Omg omg Omg!!! If you love Filipino food, you best go to this gem!!!!!! They do cash and zelle, please know that first! Wooooooooow! It's like mama's and dad's homemade cooking, you know this is made with love! I took it to go. I got the pork AND the chicken combo plates because I wanted the taste the best of all worlds. I even got the pork lumpia! I was moaning while eating! It is THAT good! I need to go back! The man whose works there is so kind. The place is clean and quiet but I got my food to go! Oh and they have Ice cream and chocolate for your sweet tooth! I'm getting hungry thinking about the food again, I must go back! Worth all 5 stars!

I have been to this restaurant numerous times. I especially like the pancit bihon and the chicken adobo. Portions are large for one person. They only take cash so try to remember this before you go.

We're always looking for more filipino food. This was a great find! There's so many authenticate filipino dishes that we will need to come back many times to try them all. The owner was so nice and kept offering us everything we could possibly need to make our meal/experience better.

Finally came when they were open! Went for a late lunch at around 3pm. Got the adobo combo plate and a palabok. Both were good and it took maybe 20 minutes to get the order. It wasn't super greasy, which I like. Both foods were at a fair price for Filipino foods. They were out of halo halo and drinks other than soda, so I will have to come back later to try. Service was average. They were out of different meats for the adobo. Ambiance- since I was there for a late lunch there wasn't anyone until after we left.

Legit filipino food up in Arlington! Why is this place even here and not closer to me! Modern looking inside with lots of seating. you know its the real deal when you see the huge dispensers for house vinegar sauce and soy sauce at your disposal! The spoon and fork warmer is also a lux amenity that was next level! Crispy pata: huge and crispy! Skin is nice and crunchy and all the meaty bits are even tastier dipped in vinegar sauce. Laing: (greens cooked in coconut milk) a little bit on the salty side but really good on top of white rice Lechon kawali: you really can't go wrong with fried crispy pork belly. So good and better when paired with vinegar sauce Pork rib sinigang: nice and sour! This version has Taro in it which thickens the broth a bit Bicol express: love this dish and is sort of like the filipino version thai green curry! This one has a good funk to it possibly from bagoong (fermented fish paste) mixed on. They also are their own chocolatier business and have huge selection of chocolate flavors to choose from! Mango and chocolate? Yes please! Make the drive and check them out!

First of all, thanks to fellow Yelp Elite friend, Richard U. who put Strita Kitchen and Chocolate Shop on my radar screen. I will go out of my way to try a restaurant site featuring Filipino cuisine and definitely for handmade bean to bar chocolate! I had the opportunity to stop by for lunch coming back south from the Bow/Edison/Bellingham area. It was a perfect detour off I-5 in Smokey Point/Burlington (2/12/22). It is located off the Smokey Point highway in a quirky spot between a quasi business park and housing development. But this is one of the spots I consider IYKYK. I had no idea Strita existed, if it wasn't for Richard's Yelp post and photos. The furthest north I've had Filipino cuisine are located in Everett and Marysville, respectively. The welcoming person at the register mentioned that they have been in business for three years. It is unique to have both a restaurant and chocolate retail shop with production area. I appreciated the nice selection of menu items and the very clean, aesthetically pleasing dining area. And of course, chocolate! I did buy a 70% plain dark chocolate bar from all the varieties featured in the display case. They also have a dedicated freezer area with Lopez Island ice cream flavors to add to their popular halo halo. There was only two folks waiting for takeout and larger party dining onsite when I arrived. Order and pay at the front register. They call your name and you bring your prepared dishes to your table of choice. There are warmed utensils, napkins, and a variety of condiments available. Plates and bowls are available per request for your party. However, no iced water. All beverages, water included, are available for purchase. It is to your advantage to have a larger party, as their entrees are very generous and shareable. I dined solo, but had boxed up leftovers to savor later at home. I ordered lechon kawali, dinuguan, and steamed rice. All items were fresh and piping hot. The lechon kawali - succulent pork with crispy skin. Nicely seasoned, it didn't really need the accompanying dipping sauce. The dinuguan was tasty - not overly vinegary or mineraly. And of course, generous serving of perfectly steamed rice, not mushy or dry. The entrees are plated with such care, where they are visually pleasing with the garnishes of peppers and green onions. I was able to dine leisurely and left satisfied. As I was wrapping up my visit, more folks arrived. Pairs, family trios, one group of senior citizens, others for takeout. Clearly the word was getting out, because I was not the only one where this was their first visit. Welcoming service, nice selection of Filipino entree favorites, ice cream and halo halo, and also bean to bar chocolates. Great find and definitely recommended!

It was Father's Day and my husband was craving crispy pata, so we decided to go this filipino place which we have tried years ago n remembered it being okay. Friendly staff and everything. When we got there this not so nice lady had a long face, from the gecko didn't say happy Father's Day nothing. And not a single smile I saw on her face. Anyways, FOOD was 6/10... I was disappointed it could have been better. Halo halo was a major fail they need to go back to their roots and see how to make basic halo halo. It was disappointing. Not coming back. I'm sorry. They need to re evaluate their cooking skills being Filipinos. We are knowns to have the best tasty foods. So I give this place 7/10... service 6/10...ambiance 5/10.

We went here on a quest to try something new and found Strita here on Yelp. It did not disappoint! The restaurant was clean and the food came quickly. We were able to order halo halo, lumpia, garlic rice, and litson kawali for under $40. More than enough food to feed us both and bring home a little extra. We asked that our halo halo be later than the food and they were on board. We will def go back!

Food is good. I recommend this if you're going to dine in. This is more like a family style dining and dining space is clean and spacious. From the past times I visited it wasn't so busy. The service was as expected but the people were nice and accommodating.

This is one unique place that functions both as a restaurant and a chocolate production facility. The owner is extremely friendly and each to talk with. He started this place as a humble chocolate production facility since his family owns a small cocoa farm in the Philippines and have grown up around chocolate production. The place expanded to offer authentic Pilipino food in recent years. Their prices are shockingly low, yet the quality and the taste of the food are fantastic. The portions are generous. The inside of the restaurant is also very clean. I would recommend taking the whole family here and I will be returning as well in the near future.

Utensils are out in water, just like in the Philippines. Unlike the Philippines, the water is heated.

I come back to this restaurant per request of my parents. My dad likes coming here for their chopsuey. The vegetables are fresh and cooked perfectly. I have ordered sinigang, bicol express and their kare-kare. All the entrees come with servings of rice (2-3 portions). The dishes are meant to be served family style so that you can share the dishes. They have a little sauce bar to pair your food with your favorite sauce whether that's soy sauce, vinegar, etc. The only reason why I give this place 3/5 stars is due to the owner's attitude. I ordered a lechon kawali kare-kare and lechon kawali was brought out, no kare-kare. When I mentioned to her that the order was incorrect, she argued with me that is what I ordered. I told her that we did order it but she must have not heard us. Instead of trying to mitigate the order, she continued to argue with us that we did not order it. It took another worker to pull her aside to prevent her from arguing with us further. We could hear her keep trying to justify that we did not order correctly. The worker tried to offer the correct order to us, but we declined. We did not want to argue any further and just eat our meal at this point. The restaurant looks in good shape and has good Filipino food. They could use improvement on their service. We will likely be back per request of my parents but otherwise I would avoid if I don't need to eat here.
