If you think this store is funny, then it's LOL-i and Pops. I just think it's sugary and expensive. I really wanted to like this little candy store and I still do really want to like it, but the main problem is that the prices are just so high. It's just way too expensive to get yourself some candy from here. That's the reason why I can't really love it as much as I wanted to. Sure, products can be great, although some of them are typical American overly sugary crap. But when it comes to the actual prices they should honestly be ashamed of themselves. It's a big chain too so they don't even need to charge this much.

Inside first colony mall close to forever 21 and food court. Large specialty candy place with a international candies, specialty sodas, and bon bons. Bc of covid only 8-9 people inside at a time. An employee has to get the bin candy for you. Great selection. Prices a little high but expected Bc it's specialty. Can't wait to try my purchases : chocolates, fruit ribbons, honey sticks ...

overall wouldn't recommend. the prices are so crazy high. the fact there's a "practice social distancing" sign up in 2023 is ridiculous imo. location is convenient but not worth it.

The shop has many different kinds of chocolate including some sugar-free ones too. They are sold by the pound at the counter or in gift boxes throughout the shop. The fudge is also aplenty and the price per pound varies with flavors. Think smooth and velvety fudge that is rich and delicious! The caramel apples are also great tasting whether you like it dipped in milk chocolate or dark chocolate or covered in nuts or not. They'll offer to cut it for you so you can eat it right away or to keep it whole to enjoy later or gift it. Caramel corn is sold in bags for those who like the sweet tasting popcorn. I find their ice cream to be on the sweeter end and also somewhat more pricey than many other sweets shops. Overall a good spot to stop by once in a while to feed the sweet tooth. Parking can be a bit hard on the weekend if you're looking to park right in front of the shop, though there is complimentary parking in the Sugar Land Town Square garage nearby.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The Dubai crepe was super rich and creamy and nice large portion size. The strawberry mousse cake was frozen solid, so I was not able to eat it right away but it was a lovely mousse with jelly fruit filling and a thick chocolate crust. Also got a bag of chocolates, which are weighed by the pound. The only qualm I have is that the chocolates are not labeled, so when you mix them all together, it truly is a bit of a Russian roulette on what you'll get. Everything was super yummy. Will definitely need to be back!

I was right; it wasn't crowded--just my husband and me. We ordered an Arabic coffee and a latte with milk. (As a side note, they were out of Arabic coffee, so we opted for Turkish coffee instead.) We also decided to purchase some chocolate. The person at the till showed us a couple of chocolate box options, and we chose the large one to fill with amazing and interesting chocolates. Yummmm We also asked for a bar of the viral Dubai chocolate bar. The employee said he had already added it to our box! We asked him twice, and he agreed. We complimented his stealth and efficiency. He even charged for it. When we got home, the Dubai chocolate was nowhere to be found. It wasn't in the box, the bag, or anywhere else, but there was definitely an additional charge on our receipt for it. Why did the employee double down on confirming that it was in the bag if it wasn't? While I want to assume it was an innocent mistake, this was an utterly disappointing customer service experience, even though it had a really welcoming vibe set up by the Syrian traditional family and their history depicted on the walls. I'll think twice before visiting this place again, despite its lovely family history.

I did try a few different types of chocolate, one being more of a crispy cookie called the Baton Frommage. It is chocolate and cheese, and it tastes exactly as it states 10/10 Next was a white chocolate potato chip, which was absolutely fantastic. The balance of sweet and savory with the crunch was beautifully done- 10/10 Lastly, I had to try what they're known for which is their Nama chocolate. The texture of the Nama chocolate is soft, almost like a cheesecake and the taste was very decadent. I tried an orange chocolate, a regular dark chocolate and white chocolate with white chocolate being my favorite. 10/10. One of the things that I noticed about these chocolates is that a lot of them are individually wrapped so they make great gifts options and they are packaged well. The only slight quirk to the Nama is that it has to be refrigerated so that may not work for some. They do provide an ice pack to go in the packaging so that way if you have some running around to do, it will preserve your chocolates for a little bit.

Different from other chocolate stores that sell pieces of large chocolate bark/bars by the pound. I bought the Black Chocolate bar for $10.99 and enjoyed how it isn't too sweet or bitter. Nice place to get a gift for someone but wouldn't stop by for a sweet treat for myself considering the price/inability to mix and match chocolate pieces.
