I love this spot so much! Great gluten free options and my favorite is their curried chicken salad sandwich. I recently tried it on a flatbread and wow, it was so delicious! Highly recommend read more

Food was fine but the service needs work. I went in with a party of 6 for brunch one Sunday visiting friends in the area. Not being from Orange County I couldn't help but feel the ambiance, menu, and prices on the menu seemed exceedingly Orange County. One thing I noticed right away when ordering was that the pretentious cashier would immediately ask everyone in my party who requested that a menu item be modified, "Have you had it before?" No chili flakes on your avocado toast? "Have you had it before?" No tomato on the egg and bacon sandwich "Have you had it before?" No sweet potatoes in the breakfast burrito, "Have you had it before?" My assumption was this was the owner and he was getting peeved that someone is messing with the perfection that is his masterly crafted menu. But I'm sorry guy, sometimes you know you don't like sweet potatoes in your burrito, which is why that's what my girlfriend was trying to order. We pay and sit down and when the food is brought out the waitress asks who ordered the breakfast burrito. My girlfriend asked if it was the one with or without sweet potatoes as someone else ordered one standard. She wasn't sure, but when she got the second batch of plates she had the receipt and said only one burrito, standard, was ordered. We looked at the receipt and sure enough the guy didn't charge us for the sweet potato-less burrito. The waitress then told her she would have to go back to the counter, wait in line, and order her food. When she got back and our food continued to cool, she even mentioned how the guy was apologetic because he, of course, remembered she was the person who definitely did order a burrito without sweet potato. One does not simply forget such an insult, no doubt. There was no communication problem on our end, it seems he just forgot to input the order because he got distracted unnecessarily questioning her about her order. I really don't think this would have happened if the guy was more chill about people's ordered and just inputted them in the machine as they placed them. People have dietary restrictions, or can just be picky, and its a foolish thing to push back against. But the reason for the 2 stars is that they actually made her go back in line and order. I know a lot of places where with a party of 6 they would have just given the person the benefit of the doubt and ordered up the missing item free of charge so that they could all eat warm food together and not be further delayed. I know even more restaurants where they would have at least done this and then had the waitress run the card to the counter and do the transaction for them if they couldn't afford to hand out free food to compensate for mistakes. Or the guy, upon realizing that it was totally him to screwed this up and understands the inconvenience of her having to leave her party and stand in line again, could have made it on the house. But that's not how these guys roll. read more

Updating my review. Went to Lola's today w friends and there are many issues plaguing this establishment. 1. The line to order is ginormous with only one very, slow person working the register. It took people 15-20 mins to place order and sit. This is unacceptable in my opinion. When busy you need two folks working register. 2. Breakfast burrito ordered appears to be cooked earlier then placed in heating oven? It is super dry, crumbly and very little taste. As I was sitting there disappointed in the burrito, the cook walked out with a freshly cooked burrito to eat on the patio. It looked completely different than what was given to me. 3. To get coffee refill is another 75 cents. Really?? Changes need to be made. Taste ALL your breakfast items. Cook it fresh!!!! read more

Went for breakfast Saturday morning and had a Chicken Curry sandwich. It was very tasty and service was great!

Calm hidden corner, good food. Make sure checking their work hours before going there. Definitely amazing coffee and bites.

Breakfast Burrito was delicious. The ladies who served the food were so nice and welcoming. A pleasant lunch.

This place used to be good when it was in the original location. When I went back to the new location I didn't enjoy the food. Also had a pretty long wait for the food. Latte was just okay. It has a cute outside sitting area though read more

Nice little place with good quality coffee and food. Staff are pleasant. Ambiance is cute

My daughter took me here this morning. I am so glad I finally got the chance to try their Nitro Cold Brew. With her recommendation I added honey vanilla to the coffee. Yummy! Add some half and half, so good. Our area is in need of a local coffee shop/cafe, other than Starbucks. The cafe is clean, staff is very friendly. This is going to be my new weekend coffee stop. read more

Lola's Cafe - Nitro Cold Brew with Honey Vanilla and Half & Half - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Ladera Ranch, California

Grabbed breakfast here after visiting a friend in Mission Viejo based off Yelp suggestion for vegetarian breakfast. Got the Lola's Breakfast Burrito sans the turkey bacon. Free range eggs, sweet potato, gruyere, Pico de Gallo, sombal aioli on a spinach tortilla. It was served piping hot and much quicker than the 20 minutes they told me when I ordered. Delicious, healthy, savory, different. Ingredients were super fresh, and the tortilla was just a little crispy... yum! Only thing is the burrito was on the small side and was served solo, so I was still a little hungry when I left. Little disappointing for the price. I was there around 10:15 (on a Saturday) and was about the 3rd person in line. By the time my food came, line was out the door! If I'm ever in Mission Viejo again, I'd stop by Lola's to try other things on the menu. read more

Great little coffee shop with excellent food and sandwiches. Also, has great staff definitely a must try.

Always good food. Service was great. Cute spot that never disappoints 10/10 stars. :)

I've visited Lola's several times and been extremely pleased. My favorite go to has always been the breakfast burrito. Went today, first time in over a year. Looking at the description of my fave burrito, had changed a bit since the last time, so I had to ask for arugula on my burrito. Still, no biggie. Ok, burrito time. It tasted nothing like it had in the past, way too much bacon, no pico, or none I could taste or see, egg WAY overdone! It used to be served poached, barely any cheese. I didn't even finish it because it was so bland. I have met Lola once. She seemed very proud of her restaurant and at that time, it really showed. She put out a great product. Someone needs to let her know, pandemic or not, her product needs to go back to how it was before. read more

Was here yesterday and happy to discover a healthy lunch place. I am a healthier eater than my husband and it is always nice to find a variety of options in sandwich shops. Because I don't do deli meat. He loves it. Lola's has vegan options too ! The very best pastries. I had there curry chicken sandwich and the toasted bread was amazing and the sandwich tasty tasty! Homemade pickles to boot!! Everything was great here. read more

Yes this is a fun little cafe. I recommend to anyone looking for a well thought out menu.

I waited at the till for 5 minutes, clearly waiting to order- they have a screen in the front and just look at that so I start trying to order but it still wouldn't let me. There are two workers who I made eye contact with and saw me struggling to order. After waiting for 10 minutes with 2 baristas in front of me, still no one helped. I dropped the pastries I was holding and just left. Awful service. Dont come here. read more

Nice place was in twice same day. Dropped my dog off next door to be groomed. Had coffee and a blueberry muffin in the morning. Was taste and staff pleasant. Came back during the lunch rush and standing room only. Has to be good if that busy and full. I read some lower reviews on this place. Can't be bad if the community is all here!! Lots of local close options around here. Anyways had another muffin :) read more

Some great food with really great staff, located right across the big church, vegan options available.

WOW WOW WOW!! This place is so cute and satisfies your coffee and lunch desires! I got the avocado toast and it was a little too crunchy but still all the flavors blended really nicely! My mom got the egg and bacon sandwich she said it was fabulous! The dirty chia was also very good! I would definitely recommend! The service was friendly and helpful! The food is consistently good and the coffee is even better. Busy but you can usually find a seat. Staff and owner are nice and helpful.

I got the breakfast burrito here, and I'm happy to say that I liked it.m, personally the best part of it was the stellar quality of the ingredients. Another plus of this place was the service, the cafe was well run and I had friendly interactions with staff members. read more

I have lived in ladera for about 15 years and have been to all the local spots including this one, many times. Lola's is quaint and has some decent food. Now let me preface this review with this--I understand we are on COVID 19 right now and I'm grateful for local businesses and try to support them whenever I can, wherever I am. However, we've been in this situation for almost two months now and I'm surprised this place has not gotten their act together by now. We came in today, granted it was Mother's Day, but it was a disaster. The line was out the door with people placing and picking up orders and there were far too many people inside. The owner was present and then took off and left his staff alone to run the show. We waited in line for 25 minutes just to get coffee for take away. There was no order or organization in the order and pickup areas, it was absolute chaos. At one point, there was nobody working the coffee bar for over ten minutes, so naturally the drinks were extremely delayed. I suggest that management should be are prepared and/or organized, especially for a holiday, if they choose to stay open. My biggest complaint is that there were not enough staff to fulfill the orders and TAKE the orders at the counter. Also, customers were just walking around, in and out, all over the place while cutting in front of people or butting in, delaying everyone else in line. I left one "extra" star instead of the lowest rating because the coffee was good. read more

I never heard of this place but certainly glad u stumbled across it via Grubhub. The ratio of turkey and veggies to bread is perfect, not to mention the size of the sandwich. The garlic mayo tastes amazing and the bread as fresh baked, super soft and the crust crispy. I also ordered the homemade lavender lemonade which is really good. Lastly, it dame with homemade pickles which were delicious. read more

Best cafe in Ladera Ranch. Eclectic atmosphere and food with many delicious and healthy options. Staff is very friendly.

Fresh, fresh, fresh. Organic, organic, organic! Owner operated with quality service and food. The down side is the wait time on orders when it's busy, 30mins for us. The food was yummy excellent! Because I have a special diet, there are not many outside options. However, this place made me happy. There was healthy Whole Foods to order and eat. There needs to be more cafe places like Lola's! I ordered the quinoa, baby spinach, butternut squash bowl and the kids Nutella flatbread. Both great hits for our tummies! read more

Frankly overpriced, would not be my choice because I make much better avocado toasts at home.

Food never changes and its okay. Good the first time but not a regular spot as the menus is tiring and average.

Food, service and ambiance was all perfection! Lattes, breakfast and pastries are our favorites.

Love the food and service. Great menu choices and the owner always helps me pick my coffee.

Cute coffee place with large food menu. Gluten free options made it perfect for us! Bbq chicken flatbread with gluten free crust was delicious! read more

I have been a regular for years, despite being overpriced, I've had mostly good experiences and it being local was important. Went the other day with friends and ordered my usual egg & avo smash deconstructed to enjoy on the outside patio. I raved on about it so much that my friends ordered the same, what they gave us was an egg with a bit of guac in a takeout container without the bed of greens. Went to request a bowl with greens for all 3 of us and was presented with a less than accommodating "here's your bowls". Such a let down and super disappointing. This was an $80 brunch I will never forget. read more

Matt, Thank you for your prompt reply. I did note that it was not traditional French toast but again what I got was doughy and seemed under cooked. Given the reply from your staff in regards to the drink made me less inclined to even bring up the rest of the issues we encountered that morning and decided to leave leaving the entirety of the French toast mess and half the burrito. Im glad you're bringing things up to your staff perhaps you could have a chat on being more courteous and customer centric. read more
