Limo Peruvian Eatery is officially one of the absolute best restaurants in Nashville! Finding something truly unique in the local dining scene can be tough, but this spot completely delivers. It gives you incredible quality and vibrant flavors without the stuffy, eye-watering prices of a typical high-end restaurant. The Highlight: You cannot skip the grilled Spanish octopus. Hands down, it is the best in town--tender, perfectly charred, and full of flavor. No one else can touch it! Wonderful service. This is a wonderful Peruvian restaurant in Nashville. Don't go here expecting a burger. Four of us had dinner here and we all thought the same thing, wonderful! I can't pronounce a lot of what we had but I can say it was delicious. This is different wonderful food. Lomo Saltido, Arroz con Mariscos, Anticichos, A lo Macho, Lomo Mar y Terra were some of what we had and I'd recommend them all! As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'
I eat out A LOT & this has to be one of my Top 5 Restaurants in Nashville. I review 3 Nashville restaurants each week on IG Lillypulitzerstylist Impeccable presentation by Chef Marcio & attention to detail. Warm hospitality from his wife, Valerie, and all the servers checked on us. And the best part? All the tables around us were interacting. A sense of community. If you're a foodie, you have to try Limo. Known for its ceviche and lomo saltado, The scallops? Served in actual seashells. Every plate feels like a work of art. I don't drink so I ordered a mango mocktail. It's like a mango ginger ale. The tuna sashimi ceviche with mango mousse was hands down the most COLORFUL, vibrant dish I've ever seen -- almost too pretty to eat If you can't decide, order the LIMO PLATTER so you can try a little bit of everything. The chicken salad tower in the middle was not only exquisite, it was delicious. And the pork? The rice. The white fish. Delicious. The platter was my favorite thing. Chef Marcio is insanely talented you can taste the love in every single bite. We finished our culinary journey with flan & a sundae.
Went with some friends who were regulars, or at least been there a few times and raved about it. My wife and I both enjoy diversity and trying new places and limo did not fail! For starters the place has a great vibe intimate, but big enough for a warm crowd. All the service was spot on, from the bartender who made our drinks as we waited for a table to the staff who served us. And finally, the food was outstanding everything we had, especially my ceviche was world class. The big surprise of the night was the pork belly absolutely the best and most creative take on it I've had in a long time. We'll be going back.
OMG why did it take me so long to get here?! Was on my list for a while but just didn't make it a priority. Went on Easter Sunday for a different meal and HOLY MOLY I was blown away. From the house made juices to the fantastic pesto and steak to their corn nuts (I'm actually kinda obsessed) this was an amazing dinner. We had plenty to take home so I had it for two additional meals. This has made my list of top places in Nashville!
So the staff was super friendly and attentive. I arrived before the dinner rush so not too packed or loud. But beware, there seemed to be a bit of a wait once the 7 o'clock hour hit. But I enjoyed the dining experience. The bar tender let me know the restaurant started as a food truck and has been around as a brick and mortar location for about 20 months. They start you with a tray of corn nuts for the table. Nice snack. The food portions on my entree were large. I got the aji de gallina and it was tasty. I had the option to add spice but was not looking to. The dish did lack in flavor just a bit but that did not stop me from enjoying the dish. The homemade passion fruit juice was a nice compliment to the meal. I would come back and try more of the menu.
Came back and tried the tallarines verdes and it was decent! The limo is still my favorite. The Tallarin Saltado is pretty good too!
Definitely recommend making reservations. Very popular and busy place! There was a line when we got there on a weekend and most tables taken. Greeted and attended by this really nice person (didn't catch her name). They had our table ready and Vanessa was our waitstaff and she was fantastic. All their staff was great! Highly recommend their pisco sour. Very light and refreshing. Started with Peruvian roasted corn (it's comp) and addicting. We had the trio ceviche which was outstanding. Fresh fish and flavors, and all district. For dinner split the lomo saltado (beef) with fries. Opted for fried egg with it and make sure you do. My SO thought it was a bit on the sweeter side but I thought it was great when you ate it with the rice and egg. Also got a side of Yucca and sauce - delicious but we were full when they hit the table. Portions are generous and food is delicious. Had a red sangria and that was just okay, should have gone with another pisco! We were celebrating a birthday and they brought our vanilla ice cream on a cute plate with a BD greeting, it was tasty but we were pleasantly stuffed from the meal. Fun place to eat and great staff! There is street parking but definitely gets tougher to find as the night goes on.
Authentic Peruvian fare in a casual interior. The staff are very kind and generous and very passionate about the food. I loved the crunchy corn snacks and juice samples served in the beginning. The portions are also HUMONGOUS and the dishes and stunning and colorful. If I go again I will absolutely split something. I got the Ceviche Clasico ($20 for all fish). This will be a hot take but, I did not like the ceviche. I'm used to ceviche being "cooked" and having a "bite", but this ceviche was completely raw and in a tart sauce - not sure if it was a different style but it was just too much sliminess for me to stomach. I want to come back for something cooked, like the Lomo Saltado. BF got the Aji de Gallina ($22) - it was extremely rich and delicious, unlike anything I've tasted before, and beautifully plated. I definitely had to take a nap after that meal, lol!
We follow @nashvillehiddengems on Instagram and he created a Nashville Restaurant Passport that included his favorites. Limo was one of the restaurants featured in the passport. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation, especially for a weekend night. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant or there is free street parking. We ordered the empanadas duo (beef and chicken), Lomo Saltado with beef and the Aji de Gallina. The portions are HUGE and everything came out piping hot. Of the two empanadas, my husband liked the beef more than the chicken. I thought they were both delicious. The beef empanada was so flavorful and the chicken empanada was almost creamy. So good. The beef was so tender and that sauce on the Lomo Saltado...I could put that on anything and everything. The chicken was absolutely craveable. It was moist and just melted into that thick, velvety sauce. If I was all alone, I might have licked the plate! The service was great even though the restaurant was very busy. They could use a busser to refill waters and clear plates. Our server was very friendly and let us know her recommendations. My husband and I are definitely going back for more!
This is genuinely one of the best meals I've ever had!! Ari was our server and she was so kind and attentive. She was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. I highly suggest this place! The portions are huge so keep that in mind when ordering but the food is so fresh and very high quality. I can't wait to go back!
The food, the staff, the service, all just fantastic. Great neighborhood near downtown, so old community ambiance. You really have to try this place. Peruvian food has its own unique take on South American food. I tried the Tallerines Verdes. It's a nice sliced steak with a pesto pasta. Truly amazing flavor. You really have to try this place.
Came here with my Peruvian friend before leaving Nashville. We were able to get a reservation the day before Mother's Day. We ordered the fish ceviche and I got the arroz norteño with chicken. They also got the octopi appetizer. We split the sundae and the cheesecake. Everything was fantastic and I had a ton of food to bring home that made several meals. Service was a little slow and I think they forgot to put our order in, but they gave us free lomo saltado because of that so I wasn't mad. Everything else was fantastic!
Limo Eatery in East Nashville just won Most Savory Dish at Second Harvest Generous Helpings fundraiser, and after loving the bite we had at that event we wanted to try the full diner. Spoiler alert. We were not let down. We started with the grilled octopus, which was excellent, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The catch of the day ceviche was fresh and bright, exactly what you want. For my entree I had the lomo saltado with beef, and the flavors were excellent across the board, that classic Peruvian stir fry hitting all the right notes. The sauce alone was worthy of a take home box. On the drink side, the pisco martini was a great pairing with the meal and a fun way to lean into the Peruvian specialties. The atmosphere is lively and energetic, which made the whole evening feel like an occasion rather than just dinner out. Parking was easy with a private lot right behind the restaurant. This one is a great addition to the East Nashville food scene and well worth the visit. read more
This is a excellent place to enjoy Peruvian cuisine. I decided to have lunch here as it is "approved" by my Peruvian friend. It was mother's day and they were very busy- so booking a table on Open Table was the right move. I love Lomo Saltado, Ceviche, Chaufa- but this time I decided to try something new and got Aji de Gallina. I love the flavor of aji amarillo and the flavor & taste were perfect. It was so delicious. It was served in a big plate and I had to save the half of it for later. Pricing on menu is slightly more than I usually spend for lunch, but here I thought it was worth every dollar! Quality and taste delivered. Last but not least, our server was wonderful! She was attentive, friendly and spoke to us in Spanish and English. What a gem in East Nashville. If you have not tried Peruvian cuisine, you just have to try it here! read more
This was our fifth or sixth time eating here, and the food is consistently excellent. The staff are welcoming and friendly. We made a reservation and were seated promptly when we arrived. Easy, free street parking out front. Some highlights - the chicha morada drink is delicious; the octopus in the pulpo appetizer was cooked perfectly; the steak in the tallarines verdes was tender and flavorful. I will continue to recommend this restaurant to friends and bring out of town guests here!! read more

Ceviche carretillero was excellent. Same flavors than Peru. The jalea was hard/dry. Nothing was crunchy or soft in that dish. The sarsa criolla had no juice and the lime that was on the side was bitter (old). The lomo saltado was good. It was juicy and had a lot of flavor. The meat was very tender. The potatoes were cooked and served different but it worked!. We ordered the jugo de maracuya and it was delicious. They gave us a tiny portion of cancha, rocoto and huacatay sauce. The place was packed but Ivory came repeatedly to our table always smiling and ready to assist. The owner also came to our table and talked to us for a bit. The chef was bringing some of the dishes to the tables. That was a nice touch. We wanted to back tomorrow to try more dishes but it will be closed tomorrow for Memorial Day. Thank you Ivory, you saved us a trip. I recommend this place. read more

I got my birthday season started right with a first-time dinner visit with my friend. The dining room is small but the layout works well. They are busy, so make a reservation. Street parking is available as well as a lot behind the building. They gave us a dessert to celebrate my birthday. Love: ceviche (refreshing, loved the shrimp & calamari); papas a la huancaina limo (delicious sauce) ; limo saltado (tender beef, fresh vegetables); service (kind, thoughtful, friendly, Valerie is wonderful! The owner stopped by to apologize for the wait because it was busy - they go the extra mile! ); Pina colada read more
Service was great! We got the anticuchos and shared a platter. 10/10 recommend! This was our first time coming in and dining, normally have pick up orders. Ambience was nice, could be dressed up or down! Our server was great and attentive. We also got a dessert, the Picarones. They were amazingggg!! read more

Wonderful Culinary experience across the menu! We choose this place to celebrate a special occasion and it exceeded our expectations. Located in the trending east Nashville, Limo is a cozy well decorated authentic Peruvian restaurant. Our large party ordered all of the chefs recommendations all were excellent. The quality of the seafood comes across in traditional Peruvian dishes, including octopus, shrimp fish and mussels. A few high lights were the Chaufo de pollo, lomo saltad, chupe seafood soup and the ceviches. The food is flavorful, portions are large, and presentation is beautiful. You'll love this spot for any occasion. read more
I loved the food from the Inka Trailer, so when I heard they were launching Limo, I had to try it. Now it's in my regular rotation for family, celebrations, or just a romantic dinner. The ceviche is a must order for any table. Round it out with a chaufa (I usually get the veggie version) and the jalea, which highlights perfectly fried seafood. On cooler evenings, try a soup. The flavors and freshness make everything I've tried a real hit. Best of all, it's consistently high quality. Finally, servers are always helpful and knowledgeable when I want to try something new. This is a foodie must try and I'm thrilled we have top notch Peruvian food in Nashville again. read more

Service was prompt and friendly! I love the set up of the space-- very cute and not cramped (considering the limited space) The drinks were the perfect balance of fruity to alcoholic-- I especially LOVED the food !! I'm vegetarian and haven't tried Peruvian food before since it's usually seafood predominant. They have several vegan options that were delicious, creamy, and plentiful! Would definitely recommend ! read more
In a few words: you need to visit Limo! This has been by far the best and most authentic Peruvian place in town. Parking - hard to find around so plan ahead to spend a few minutes driving around. We didn't make a reservation but it was just 3 of us. The host immediately acknowledged us and made us feel welcome. Service was also the best, they offer appetizers and suggestions. We had the platter and if this is your first time trying Peruvian food this is perfect options. You can try small portions of several of their staple plates. Price is very reasonable for the portion size and most importable the taste. I will definitely be back. read more

The ceviche is amazing! I also recommend the Tallarines Verdes. The service was good and is a great place for a date or group dinner. I think it's a rare thing to find a restaurant that lives up to the hype it gets online. The statement applies even more-so to our current Nashville food scene where every internet influencer/foodie is dying to tell you about the must visit hidden gem that is the most mediocre over priced management group fare you'll ever have the dishonor of paying for. Limo is an exception. They put in the work as a beloved food truck in the area, opened a brick & mortar last year, & were recognized as one of the best new restaurants for their effort. What you get here is delicious & appropriately portioned food in a no frills environment that has zero pretentiousness to it. Service is great, drinks are affordable, food is crave worthy. It's all you could ask for. Came here on a cold icy Saturday with a party of 4. We did not feel rushed at any point to get up & leave even when were finished & talking, which I appreciate when it's not really busy & the table has spent several hundred dollars on dinner. I tried the Limo Saltado with beef, veal heart skewers, & both of the empanadas choices. Everything was great to exceptional. The empanadas were some of the best I've had anywhere outside of South America. The veal heart skewers should NOT be missed & the saltado leftovers were even better for lunch the next day. Pisco sour was as good as the only one I've ever had before which was in Santiago at the airport. I can't wait to come back & try some different dishes. Limo deserves your business. Stop sharing the same mediocre management group owned businesses & give your money to them & like 5-7 other locally operated places that are actually good! read more

The service was great, but there wasn't a ton of options on the menu if you don't want to be adventurous. I had the Lomo Saltado and it's a TON of food so leftovers are eminent. It could be good to share too. I was glad to try it, but will try something different on my next visit with a bit more flavor read more

Limo is one of my favorite spots in East Nashville. The Nashville Hot Ceviche is seriously good, spicy, fresh, and full of flavor. I'm also a big fan of their passion fruit pisco sour. And the chicharrones acevichados are easily one of the best things on the menu. Service is always solid with friendly staff who know the menu well and are happy to help. The East Nashville location is a bonus too, perfect for walking around after you eat. read more
