    Arroz chaufa

I'm giving this place three stars only because the portion is good and the service is not bad other than that well that's it! We arrived about 30 minutes before they closed and we ordered quick because we knew we arrived late. The drinks were not bad but I felt the chicha was missing something. Maybe the pineapple or the apple? Not sure but when the arroz chaufa arrived it just did not have the Peruvian taste. It was salty, not spicy enough and it was missing some seasoning. I tried my husbands lomo saltado and it wasn't bad but it just did not taste peruvian. I know this because I'm from peru therefore I know the authentic taste, the homemade taste and the close to original taste. Well none of the dishes we ordered fit into those categories. As I said the portion was good and the service was great but that's it for this place.

Disclaimer: I've always thought to get 5*, everything has to be perfect. A 4* review means damn good food that I would come back for. 3* means I may come back, depends on what was lacking. Anything less than that and I probably won't be back. Panca has been on our list of places to check out for a while and we finally got to it tonight. It's nestled into a corner in the same shopping plaza as Plaza Mariachi. This was my wife's and I first time trying Peruvian food and Panca did not disappoint. My wife ordered a Michelada which was the best one she's had in Nashville. Honestly, it was so good I ended up getting one too. The food was fantastic too. I ordered the Pollo Saltado, which was flavorful and salty (in a good way). I thought the fries with the rice and chicken was a little of an odd pairing, but the fries on the bottom that soaked in the sauce from the Saltado were fire. My wife ordered the Aji de Gallina, which was creamy, with chicken and potatoes playing off each other well. Overall, I'd give it a 4.5/5 if Yelp would let me.

Went on a Sunday evening for dinner and it wasn't very busy so we got seated right away. Our waitress was not very helpful or friendly she seemed like she was ready to go home. The pisco sours we're very good. We ordered our food and it came out fairly quickly. The ceviche jalea dish was suppose to be a mix of both dishes but the jalea only had the fried calamari, the rest of the seafood and the red onion on top was missing. The ceviche mild and not spicy and they didn't ask if I wanted it spicy or not. The lomo juice wasn't juicy it was a bit thick and creamy which was odd. Overall, not a terrible spot, but not great either.

Same review as before- food will be good. Service will be lacking. I literally go in here when it's barely any customers and still get minimal service which is unfortunate but the food had me come back! Shout out to whoever is in the kitchen!

The food was amazing. Authentic Peruvian cuisine. The staff was super friendly. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. The art on display was great and showcased the culture. Prices were reasonable. We got the chicken, black beans, fried rice, and plantains. To say we were stuffed was an understatement. We had plenty to take home. I highly recommend this place and I can't wait to go again.

I stumbled upon this place by accident and clearly was lost lol I didn't know whether to wait to be seated or just to seat myself and on the top of that I didn't realize that you have to pay and then get your food. Well duh... a girl at the cash register didn't make me feel awkward about that, she seated me, got me a menu. brought my food and water and was so very sweet. I wish I asked her name.

Amazing. My husband ordered ceviche. I got chicken. Generous portions and so, so, so tasty. Like off-the-charts flavor in both dishes. And my chicken was so juicy too. But the coolest thing is how wonderful the staff was. Excellent service. Why can't people just be as nice as the folks at Panca? The world would be a happier place.

Panca is bringing a taste of the Andes to the South and this excites me. After a failed attempt at finding food at Plaza Mariachi (not the place to go during covid times) we ended up at Panca which ended up being the best unintended meal I've had in ages. We started off with mango margaritas after I tried looking for Pisco Sours on their bar menu sign but did not see it (lost a point for not having this famous Peruvian cocktail). The margaritas weren't too strong but still good. For food I got one of my all-time faves which is Lomo saltado. They definitely did it justice and the portion size was large so I ended up getting a box for some of my meal. My friend enjoyed the a lo pobre which was fries, steak with a fried egg, plantains and rice. For those who have never had Peruvian it is a flavorful experience but is not like eating other South American cuisine because of the Asian and native influences. The atmosphere here is very casual but the food is good and the service was efficient. I would definitely come back here!

Going to Panca is always great! I love the food there. The roasted chicken is alway my go to with plantains and fried yuca. This time, we also tried ethe aji de gallina and it was super good. It was very creamy and a good portion size. There are a lot of options, there is not a menu for only vegerations but there are a lot of options that can be alternatives for vegetarians. I alway love getting Inca cola they always serve them very cold which is great!

The food here is phenomenal! Until today, I have never tried Peruvian food. Based on the reviews, I ordered Arroz con Mariscos and Aji de Gallina. Arroz con Mariscos is paella, a tomato rice dish with an assortment of seafood and shellfish. Aji de Gallina is shredded chicken in a creamy pepper sauce with soft potato slices, served with rice. Both come with a spicy green sauce on the side if you want to add a kick to your meal. Definitely order these if you want to try something new and are not sure what to order. As for the service, our waitress served us fast and was very polite. You pay at the register when you are done. Most dishes are around $15-$25. I can't wait to come back to try more!

Dry personality, Lomo was more like stir fry than anything else and the worst part of it is that THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY INCA COLAs!!

Welp we done did it. We found them. The best effing fish tacos in Nashville live at Leche de Tigre…read more I didn't believe it at first. I've been around. I've had ceviche here... good ceviche, solid ceviche, ceviche that will do the job if you're suddenly hit with a lime-and-fish craving in East Nashville. If you want the real ceviche crown though, that still belongs to Limo Peruvian Eatery down the street (imho). But let's stay focused here, because what Leche de Tigre has mastered are tacos with fish inside of them. One visit a few weeks ago, in a moment of weakness, I ordered the fried rice. It was fine. Not bad, just... fine. I spent that entire meal staring longingly at Sam's plate of fish tacos like a man who knows he has chosen poorly. She offered me one bite. That bite haunted me for days. So today, sweet redemption. We returned. On a Tuesday. And by some cosmic alignment of fortune, it was Taco Tuesday. Normally $9 for two, today they were $6.99 for two. I don't know if this deal happens every Tuesday, but on this Tuesday, I felt blessed by Paco the god of the taco. And the tacos? These tacos were transcendent. Crispy fish that somehow stayed light, a burst of flavor that didn't just hit your tongue but rewrote your afternoon plans and maybe your life story? Tacos that made me question every other taco I've ever eaten. Nashville, I'm sorry. I didn't know it could be like this. Leche de Tigre sits inside The Wash, which is basically an outdoor food court for adults who still want to feel cool. If fish tacos aren't your thing (which begs the question: are you okay?), you can wander into Cuban food, Vietnamese, fried chicken, pho, and other distractions. But for the love of all that is crispy, order the fish tacos. Four stars for the menu as a whole. Five stars for the tacos. Average it out however you want, but I'm coming back for those tacos.
