This place is a 10/10. Usually there is one or two dish that failed but they were all Solid. The waitress and the ambiance were 10/10. I love it!

Came for a small group bday brunch and loved everything about this place. The service was wonderful and very attentive, all of the menu items were delicious. Plenty of seating option (tables, bar, and patio options), and a beautiful interior and exterior. I will definitely coming back to try the dinner menu!!

Lola was a spot I had high hopes for and felt like it was just a bit lack luster, unfortunately. Its location and ambiance is great and our service was good. The food always felt like there was something missing and didn't leave us with anything we felt would be memorable once we left the table. We got the Papas Bravas, Pan Tumaca, Croquettes (which had a chicken filling), Crispy Pork, and Chicken. Along with that we got a glass of the chilled red blend & Tempranillo which were delicious. Comparable to other Nashville spots at a similar price point, nothing that we got shocked us or really made us wanting more. The Pan Tumaca was soggy, which was shocking as we were some of the only diners in the restaurant at this point. The Chicken sat on a cold vegetable puree and the lemon butter sauce was hidden behind the peppers blended into the vegetable puree. The Crispy Pork was good but had a watery tartar sauce and the apple slaw really just tasted like cabbage lightly pickled. To add to our mediocre experience, the social hour advertised all across their website was not reflected in the receipt for the items we ordered on it. I will also note, their menu appears to have changed quite a bit in the last year to two years so many photos of their food available online doesn't reflect what's available today. The menu online was 99% accurate though! Lola has great potential, but the food is simply not worth it for me to return.

Still one of the best small plates restaurants in Nashville! Lots to sample, the Crispy Artichokes and Coquettes have lots of textures and subtle flavors. Make sure to ask about the croquette filling, it varies. The Albondigas are done perfectly, served with a light curry. The Basque Cheesecake tastes like a Creme Brûlée. Service at the bar was good. The interior is bright and minimalist; the background sound is loud.

Lola is a very sweet spot with nice ambience! The starters and desserts were stellar. We had the croquettes and the artichokes which were recommended by our server, both were very satisfying and tasty. For dessert we did the flourless chocolate cake with olive oil and sea salt, I'm still dreaming about the creamy texture beautifully complimented by the elegant toppings! Unfortunately we weren't as thrilled with our entrees, the pork and the chicken both lacked flavor and punch. Our meal also took over 2.5 hours start to finish, it felt less like our server was giving us room to breathe and more like we were forgotten about at some times. I'd return for drinks and apps or a sweet nightcap!

Well, this place is just GORGEOUS. As soon as I walked in, I fell in love with the beauty and then proceeded to fall in love with the food. Our server was excellent - answered all of our questions, provided his recommendations for food and drinks, and was on point with his rounds. We ordered a LOT of food for our party of six and it was just so much fun. Thankfully my team understands my need (and love) of taking photos of food, so I got some really good ones :) The tapas are a decent size for the price and everything is delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my cocktail - naturally I had to order a second one. I think that we all had our favorite dishes but overall, there was nothing we didn't like. I will say that the cobbler dessert was a little disappointing considering how phenomenal the description was, but otherwise we had no complaints. Lola - I will be back and I cannot wait for round 2!

This was a real treat! Delicious tapas, great service and atmosphere. We sat outside on the patio, even though it was a very hot evening we were comfortable and didn't feel hot. It's pricey and not a lot of food but what you are served is outstanding. My favorite was the sardine tapas, it's excellent! The mediterranean salad was good but not outstanding. Our server was exceptional! I will definitely be back!

I visited Lola for social hour tonight, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. I was greeted warmly and immediately and opted to sit at the bar. Kieran was our bartender and was super friendly and attentive. There were so many wonderful options that I was indecisive, and his recommendations were phenomenal. I started with a margarita, and my date started with an old fashioned. Both were great. For our entrees, we did shrimp ceviche, croquetas, manchego plate, and papa bravas. All were absolutely delicious. The shrimp ceviche was so light and refreshing and was my favorite of the four tapas we tried. It has been a long week, and I found the atmosphere at lola to be very calming. It's a beautiful restaurant. Parking isn't great, but I feel like that's to be expected in Sylvan Park. After driving around for a few minutes, we were fortunate to find street parking super close by.

Lola is a very cute Spanish wine bar that just recently opened. Great happy hour drinks and snacks at the bar from 4-6 daily. Drinks were great! The bartender made a great old fashioned. My date had the margarita which was also very good. Food wise the croquettes were amazing! The shrimp ceviche was also very good but could of used a few more of the plantain chips. We also had a small charcuterie plate which was great. Parking is very limited. Maybe 2 spots on the side and 8 spots in back. Murphy road does have plenty of street parking but you'll have to walk a little.

Came here with a friend! It was lovely and such a nice neighborhood gem. Our server was amazing and had the best recommendations! The Paloma was great. Highly recommend the Arugala salad and croqueta.

Jamon toast - incredible. A must order.

I had heard mixed things about this place from friends, but was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my meal here. Parking is a bit annoying in this area, and I finally caved and paid to park in a lot that was close (but luckily it wasn't too pricey.) The ambiance here is upscale, but the vibe inside is very "friends and loved ones gathering at a neighborhood hang," which made it feel casual and low-key, and I really liked. I walked in on a Thursday night with no reservation and had no trouble getting a seat at the bar. It definitely fills up more as it gets later in the evening, but I doubt I'd ever be vying to find a seat here. Sarah, the bartender was peak amazing service. She was knowledgeable about drinks and food and I didn't have a single bad order going largely with her recommendations. The Jámon Toast is a MUST order and is apparently new to the fall menu. Much lighter than I thought it would be, with a perfect blend of sweet, savory, soft, chewy textures. The crispy artichokes were super light and I devoured them, but I thought the sauce was a little heavy-handed with the lemon and wish it were served on the side. The charcuterie had some hits and misses to me -- the tapenade was just not good, for example, but the chorizo was unreal tasty and the walnuts were perfectly lightly candied. The wine selection is amazing here, and I wish they had at least a house red and house white on their social hour menu. My only real regret was that I didn't get dessert (was too full). But all in all, I really loved having an incredibly leisurely meal here and would recommend it as a great place to bring your parents or have a fun night with girlfriends.

I have been in search for a good tapas restaurant in Nashville and Lola is just that! Everything we ordered was delicious - we got the crispy artichokes, arugula salad, croquetas, foccacia, chicken skewers and papas bravas. All of the dishes were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the service was friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Puff potatoes & steak sandwich bites! Both 10/10.

Least favorite- empanadas (so crispy and would've loved if I got them first but they were last so we had tried way better ahead of time) super plain not much in the filling. -salmon (incredible and unlike any sashimi ive ever had so bright. My boyfriends favorite and he doesn't really like seafood) -broccolini- perfectly roasted and sauce added so much flavor. -Lomo- I don't love pork usually and this was incredible. So soft and tender and the sauces were so creamy and savory. -rellenos- wow. These are amazing I want a bowl of them and want to try to recreate. So creamy and fluffy and decadent and tangy and I think hit every flavor profile these were insane. - cheesecake. Eh. It was a good cheesecake. The Dulce de leche was good but didn't taste as unique as you'd think since it had black garlic. Wouldn't feel the need to get again. Forgot what the cocktail was called but it was amazing as well.

A friend who knows this spot well reserved a table for 2 on a Thursday night and I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. Each dish is thoughtfully presented with fresh table settings between courses. The menu descriptions depict the basic concept of a dish, but there are always surprises in the flavor combinations, textures, or unique preparation of otherwise common ingredients that keep you guessing from first sip to last bite. I ordered the cold brew tonic mocktail which was perfectly balanced with a tonic forward bold yet smooth flavor. The beet is presented in a spiral of ribbons and tastes mildly spicy from the habanero. The endive was one of my favorite dishes of the night. The onions and creamy foam join the crunchy endive to form the perfect bite. The scallop was tender, sweet, floral, and never ending due to its enormous size! The chewy rice cakes and broth were the comfort food I didn't know I needed The octopus was oh-so-crispy and served with an addicting sauce. The marzipan donut was delightfully chewy, salty, and sweet while the salted raspberry was tart but balanced by the white chocolate cream and sugary flakes of crispy nori. Ordering both desserts was not a mistake and I will probably repeat this decision when I inevitably come back! I was told the sauce served with the octopus has recently changed. I can't wait to see what else the chef has up his sleeve on future iterations of this ever evolving menu.

But the point of this dish is to get your digestive juices going, enhancing the experience of the meal. We had the Spanish tortilla with ailoi, which was silky in texture and packed with flavor. Next was the shrimp wrapped in santa leaf with wasabi bearnaise. The santa leaf had a slight licorice or root beer flavor. The smoked tuna was our least favorite. We didn't ask many questions, and didn't know what to expect. I think the process of smoking the tuna may have changed the texture in a way that we were not prepared to enjoy smoked raw tuna, but I believe this may be a personal preference. The cut of tuna was smooth and the jalapeño foam was bright and delicious. The endive was a flavor packed dish, and one of our favorites. I strongly suggest the endive. The octopus was crispy on the outside, firm on the inside but not chewy. The passionfruit sauce added a sweet and tart flavor while the avocado helped balance the passionfruit. Next was the iberico solomillo. It was definitely the tenderloin, so tender and full of flavor. The potato chips added crunch and saltiness that I appreciated. The chili peanut sauce was a great addition. The restaurant itself was a little dark and maybe a little loud upon arrival, but seemed to have quieted some after sitting down at our table. The staff was friendly. We didn't ask many questions as we were in a mood to just let the restaurant take the lead. We enjoyed our meal overall.
