I went here with my aunt and we loved it. There was a very welcoming environment. They had something for everyone. Evan was great! He helped us figure out what we wanted. I don't like beer, but they have seltzers and cocktails as well.

Wow. Can beer be this bad? I don't think so. I think ppl here focus on IPA more than sour beer. Everything is tasting like hoppish ipa. Which is not my type of tea. 2 stars. Stop asking those unlaughable amateur comedians being on stage and talk about awkwardness

We came here because it was beautiful outdoors that day and they had music! I ordered a white wine with peach mimosa and hubs ordered a brew. Both were ok and we didn't stay long because they were re paving the seating area and since we brought the pup she would be really dirty laying in that. We may try again once they finish that. We aren't crazy about sours and they had a lot of that on tap. Nice venue and we will check out again.

I visit Durty Bull weekly for my run club. Their standouts for me are the Beer Flavored Beer Pilsner and the Painkiller seltzer that somehow manages to taste like a fizzy smoothie while picking a whopping 6.5% ABV. Special shout-out to $500 Jeans for knocking me on my butt after drinking two. Star deducted Bc its very chilly outside during the winter months They usually have a Vegan food truck hanging around. Trivia on Thursdays.

Love checking out breweries in new cities when I travel and durty bull was one of the stops I made in Durham. They had a lot of unique sounding sours on the menu, so I went with one of those (can't remember the name), but it was solid. I was a little surprised at the high prices for some of their beers, but that is not atypical at craft breweries. A solid choice for a craft beer in Durham.

Loved it here! Got a sour flight and loved all of them, from the orange rosemary one to the key lime one to the one that tasted kind of like a sour chardonnay. Parking - in the lot, or on the street. Games - plenty of board games inside! Seating - plenty of seating within the bar space itself, as well as more tables outside the actual bar more in the brewery area. Outdoor seating - yes! Several picnic tables. Wi-fi - I think? There were people working on their laptops when we went. Food - they have chip bags and other small snacks, but I believe they have a food truck during busier days as well. Will definitely be back!

I always like to get flights when I go to breweries. I got the sippy cup, my mom still packs my lunch, king of the beach, melonius funk, queeny's kolsch. My favorite was probably king of the beach (a sour). My least favorite was my mom still packs my lunch (stout) which was a bit disappointing because stouts are my favorite.

In town and went here using our Groupon on casual Thursday night. The brewery is located on a quiet side street so there was plenty of parking available. Our Groupon came with flights so we were able to choose from the many options of beer they had ranging from Sour IPAs to wheat beers. We really enjoyed the Right Round which was their Raspberry sour IPA. The rest of the beers were tasty as well. They also have the Dankery food truck outside every time the brewery is open to service your hunger. They serve some of the best friend chicken sandwiches around! The night we went they had an open mic comedy show in the back which was nothing short of hilarious, seems like this runs weekly. They also have other events which go on during the course of the week. We will definitely be going back!!

Casual, low-key, no-fuss type of place to go out with friends and chat or play some board games over a couple of beers. The whole "storage shed converted into a brewery" type of ambience is so quintessentially Durham. This is the kind of place that you'd pick if you're feeling like you want to hang out with some close friends or family without having to go through the headache of downtown Durham parking. If you're looking to end up in Shooters in a couple of hours though, I'd probably pick a rowdier bar with a younger crowd. They have two "rooms" inside, and a large projector screen in the main room that shows the big basketball games. There's seating outdoors as well with cute strings of lights hanging overhead. The place is dog-friendly.

Best brewery in Durham? No. Creative beers? Yes. On this visit I was able to try several small pours of Durty Bull beers, none of which super impressed me. A few of the beers that I did like included the Durty Bull Blonde Sour, Brett's Cinnamon Apple Ale and Durty Bull BBA Blackberry Sour. The taproom is smaller but they do have an outdoor seating area. If you are looking for food, check out their website to see what food truck will be on site. Cheers!

Great spot! Loved the sour flight. They have board games, cornhole and frisbee golf, what is not to love!

Please stop putting BEER in the frozen seltzers without listing it as an ingredient! Very dangerous for those with gluten allergies.

The Rice IPA was very tasty if fairly in-line with most other IPAs.

I've been to the Raleigh location as well, check out the review if you want to know more. Panysaurus over all is a cool place (either location) but they have drastically different vibes - which in my book is a good thing. The Durham location brings you an awesome patio scene! The bar itself is a bit small but their indoor/outdoor approach makes it seem huge. The patio is two floors, both covered, one just off the bar and the other right about that which has a few TVs for those interested. Off of the patio is a nice size "beer garden" sitting area complete with picnic tables and a great view. If you are looking for chill family friendly patio vibes this is the place to be! I really love Ponysaurus beer, their pilsner is nice but their kolsch is my favorite. If you've been to the Raleigh location, the Durham menus is not the same. Yes they have pizza but it doesn't seem to have the same options - still good though. We went with a hankering for the hummus we got at the Raleigh location, again the Durham location had hummus but a different variation. One thing that's consistent with both locations is the amount of pita that came with the hummus, there is nothing worse than getting a huge bowl of hummus and only a few pieces of hummus or chips. Both locations knocked it out of the park. Plenty of WARM pita for everyone. This location is somewhat self-service, the bartender obviously poured out beer and there is a cute window for picking up snacks but no table service.

I was hoping I would not be disappointed. Downtown Durham on Parrish Street I do believe. I went there midday and there was a sparse lunch crowd already seated when I arrived. The warmly lit space presents nice aesthetic as you walk into the restaurant. A very chill and comfortable atmosphere. I love the bar and the mirrored wall nestled behind it. The spot is pretty laidback and very clean, but has a bit of a rustic nuance to it as well. I like that. The serving staff were extremely nice and helpful towards advising me in making my selection -- with me being a first-timer and all. I kept it simple...I chose the Classic Burger (pink) with pepper jack cheese, bacon marmalade, and as a side, I had to go with the Dirty Fries -- 'cause that's how I roll y'all. About the food: I have to say, the burger was staunchly built and crafted with artistry. Nice and tall with a seriously tasty bun encapsulating everything. Perfectly well-seasoned meat and the first bite was simply delightful. I noticed as I got towards the center of the meat, it was bit less juicy than the surrounding parts of the burger, but nevertheless still tasty. My Dirty Fries were delicious In the end; the experience as a whole was quite delightful and I would definitely like to go there again -- perhaps try a different burger to expand upon my experience with this place. Gotta try out That Bar y'all! I do recommend it for those who haven't had a chance to go by there to check it out.

Even before me an my party entered we could hear music playing from the building, which kept the vibes up! Moving onto the food, a certain menu item caught my eye. Something that I'm legally obligated to keep quiet about... but let tell you- this burger was Gooood. This "Signature Secret Burger" was rather unique, as it was like you took a pretty simple egg burger, and just ramped it up. My initial thought when I first tried it was that it was a burger squared, the mystery ingredients amplified the flavor to make such a savory meal. It wasn't to overbearing like many other burger places that I've visited, not immediately making me feel fat and full after taking a few bites. Our party also ordered a whole quart of fries, and they were SO GOOD!!! I'm a sucker for good fries, and you knocked this out of the park! Your fry soft was nice and mellow and complimented the fries perfectly. (And even afterwards, the fries warmed up really well and were still Really freakin' good!) Finally, during my visit, their anniversary event (Happy 15th By The Way ) and they were offering FREE DESSERT for someone who happened to sit in a randomly chosen seat. And by the luck of the gods my little brother found his way onto the seat! It was just really awesome to see a restaurant doing such awesome things for their birthday, y'don't see that every day! Overall, this place is definitely a place to stop by if you're in Durham. If you're in the area visit IMMEDIATELY if you love good fun food!
