The popcorn spot near my home is closed, so I had to find a new spot. I think I have to look no further than What's Poppin Popcorn. The owners patiently helped me coordinate combinations for my daughter's unicorn party mix. I also did an adult mix that is incredible. read more

Lady Blacksox Softball team Salida Ca, loves this fundraiser! Not only do you get 50% of the profit, but it's very easy. A great way to help those families with paying tuition for their players. We have raised over $2,000 last season and about to start raising again. read more

Fast service, great popcorn, and TONS of options! They allowed everyone to taste a couple different flavors, which honestly just made the decisions even harder. LOL! Whole family loved it! read more

Great gift idea? You bet. Tasty flavors and great decorative tins. I got one for Christmas and went back for refills. Staff and service are great. read more

Love the concept & the large variety of flavors. Wish the lady handling the popcorn used gloves & also wish the popcorn options were visible, like in a display case at the front rather than the plastic containers in the back. However, the confetti popcorn was very tasty & very sweet read more

This place is truly great! They have some of the best popcorn around, loads a flavors, something for everyone. My wife and I bought popcorn from them for snacks at our wedding which everyone enjoyed. I've also purchased tins from them for myself and family members and they very nice too. read more

Got a variety of a few different sizes. They are all delicious, crunchy, and sweet- do wish, however, they were not as skimpy with the toppings on the more pricey popcorns. Turns out when they put "drizzle" they really meant "drizzle"- only about half the bag is drizzled while the other half is basic caramel. They have a super large variety which is nice, but a lot of the flavors look like they probably go to waste because (I tried, and) they are not at all tasty. But props for the innovation read more

This was a great experience for us and look forward to doing it again soon. All my customers loved the taste of these products.

Let's start with the quality of the product. It is salty and stale. It didn't used to be, that why I came back in the 1st place. Then the price. If you are going to charge more or even the same, at least keep the quality the same and for God's sake keep them satisfied. Which brings me to customer service. As soon as I got home I open my bag of cheesy cheese popcorn and it was stale and salty. I immediately called and told them of the subpar product. I was told that the manager would call me back. 3 days 4 days 5 days go by still no call. I call again tell them my name and information and she pretends like she doesn't know that I called before. But then reveals that yes she does know who I am and tells me once again her manager is out of town but she will have her call me. Fast forward a few more days I come back to the store with my overpriced popcorn, and the girl behind the counter says that the owner left me a voicemail. I said she did Not! So once again I left my information and did not receive a call back or any retribution for this overpriced stale salty popcorn. I would not recommend them to anyone especially popcorn lovers you will be very upset that you spent your money on subpar product to lying no good customer service people. read more

I ordered 40 popcorn cones for a baby shower party favors. The lady I talked to on the phone didn't really know much and not very informative. She asked me wAnt I wanted on them? "I said it's a baby shower what's is your suggestion." She said ready to pop is most popular. I said yes that's perfect. And asked me if I wanted ribbon on it and thought that would be great. I was so excited for these popcorn cones. Friday a lady called and explained to me that the girl was new and she didn't charge you for the ribbon. I said ok I'll pay when I pick it up. She asked me color of ribbons and said she would make it look good. So picked them up Saturday and the girl working there had a huge hickey on her neck that's all I could stare at. But anywho I got the popcorn and was not impressed. read more

The people are very friendly and the popcorn is great. My daughter and I tried 10 different kinds of popcorn because we had no idea what we wanted. We ended up buying 6 different bags because we could not make up our minds what we wanted. They have popcorn tins that are customized with all of the branches of the military, pro sports, colleges and Katy HS! They will help you put together a birthday present if your daughter waits till the last minute to get her best friend a present. :) Bottom line the service and the popcorn are amazing! read more

My first time here and the flavors were really good. I tried the dill pickle and confetti flavorrs

Such a great place. Every popcorn we have had is delicious! Love that it is a Katy owned small business who involved in the community.

We stopped in tonight because I really wanted to see if they have some kind of party favor that would be a good alternative to sending messy cupcakes to school for my kids' birthdays. They do; they're called pop cones and seem like an affordable choice, so we'll be doing those this school year. Meanwhile my kids were completely overwhelmed by all the flavor choices, and after sampling several, we walked out with five different flavors in the "tiny" bags which really aren't that tiny and start at only $1.95. The popcorn is really flavor-packed and pretty delicious, even the more bizarre flavors--my son's dill pickle--and I didn't think I would like grape, but it's quite good as well. Will definitely return for gifts and favors, and the occasional treat! read more

I stopped in cuz my daughter kept talking about it. I loved the selections, popcorn is fresh, many great flavors to choose from and they let you sample them. They also have gift basket choices for those hard to figure out what to get people in your life! These make great choices. You can get Tiny bags, junior bags, small, medium, large and tins that are refillable for a discount. As an added bonus the girls were sweet and helpful. I'm an avid gourmet popcorn lover! And I finally found a shop that does it right! I'm not too adventurous when it comes to flavors...I usually get butter and cheese mixed together 95% of the time. My husband has tried a few of the different sweet flavors though and he's impressed. I like to come here and get a bag before we go to the movies, it's A LOT cheaper and you get much better popcorn. read more

I enjoy the movie theater and Chicago flavors. My family wants more and more!! My niece cheerleader squad chose to use this popcorn as a fundraiser. It was a surprising success. everyone that ordered lameneted over the fact that should have purchased more. So many times the products for fundraising are bland and completely underwhelming: cookie dough, gift wrap, chocolate, pastries, etc. THIS PRODUCT IS THE EXCEPTION. read more

This place is awesome! I've had the mixed cherry and vanilla popcorn and could barely put the bag down. Have already placed an order for another mixture (cotton candy & vanilla) and can't wait to pick them up. Great for marketing gifts, birthdays, baby showers, and etc. Very happy customer! read more

Hands down the best selection of flavors in the city of Houston. Also, their customer service is top notch.

My husband loves the Turtle popcorn, and I recently had the Chili Lime - both were fantastic. We have used the tiny bags as stocking stuffers for Christmas - which everyone opened immediately, and ate Christmas morning! read more

I have been going to What's Poppin since the day it opened and I have never had a bad experience. They have such an assortment of different flavors and I have never been disappointed with any of the flavors that I've had. posted review to wrong company, so I'll give you five stars just cause it was my error,.

Good and crunchy popcorn. It's a little warm inside the store but the owner was nice and helpful.

It really is a shame... we pulled up two minutes before closing, and one of the employees raced us to the door (with her manager inside watching her), turned off the open sign, and refused to let us in... even though there were still two customers inside. It's popcorn for crying out loud. It's not like they had to cook something from scratch for us. We will be going to the new popcorn place down the street from now on. read more
