    8oz lemon drop
    Marie S.

Place is nice and open- plenty of tables inside and out. I tried the wine it was smoky (not a fan) I ended up with the lemon drop beer - no lemon flavor it was really lite. I also was able to bring our dog in and sit while we had a beer. Plenty of water bowls available. They have trivia and music nights- check out their website.

Excellent place to meet up and enjoy your favorite brew with friends. Always something going on, great outdoor space. Neighborhood feel...Chris N and the team are very knowledgeable about their product. Good beer selection on draft, wines by the glass, root beer, some snacks...There is no food service, but plenty of restaurants in the shopping center that you order from and bring in. Dog and family-friendly.

Located in a strip mall, this location not only has a cute name, but also great beer! We arrived on Wednesday evening and had no idea it was trivia night. The place was packed!! My husband got their brown ale which was really good and I got the Mr. Popper which is a light and crisp beer! We really enjoyed the beer!

Quite a few things to like about this place. Recommended. Service was casual and friendly. The beer selection likely provides an option for any taste. The Wing it Again Hazy was barely hazy, but all tasty. It's a light version of a hazy imo. The Empty Office NE IPA was stellar. It looked like a hazy and bit like a West Coast IPA. The Adelie Porter was basically what you'd want from that style. The Southern Rockhooper Brown Ale was ok. A little thin and light for my taste but not bad. I love the spacious interior and "patio" area. This translates to plenty of seats inside and out. Granted, you are looking at a shopping center parking lot, but that's not uncommon. Extra points for how pet-friendly they are. My little pup was welcome inside and out. Free homemade dog biscuits were available in a jar on the day I was there, and the water bowls were both full. Well done! The music was to my liking on this Thursday day-drinking experience. And ESPN was on the big screen, so you can expect a low-key sporting event vibe in here too. Lots of parking, and plenty of restaurants in the same shopping center for takeout grub. On a personal note, I used to live down the road a bit, in the 1980's. Boondini's (RIP) was in this shopping center. There was a touch of nostalgia and sadness over how things change. I'm glad this kind of place is keeping the vibe in this area alive. If I still lived here, they'd know my name

First off I love the name of this brewery. I tried two flights and my husband ordered two pints. His favorite was the brown ale and my favorite was the Juicy Time IPA. I can't wait to try more beers once they have been open a little bit longer.

4.5 - The most important stuff first; well chosen selection of styles and very balanced, drinkable brews. I tried four half pours of completely different styles and would order all again. Although I live hours away I've been watching their tap lineup anticipating a visit and it does seem to adjust seasonly, very smart. Clean and comfortable environment. I don't mind TV's in breweries long as the volume is low and mgmt./owners don't allow it to become a Sports Bar. Plenty of seating inside or out and the staff was friendly and gladly offering help to those who needed it. FWIW I think they're in a fantastic location and will do quite well as long as they maintain what they have going. I'm pulling for 'em because I love good beer and could walk to this strip center from my first home many, many years ago. It had my favorite Mexican restaurant and a T.J. Cinnamons then. I'd do bad things for one of those Pecan Sticky Buns now!

This is a brand new local brewery. I found out from a bartender that the owner actually brewed beers for about 15 years at his house and then decided to expand and buy a space to share his craft. We actually went there for a trivia night which they do every Wednesday. The DJ did a great job of announcing the questions and having lots of different rounds with lots of different content. I tried multiple different beers and they were all delicious. I liked that they also had unique cups and glasses and decor. I love the fact that all their beers are named after penguins because they are the sneaky penguin. They also had an outdoor area that I am excited to try when it warms up. I would recommend this any day of the week.

We enjoyed several small plates, and not a single dish disappointed. Every bite was memorable. I stopped in just a they were opening on a Friday and thank goodness I showed up when I did, this place gets packed quick and you should book a reservation to be on the safe side. I was most excited about the duck egg rolls but ended up being my least favorite not because they were slightly on the dry side. Flavor was good, and the hoisin honey sauce really helped! The seafood dumplings were second best, stuffed full. The soup based was amazing and it also came with some bread for dipping in the leftover sauce. The pork and chive shumai were my favorite! A little bit bigger than bit sized but worth the mouth full! Absolutely would recommend. I'll 100% be back for more food. The bar side looked to be more casual, the dinning room was full of high tea attire so I did feel a little under dressed, thought it would be slightly more casual. They have the cutest library with free books to read but only while you dine in. The flower and book shop are in the middle of the space. Super cute, limited options but great for a last minute bouquet!

It was my first time visiting, and I overall enjoyed the vibes. There's a nice variety of beer selections on tap. The food options are pretty pizza-heavy, but no complaints there. I had the Export Stout for my drink. I am a coffee stout fanatic, and this one was pretty meh. I wasn't getting a lot of coffee notes from it, and it didn't feel as full-bodied as most stouts I've had. Not horrible, but I wasn't overly enthused. However food-wise, the meatball and ricotta pizza was my jam. I love ricotta anything, and the dough had a great chew to it. We stayed basically right up until closing, and the vibes definitely got less hospitable the closer to closing it got. 10 minutes before closing, we were asked to pour our beers into a plastic cup from our glass cups. I've never had that experience at any brewery before. A bit odd lol - like closing right on time was the priority at all costs over the customer experience. But overall, we had a decent first visit, and I would come back.

This…read morespot has the perfect laid-back vibe for a weekend meal, plus an unbeatable view of downtown Raleigh, seriously, if the weather's nice, try to sit on the patio! We had a 70 degree surprise January day while we were there, so we did just that. We started our brunch with a couple of drinks: a bloody mary and an iced coffee. The bloody mary had a nice kick. Just the right amount of spice without going overboard. The iced coffee was smooth, not bitter at all, and honestly a great pairing if you're not in the mood for booze. To start, we shared the Dill Pickle Pimento Cheese with ripple-cut fries. I'm a sucker for pimento cheese and this one was outstanding. The dill relish gave it a tangy, fresh twist that worked so well with the creamy cheese. Scoop it up with those crispy ripple fries and you're golden. It's a shareable appetizer, but honestly, I'd come back just for that. For my lunch, I had the Chicken Caesar Pita. This isn't your average Caesar wrap. It was tasty, I wasn't expecting the chicken to be pulled, but it was pull juicy, marinated chicken, tons of Tuscan kale for a hearty bite, and generous shavings of parmesan. The charred Caesar dressing brought it all together with that smoky, savory flavor. The pita bread held everything nicely without getting soggy, and the portion was just right: filling, but not overwhelming. Service was super friendly and paced perfectly, not rushed, but never left waiting. Menu options looked creative and inclusive, with plenty for vegetarians and craft beer lovers, too. We had a great experience and I'll definitely be recommending it to friends who are going to Raleigh!
