    Lomo Saltado
    Harry P.

Lola's Peruvian in Glendale was an excellent experience from start to finish. I ordered the Conchas a la Parmesana and the Lomo Saltado, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The Conchas a la Parmesana were cooked perfectly tender scallops topped with a rich, creamy parmesan sauce that was full of flavor without being overwhelming. The Lomo Saltado was just as satisfying: juicy, well-seasoned beef stir-fried with onions and tomatoes, served with crispy fries and fluffy rice. Classic, authentic, and done right. Service really stood out as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and fast, making sure everything came out promptly and that we were well taken care of. Shout out to Brandon for the great service! The restaurant itself is clean, well-organized, smells great, and has a warm, inviting ambiance that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal. Highly recommend Lola's Peruvian in Glendale if you're looking for amazing food and top-notch service.

    excellent Steak!

Lolas is best Peruvian restaurant has the best food and ambiance, plus they even allow dogs, which is why I keep coming back to Glendale. The ambiance here is just perfect. The hospitality on Friday night is simply amazing, with music that transports you to the streets of Lima.

    Aji de Gallina - delicious!

This is for Doordash so I can only describe the food which was outstanding! My favorite Peruvian dish is Aji de Gallina and Lola's made is to perfection! So much I could not finish, though I tried! Such a creamy sauce, so much chicken and the perfect spice. OMG. When I am here I am ordering this every time! I topped this off with the crocante de lucuma which I had never tasted before. I LOVE finding new things and this one made the best of this year... Just think, a butterscotch flavored fruit that is fibre rich and good for you made into a mousse pie! HEAVEN! Definitely suggest you try this amazing dessert! Loved this meal!

Quinoa cau-cau and fried plantains. Delicious.

I ordered the quinoa cau-cau and my friend and I shared the platanos fritos with my friend. The fried plantains were fairly standard, but the cau-cau was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I have never had cau-cau before but I was absolutely delighted by my meal. The flavor was amazing (the balance of spices was on point) and the meal was incredibly light. I loved the combination of vegetables with quinoa as well. 10/10 recommend. Price is medium-tier but the portion size was pretty good and kept me full for a good while. Staff were kind and food was prepared quickly.

Lola's has been on my bookmark for a while now, so I was really excited to try it with my friend today. Lola's is in the heart of Brand Ave. And as soon as you go inside, it's definitely a vibe. We started with bread and the ceviche mixto. It was light and refreshing. I ordered the Lomo Saltado and she ordered Saltado de Camarones. Both were delicious, but I do wish they had a little bit more protein and gave more "green" sauce. The service was good. Just a little tip for you, there are plenty of parking in the back at a private lot or you can look for parking in front of the restaurant. Just a warning... If you don't have your front license plate, you will be ticketed... Everyone in front of the restaurant up and down the street, got a fix it ticket for the front license plate. Me included which kinda ruin the lunch for me!

Great tasting Peruvian food . Good service, and beautiful ambiance . Chi cha brought back many great memories with its authentic flavors. This spontaneous stop did not disappoint.

This was a perfect lunch stop. Amazing quality food. I had been craving lomo saltado and this place beyond exceeded expectations. The beef was wonderfully tender and the veggies charred so nicely. Rice and Milanesa de pollo also perfect. And the Peruvian Pilsner was actually seriously tasty even off the bottle. Would 1000% reorder. Wonderful service and really nice ambiance. Thank you very much.

Firstly, I wish this place had more business because the food quality that they had a the indoor vibes of this restaurant deserves more attention. I haven't had much Peruvian food before, and I'm so glad that I was able to try this restaurant. I ordered the beef saltado and it was cooked to perfection, I just wish for my own personal preference was more sauce to pair with the rice. The server was excellent and always checked in on us which was definitely nice. Overall, I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant to try more items on their menu

We ordered takeout for dinner from Lola's during a quick overnight stay in Glendale. It appeared closed from the outside, and we almost went to another place. Fortunately, another group decided to open the door and when I realized they were open, we followed suit. The staff was welcoming and helpful. After briefly looking over the menu, we ordered the following: Yuca Frita a la Huancaina $18 Seafood saltado $29 Lomo saltado, beef $29 We took our meals to the hotel and immediately dug in. I was pleased to see that the portions were generous, especially since they're on the pricey side IMO. My seafood saltado came with a good amount of seafood and the sauce was flavorful. My son also devoured his lomo saltado with no complaints. I only had a few bites of the yuca frita, but it was also delicious. Lola's was a great pick for dinner!

Disclaimer this was my first time trying Peruvian food but wow wow wow! Difficult to imagine anything else topping their Lomo saltado. Also the bread their serve before the meal comes out. Phenomenal. A must try for anyone in the area looking for excellent Peruvian food

Now when you pull up originally you might think, "am I in the right place" but once you park and get into the courtyard, it is LOVELY! Amazing ambience! There is a bocce set up, string lights. It is a little slice of oasis in the middle of the fashion district. The restaurant itself - beautiful. I couldn't ask for more. Absolutely perfect in my book. Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us. The service was quick and attentive. Parking was easy for us. I will definitely be back!

It's got a nice view, nice ambiance, good 90's-2000s music and then towards the end of the night some Bad Bunny and Spanish rock, It had comfortable seating options. My husband wasn't sure what he wanted and she offered a few suggestions that were pretty tasty. She also kept checking in on us even though we weren't ordering food. We had a 1:00 PM reservation and were told after checking in that the wait would only be 20-30 minutes. We ended up waiting about 40 minutes and were then seated at a tiny table for six people with the sun directly hitting us the entire time. Our waitress greeted us with only one menu and said she didn't have any more. We asked about bottomless mimosas and she responded, "I don't know, I saw one person doing it but I don't think so." How does a server not know whether the restaurant offers bottomless mimosas? We ordered drinks almost immediately after being seated, but they didn't arrive until 2:10 PM. It is over an hour later , while tables seated after us already had theirs. The food service was even worse: 2:09 PM: only 1 out of 6 meals arrived No silverware or napkins were provided We had to ask another server, who placed loose forks and knives directly on the table and said he only had 3 napkins 2:30 pm only 2 more plates came out Another plate arrived later by 2:33pm while 2 people still had no food at all By the time my food arrived, the waffle was dry and stiff, and the "chicken and waffles" looked like one chicken strip cut into four tiny pieces. And was $22. My son's burger came out much later, and my husband's food didn't arrive until 2:50 PM which was another $22 dry chicken and waffle plate. At that point we asked for the manager because our entire Mother's Day brunch had been spent waiting while everyone ate separately. The manager seemed completely unconcerned and said someone would handle it only after my mom asked what was he planning on doing besides apologizing as we were still missing a plate. Meanwhile, our waitress barely checked on us unless we flagged her down ourselves. No refills, no silverware, no urgency, and constant "your food is coming in two seconds" excuses. The food itself was disappointing too. Chicken and waffle Portions were tiny, flavors were off, and even the horchata colada tasted nothing like horchata. This was actually our second bad experience here. We previously came for Taco Tuesday and experienced similar disorganization, but decided to give the restaurant another chance. Huge mistake. Parking is terrible, the waiting area is overcrowded, and the restaurant felt completely unprepared and understaffed for a holiday they should have planned for. But we were sitting waiting for a drink. I heard other waitresses freaking out telling people Dont Give Out lunch menus sad that they can't even handle brunch. Honestly, you're better off going somewhere like The Broken Yolk Cafe if you want decent brunch service and to actually enjoy your meal together. Sad that a place trying to present itself as high-end. If you're gonna boast about being the first rooftop in Rancho, your service and your food and your drinks better be good. Completely ruined our Mother's Day. We will never return! The 20% off a $220 bill was paid right back at the waitress tip which, if my family hadn't paid, I would've gave her nothing. Isn't your waitress supposed to see your table that one person has food for half an hour shouldn't she go back and ask shouldn't your waitress see if you have your drinks within 40 minutes shouldn't your waitress know what you serve there shouldn't your waitress check on her tables completely ridiculous. A single rose does not make up for horrible service. I included pictures with time stamps

I have not really been to many Peruvian restaurants, but if this is any way typical, then I'm certainly a fan . The question is not WILL I be back...but rather WHEN I will return. The answer is VERY SOON whether or not my car needs additional service. . One more thing to note. As I texted a few friends, talked with a few employees at Pacific BMW and casually texted and talked with friends while I ate...it struck me many people I know have been coming here regularly and ALL had similarly good things to say about this Peruvian gem in the muddle of Glendale.
