So we came it right before a rush. The food took a little bit because of the horde that came in lol. However the food was delicious, Lola cooks in a premium aspect, she water bathes the pork for the adobo. After we are we had home made Ube ice cream with Halo Halo made from scratch. Everything was delicious! At first I thought that the portions were small, but then when I finished the food I was incredibly full. After all this Lola herself came out and greeted us, asked us how the food was and built rapport with my family. Not only is she very attractive, she is also very professional and confident. This is a 5 star restaurant in Burlington and a place I will be sure to call a second home next time I visit the area. Restaurant is small but has a great updated and modern decor and wonderful friendly service. I had the Lola's combo plate and found it to be a great choice if you want to take in several staple menu items to make your dining experience a tasty journey. It comes with Lumpia, BBQ and Pancit and all were really good. Beautiful place! I visited for the first time today. The owners have done a great job in making their establishment warm and inviting. The menu is quite small, but there appears to be something for everyone who likes Filipino food. Special dishes vary from week to week and the photos I've seen on FB look delicious. The proprietor suggested the Lola's platter with Lumpia, BBQ skewers, and a noodle dish, which the name escapes me at the moment (Oh yeah, Pancit!). I had the double dragon lumpia (nice kick of heat in the Dragon lumpia!), grilled pork skewers, and the noodle dish with pork. Delicious food! I'll go back as often as I can. We ordered the large lumpia Birthday Cake for our son's 18th Birthday....it did not disappoint . It was a beautiful presentation and it tasted amazing! The pork was my favorite. The noodle salad that comes with it was yummy and you can never go wrong with Thai iced tea! They make the best Halo-halo and Lumpia! The owner said they grind their own meat and make their own ice cream... how awesome is that?! We only did "to go" but they we're very nice and accomodating. Just arrived in this town and heard about a new Filipino restaurant. They were almost closing - open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - and I still got served! First, I had their thirst quenching hibiscus iced tea - perfect since I drove for over 2 hours non stop. Then I ordered Lola's platter which included: 1) typical rice noodles called PANCIT (I picked vegetables only), 2) grilled and tastefully marinated pork BBQ ON A STICK with shaved mango and carrots and 3) mildly spiced small pork fried LUMPIA that you dipped in sweet and sour sauce. All delicious and filling:) Chef owner Gina usually has a daily special. Today it's Bicol express - pork cooked in coconut milk with SILI (Filipino red chili) over boiled white rice. This was very yummy!! And who leaves a Filipino restaurant without dessert? This is one culture that knows how to make sweet stuff! I had the fried UBE lumpia with UBE ice cream!! UBE is a purple root vegetable that you can cook into something sweetly delicious:) Chef Gina's food presentation was artistic and not overly decorated. Just like the interior decorations of her restaurant - simple and elegant - and not cluttered like most Asian restaurants. I will go back here again. I'm thinking of Filipino breakfast! read more

Very clean, warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. However, it took them an hour to serve 6 little skewers of chicken with a side of rice that was just mediocre.
