Sour flight!
Hayley P.

It's been a minute since I've been to Raleigh Brewing. I used to visit more when I was in college. Came this time for a friend's birthday. There was already a Galentine's Market going on featuring some stalls from local women-owned businesses. Then at 7 they had karaoke. I think they do it every Saturday evening. Lots of participation. It was fun! I first got a flight because I wanted to sample the sours they had and found my favorite to be the Pineapple Upside Down Passion - if you're into sours, then I recommend a try. Special mention for the strawberry shortcake sour too. We enjoyed our time here. Beer price is about what you'll find at any brewery in Raleigh.

Great place to relax and enjoy a beer. We stopped by on a Saturday. Parking is limiting, but we were able to find a spot. They promote social distancing, face masks are required, hand sanitizer is available, and they have flip cards to indicate clean and dirty tables. After waiting in line we ordered two beers from the friendly bartender. She informed us that we could only taste samples at a table. We decided against the sampling to make things easier and purchased the BBA Toll ($10) and Belltower ($5.50). We enjoyed both. The BBA Toll was incredibly strong and packed with flavor. It seemed pricy, but it's two beers in one. Keep in mind if you open a tab, that you will have to get back in line in order to close it. The line can get long, but moves at a reasonable pace. We had a good experience and would recommend this brewery to others!

This brewery is slightly hidden, but it's basically across the street from Meredith College. We dropped in quickly to fill some time before meeting friends for dinner elsewhere. They have expanded their outdoor area to include more covered tables. My boyfriend had the W^2 , a blood orange wheat and I had a peach session IPA. If we had more time I would have liked to try more of their beers. I'd like to go back!

Dog Halloween event

We have been here twice and had a great experience each time! We love going to breweries with our little dogs, it's very pet friendly here. You can bring your pup inside, but there are also many tables outdoors. We were greeted warmly on our second visit by a friendly bartender that remembered us. The cost of the beers we ordered was $5 each, so not too bad. We came here for the dog Halloween event, it's nice they had a rescue organization there trying to re-home animals. We met some friendly individuals here who were also toting their furry friend. My only tiny gripe is that I wish they had more flavored fruity Hefeweizens, but that's a personal taste thing.

They have a great selection of beer and they also have some wine and cider options. I love going because they're dog friendly! On a hot day my pup and I can enjoy a drink inside. They also have some amazing food trucks that setup in their parking lot.

Forever a Hell Yes Ma'am. RBC always has solid beers on tap and HYM is always a standout. I love their huge patio of seating which has made this a great pick for group gatherings. I have other breweries I prefer their beer offerings from but this is a solid hangout and location. Will be back!

Honey Noble Pilsner

It's a cool spot to relax & grab a beer . I enjoyed the honey noble Pilsner. It had that very crisp & smooth taste I like. It's similar to the taste of a miller lite. This brewery has the usual setup with a food truck out front to feed us hungry patrons. This was my first visit & I'll be back for sure.

This was my first time here and I was excited to try some North Carolina brewed beers. I enjoyed decided to build a flight of beers, and I enjoyed them! They come in a pretty unique NC shaped plate, and were easy to carry back to the table. I can't remember them all, but 2 of my favorites were Hell Yes Ma'am, and Raleigh Wood barrel aged ale. Their selection of beers is quite large. We came here to sit outside in the sun because of the big outdoor deck and parking lot space. It was pretty early in the afternoon, but when we were leaving a food truck pulled up. So, check the schedule if you want to eat. I recommend visiting this brewery!

I've never been a huge fan of Raleigh Brewing's beer, but I do like the events they put on here. We went for the Octoberfest celebration and it was really fun! They had a german band, and several food vendors. Plus they had some new beers, I tried the pumpkin cask beer, but it wasn't very good, literally had no carbonation and very little pumpkin flavor. They do serve kombucha from Fortnight, and so I ordered that because I know I like pretty much everything from Fortnight. One thing to be aware of is when they have events here parking can be tricky. They usually close off their parking lot for event space, and street parking fills up fast, but then again you should probably be taking an Uber to the bar anyway :)

What a cool place. A friend and I were whizzing by on our way to an NC State game and had 30 minutes to burn. Very nice vibe. Tables inside and out. Super beer selection. I wished I lived closer.

I stopped in just a they were opening on a Friday and thank goodness I showed up when I did, this place gets packed quick and you should book a reservation to be on the safe side. I was most excited about the duck egg rolls but ended up being my least favorite not because they were slightly on the dry side. Flavor was good, and the hoisin honey sauce really helped! The seafood dumplings were second best, stuffed full. The soup based was amazing and it also came with some bread for dipping in the leftover sauce. The pork and chive shumai were my favorite! A little bit bigger than bit sized but worth the mouth full! Absolutely would recommend. I'll 100% be back for more food. The bar side looked to be more casual, the dinning room was full of high tea attire so I did feel a little under dressed, thought it would be slightly more casual. They have the cutest library with free books to read but only while you dine in. The flower and book shop are in the middle of the space. Super cute, limited options but great for a last minute bouquet!

It was my first time visiting, and I overall enjoyed the vibes. There's a nice variety of beer selections on tap. The food options are pretty pizza-heavy, but no complaints there. I had the Export Stout for my drink. I am a coffee stout fanatic, and this one was pretty meh. I wasn't getting a lot of coffee notes from it, and it didn't feel as full-bodied as most stouts I've had. Not horrible, but I wasn't overly enthused. However food-wise, the meatball and ricotta pizza was my jam. I love ricotta anything, and the dough had a great chew to it. We stayed basically right up until closing, and the vibes definitely got less hospitable the closer to closing it got. 10 minutes before closing, we were asked to pour our beers into a plastic cup from our glass cups. I've never had that experience at any brewery before. A bit odd lol - like closing right on time was the priority at all costs over the customer experience. But overall, we had a decent first visit, and I would come back.

This…read morespot has the perfect laid-back vibe for a weekend meal, plus an unbeatable view of downtown Raleigh, seriously, if the weather's nice, try to sit on the patio! We had a 70 degree surprise January day while we were there, so we did just that. We started our brunch with a couple of drinks: a bloody mary and an iced coffee. The bloody mary had a nice kick. Just the right amount of spice without going overboard. The iced coffee was smooth, not bitter at all, and honestly a great pairing if you're not in the mood for booze. To start, we shared the Dill Pickle Pimento Cheese with ripple-cut fries. I'm a sucker for pimento cheese and this one was outstanding. The dill relish gave it a tangy, fresh twist that worked so well with the creamy cheese. Scoop it up with those crispy ripple fries and you're golden. It's a shareable appetizer, but honestly, I'd come back just for that. For my lunch, I had the Chicken Caesar Pita. This isn't your average Caesar wrap. It was tasty, I wasn't expecting the chicken to be pulled, but it was pull juicy, marinated chicken, tons of Tuscan kale for a hearty bite, and generous shavings of parmesan. The charred Caesar dressing brought it all together with that smoky, savory flavor. The pita bread held everything nicely without getting soggy, and the portion was just right: filling, but not overwhelming. Service was super friendly and paced perfectly, not rushed, but never left waiting. Menu options looked creative and inclusive, with plenty for vegetarians and craft beer lovers, too. We had a great experience and I'll definitely be recommending it to friends who are going to Raleigh!
