Nice quiet tucked away brewery we visited on a Sunday afternoon. Weather was perfect and we ordered seltzer. I ordered the watermelon seltzer which was quite refreshing. They had a el toro alebrije taco truck that looked very good also. Definitely will come back to check it out further as they had a lot on tap.

Great selection of beers! They serve a wide range of ABVs so there is literally a beer or seltzer for everyone. If you aren't into beer or seltzer ... they also serve wine and mixed drinks. My pick of the night from this brewery is the Pilsner. They have food trucks as well. We went on a Thursday and they play music bingo - quite fun. Only set back is the location, it is in the middle of nothing. This place has a good vibe and good beer. Go support this local brewery. And, the merch and logo are really cool.

This is a great place to meet a group of friends, as its right off of Brier Creek, but it's not in the middle of the strip malls. Plus, they have their own beers, and even a few glasses of wine for the non-beer drinkers in the group. There is an inside area by the bar with a dozen or so tables, which is air conditioned for the hot summer days, but an outdoor area and patio for the nice days. Totally casual There is a Mexican food truck outside (and I don't know if its always there) but it was surprisingly good!

This place did not disappoint. It was on the smaller scale of a brewery, but overall a nice little spot. I had the shotgun betty and it tasted great! Had a nice toasty flavor to it. They had a food truck out there which I love seeing breweries that do this. Also, they had porta potties you could use, which were cleaned and well sanitized. Not to mention beside the porta potties was a place you could wash your hand with actual soap and water, not just hand sanitizer. The weather was perfect as well!

We were passing through Raleigh on a Friday afternoon and there was a major traffic back up... 45+ min per the map app and no way around it. So we pulled off and found the closest brewery which was Lone Rider LoneRider is pretty easy to find and right off a main road. They have some street parking and I think they have a lot across the street but I am not sure. If that is not their lot, parking on a busy day could be an issue. There was a food truck there when we stopped in and they had a tent set up outside with several tables under it. They also had some uncovered outside seating as well. The interior bar area is not large and there are just a few tables inside. There was a cornhole game going on and this place is dog friendly as there were dogs all over. They had a pretty large beer selection. Since we were just wasting some time, we got a flight with to try some options out. Out of all the beers we tried, I think we liked the Pilsner the best.I

FREE BEER!!! Did I get your attention?! Yep, those are two magical words and the brewery tour at LoneRider was jammed on Friday night with 80+ people. I go back to a day when bars would have some meager beer choices: Bud, Miller and ooooh, Michelob... Nowadays, you've got five great microbrew choices in Raleigh alone! LoneRider is one of the newer breweries in the Raleigh area (Big Boss, Aviator, Boylan Bridge, and the soon to come Natty Greenes) and a good one. Inside, there was a full-on scrum in front of the beer bar but people were all really cool and happy. Hard to complain when you're getting two free brewski's right? I had a wonderfully smooth Sweet Josie Brown Ale and a Peacemaker IPA with some nice bite. Hmmm, beer! The LoneRider space is typical of most breweries: concrete blocks, lots of plumbing equipment and functional industrial decor. The LoneRider staff people were all really helpful and polite, bonus there! The brewmaster took the crowd through a tour of the equipment and a detailed explanation on how LoneRider makes their brews. LoneRider's tasting room is open Thursday to Saturday and tours are given weekly on alternating Fridays and Saturdays. A great way to spend an hour if you're in the hood. And if you know any gals who would look great in cowboy boots while toting a shotgun, LoneRider is still on the lookout for their Shotgun Betty spokesmodel! What can I say but fresh beer ALWAYS tastes great and even a little bit better when its free. So thank you LoneRider for slaking the thirst for all of us wannabe-outlaws!

The service is always fun and i enjoy the open atmosphere. This Belgian-inspired brasserie continues to be one of my go-to destinations for great food, craft beer, and one of the best Painkillers in town. My must-order dish is always the crispy beer-battered pollock paired with their perfectly seasoned truffle fries. The fish is light, flaky, and fried to golden perfection, but the real star might be their housemade tartar sauce--it's absolutely addictive. A few other standouts from our table included: Savory risotto topped with seared shrimp and blistered tomatoes The NRBC Juicy Burger loaded with onion straws and beer cheese Every dish was packed with flavor, and it's easy to see why this spot remains a local favorite. Whether you're stopping in for a craft beer, cocktails, or a hearty meal, this is a place that's always worth the visit.

The first thing we noticed as walked in was how warm the place was. They have an open kitchen which is generating heat. They didn't seem to have central AC. They did have one wall mounted AC which was nowhere enough to cool down the place during peak summer days. We almost decided to leave and go elsewhere but we sat down. We got the following: Grilled Caesar salad was pretty decent for what it was. Duck Poutine was quite underwhelming. It was pretty cheese fries with duck on it. Not quite the typical poutine that also has gravy on it. Blood Orange Crème Brulee was my favorite item of the three we had. You could taste the blood orange in the crème brulee which was amazing. The portion could have been a big larger. I was expecting it to be in a small coffee cup. I could have had another one easily. All in over an average experience. Not sure if I will go back!

Anyway - Pizzas are consistently good, come out quick, and new pizza toppings/flavors pop up every once in a while. I especially love their Wednesday night dinner specials - sometimes I'm not as much in the mood for pizza but they do things like chicken parm and pasta just as good. Service is like a mix of waitstaff and self serve but whenever we interact with anyone working there they're always super friendly and helpful. Like I said, just love this spot! They had a little tap on the patio. So we hopped in line. My friend went inside to see if we could get beer faster. You know divide and conquer. She won, however the line outside was still long so we stayed in line so we could get another. Sure enough by the time we reached the front of the line we were out. So we grabbed a couple more put them on the open tab from inside and walked around. We came back after walking around and decided after seeing everyone walking around with pizza boxes and Togo bags that we would eat here. We knew from being there earlier that they had outside first come seating seat yourself, but it was full so we went inside, turns out that is also first come first serve seat yourself. There was a table getting up as we walked in so we sat down and they were quick to come clean it. The waitress came and too our drink order and we saw her 1 more time after that. Even though they have a scan menu on the table for you to place your order I think they should still check on you. She came at the end to see if we needed her to close out our tab at the bar, we had already taken care of that. We could have used her during our meal. The wedge Cesar was ok, the lettuce was nice and crisp. The Cesar was good. I always get my dressing on the side sometimes when you get a salad it can be overdressed and I don't like that so I don't take chances. The Chicken schnitzel was ok not outstanding. It could use some seasoning. The salad "on top" of it was good. The dressing was really good. Now this roasted broccoli was the star of the table. It was so yumm. I only wish the dressing was on the side. It was so much of it in the top I had to rub some off. Otherwise it was so good. We would have ordered more but having to use the San to order and pay each time I didn't like that so we just ate that and moved on. Maybe we will try the pizza next time.
