Basic American diner chain food but made sloppily. The waitress was complaining about how she should be leaving 10 minutes before her shift ended to another coworker. She refused to take my order. I asked about the lunch special and she said she didn't know. Then she asked a coworker who said it ended 5 seconds ago. She came back with a grin on her face and said, sorry, it's already over and left. Completely unprofessional. The fried pickle chips (not spears) were tiny. They gave me a menu that didn't have everything on it. No mention of the real-deal meal nor American roadhouse meals. Wasn't until I asked that those menus magically appeared in the waiters hands. What kind of standard is this Logan's stooping to? I'd rather take my business to the Appleby's or Chili's down the road next time. I use to be a fan of this place. Or maybe you can only eat inside. Literally every time we place an order to go it's been messed up. Take my wife's name down wrong and the order was done and sitting there forever. Second the order slip fell on the ground and was never made. I ordered the chicken with the Caribbean sauce and specified No rice. Receive my meal and there was rice. It never fails. Also receive my baked potato with butter and sour cream all in the same small cup. With what we pay for our meals you would think that they wouldn't be so stingy on supplying the sour cream. I had to ask for another sour cream. The place certainly isn't as busy as it has been in the past and there's no wonder why since the last time we were here people have been waiting for over an hour for their steak in which they got up and left before their meals had arrived. We had a party of 9, including 2 children and we had the absolute best experience this weekend! Diamonte was our waiter and he 100% nailed every aspect of our visit. He had great interactions with the kids and remembered their names (they loved that). The food was perfect; we had steaks, salmon, shrimp, burgers and don't forget the ROLLS! We both ordered soup and his came about 5 minutes before mine even though they were both French onion. It was not very warm and was quite sweet. After waiting for quite sometime and after our waiter said 'they're playing it now', most of it came out cold. They were going to remake my husbands meal and my Broccoli. I must say disappointed from the beginning. Sat down to a sticky table. We're given plates for dinner rolls that were dirty, then, later had to ask for the dinner rolls because we never received them. Ordered are drinks and an appetizer with our entrees.. The crew tents were stale., the mozzarella cheesesteaks we asked for marinara and ranch didn't receive the ranch until we were halfway through the mozzarella sticks. The chicken did not look cooked. We were told it was smoked, and it looks that way. We did speak to a manager.She took care of some of it. We ordered a dessert to go, which included ice cream that they did not put in a separate container.So by the time we got home, it was completely melted. Used the restroom before leaving.And that was disgusting. The door's entering the building or entering the bathroom.Do not feel that they have ever been washed. The service was great. But let's start with a drinks. They only served wine from a CAN. Never heard of the brand. So I opted for one of their beer specials, Sam Adams. Didn't have it OK opted for choice number 2 a Stella large. It was absolutely not Stella. It was definitely some kind of an awful lite beer and at $8.29 Menus were handed to us, but they did not list the earlybird specials. Oh, that was a separate menu. The waitress had to go retrieve. Horrible takeout experience. When I got there to pay and use my free app they told me it was not valid since I placed an online order then I showed them the fine print that said you could. Then the app was 10 cents over the requirement but thankfully the manager still let me get the free app. Then I got home and realized the meat I ordered was completely rare, they forgot both butters I ordered for the rolls and forgot the dressing for my salad that I even ordered double. Plus they added croutons to my salad when I asked for none and the queso came completely fridge cold. My husband and I almost did not go to Logan's because of the recent negative reviews we saw online. I'm so happy we decided to give it a try. The food was fabulous and the service even better. We were greeted so nicely when we arrived and our waitress Sarah was so good at her job, so sweet, so helpful. We both had dinner salad which were delicious and we both had steaks which were also great. They were cooked perfectly. I had a baked potato and broccoli also delicious and my husband loved the dinner rolls. I did too! It was a typical Logan's relaxed setting and wonderfully we were able to watch the baseball playoff game after driving 10 hours from Ontario today. Posting on behalf of my two sisters who had THE WORST experience ever: No-one go to Logans Roadbouse on Alpine! My sister and I had the WORST experience either of us have ever had at a restaurant!!! My sister ordered her buger well done, it came out rare, the waitress took it back and when it FINALLY came back it had onions and mushrooms that weren't supposed to be on it. My salmon had pieces of like 1 inch dental floss or like plastic twine or something that I only discovered after I took a bite of salmon and it was in my mouth all of this is not good, but I wouldn't post on fb over just that...it gets worse! The waitress gets pissed (at us) when we show her the burger is still not right and slaps her hands on our table and is like, "I told them to make it right. Here ya go" and leaves us the bill. My sister and I were like WTH just happened...but even that I wouldn't post on FB...it gets worse! I should mention the manager, Jeremy, came over and was going to give us a coupon for a free dessert bc of the dental floss salmon and messed up burger. I instead asked for him just to comp our two cocktails. He ended up comping my cocktail and my entire meal. Which was great. So, my sister pays for her completely messed up burger and my nephews chicken tenders. But after the waitress slapped her hands on the table and had such an attitude...we talked about it and we decided to leave no tip. We are walking out to our car and the waitress comes barreling out of the restaurant and proceeds to YELL at us and is going off about getting no tip. Keep in mind, my nephew, who is Autistic, is with us. My sister is trying to explain very calmly and patiently, in her wonderful kind way, that our customer service experience was terrible and that when she aggressively slapped her hands on the table is when she lost her tip. This waitress is going off...I pull my phone out and started recording her! She looses it even more. My sister took my nephew to the car and I went back in to talk to the manager. As I am walking in she is F-bombing me, calling me names, saying I was just trying to get free food. I walk in the front door, the waitress is behind me, the manager, Jeremy, is standing at the front desk. He sees her follow me in... hears her dropping the F-bomb...and does nothing. I tell him what just happened outside and he says he can't be sure she followed me outside or said or did any of the stuff I was saying bc he wasn't there to witness it. I said well here I recorded it, let me show you. He said he didn't want to watch the video. He said he can't control what his staff does. The waitress walks up and stands next to him and mocks me, calls me names, and drops more F-bombs. He said he didn't see anything. The hostess standing next to him just starts laughing at me. I asked for his bosses name and he got weird about telling me but finally did, Lee. It was such a terrible experience, like, beyond terrible. Eh. We had a gift card to use and after they declared bankruptcy today we thought we should use it lest we lose it. It's a chain and it met basic expectations mostly. My drink was the most watered down beverage I've ever had. Ever. My husband was brought the wrong order which they were quick to correct but could have been prevented with a little more attentiveness. I made the mistake of getting the fish and chips which were 60% very very oily batter and then flavorless fish underneath. They didn't have any malt vinegar either which could have helped cut the grease. Most of it went uneaten and unnoticed. Despite sitting at the bar there was very little service. We were never asked how things were and my empty drink sat long into dinner and beyond.... the good news is that it makes me appreciate our local places even more. read more

It was a disappointing dining experience today; certainly not one of the finest. I ordered a 11 oz. Logan along with a wood fired salmon as an accompaniment. I requested my steak to be cooked medium yet somehow it turned out to be cooked rare. The salmon was delivered cold and somewhat undercooked! The mashed potatoes with gravy were slightly cool but edible nonetheless. On the overall, I wasn't a happy camper because it has not been my experience with Logan's Roadhouse as in the past. For some reason, the cooks or chefs were not up to par and their cooking left a lot to be desired today. I hope it was an aberration on the part of this restaurant. read more

Usually the steaks are some of the best that I've had (including the higher priced downtown restaurants) but lately, they've decided to go cheaper on the quality and it shows. Service has drastically declined as well, and management seems to care less. They've mentally checked out and don't bother to visit tables anymore. read more

It took her 20 minutes to get our drinks, 25 to get soggy gross FRIED mushrooms, and 40 minutes for a WELL DONE BURGER, I ASKED FOR MEDIUM RARE!! THE LAST 4 TIMES WERE HORRIBLE AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD TWICE I WOULD BE WELCOME TO COME BACK AFTER SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY ON HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD. Didn't get rolls for 25 minutes either. Since I was going solo for Thanksgiving this year, as my SO was out of town, she thought I should treat myself with a Logan's Thanksgiving feast instead of ordering pizza (since that sounded depressing). $124 later, I was looking forward to an actual feast, not a total waste of money. I arrived 10 minutes early so it wouldn't be sitting on the counter and would be hot when I got home (less than a mile away from the restaurant). My order wasn't ready at 5, which was OK, and I was handed the food as soon as it was ready. Upon arriving home and opening the containers I found that I had no rolls, the wrong salad, the deviled eggs were an upside down mess and all of the food was cold. Definitely not worth the $124 price tag. I was going to leave it at a feedback email to corporate, but when I opened up the desert and found this "brownie desert for 8", I had to leave a review. At the end of our meal another table got the game turned on and they were cheering when someone came to turn it on, so clearly was high demand ⁃ Whenever our server came she auctioned our drinks and food off at one side of the table. - My family member received a 22oz beer instead of 16oz, was charged for the 22oz ⁃ Server barely stopped by and when she did, she didn't clear anything off the table (the empty roll basket when dropping off second basket of rolls, empty cups when finally bringing drink refills, appetizer plates etc when the meal came, none was picked up). Her nails were so long they were nearly in our food when she brought out food. ⁃ Food arrived and our server never came back to ask how the first bites were, steak was cold and I asked the host if I could get it reheated since our server was over sitting in a booth doing nothing while the person across from her rolled silverware. ⁃ The icing on the cake was when she asked if I wanted to keep my sweet potato while she reheated the steak; I said I don't have anywhere to put it. She asked the guest next to me at our table if he minded if my sweet potato could go on his plate. The whole plate was DIRTY as he had just finished his country fried steak with gravy.... Typically we'd give the benefit of the doubt and assume she was having an off day but our service was so poor that we won't be returning, and it was very clear there was no hustle or worry to provide quality service. If you were just given 3 tables and you're trying to be attentive, there'd be clear hustle and guests would have patience but it was clear the entire section was experiencing this lack of service. If the reviews are this bad, John R. keeps responding the the reviews, and there's an MOD present, you'd think they'd be walking around checking on tables to ask how their visit has been to catch things quickly and actually improve the experience & their reviews. Girl said she didn't have any even though I could see at least three available. They made me wait 15 minutes even though parties of eight were shown right in (they weren't very busy, and now I know why). Our party of three were there last Saturday, the host was friendly and the good service ended there. Our waitress took almost 15 minutes to take our food order after she got our drinks. She then brought rolls ten minutes later with no silverware, we asked 3 times for silverware, ten minutes for a pop refill, and when we finally got the food she had taken the order wrong. Arrived at 5:55 pm with party of 10. By the time food came out to the table it was 7:19 pm. My food was cold and over cooked. My daughter's food was cold. The server was working in several sections, and came to check on us three times. Upon leaving, I asked to speak to the manager. I told him how unhappy I was with the service and food quality. He said I should have made him aware sooner and he would have discounted or replaced the cold food. As a manager he should have been making the rounds checking on the customers. And since he was the working with the expediter he should have been aware of ticket times. He told me they were short staffed but that was the same explanation I was given the previous two times we went there with the same group of 10. Took my boy for lunch today. He ate chicken wings and potato skins from the sampler platter and I had the 6 ounce sirloin and baked potato. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and our server was excellent. We were put in a booth. My least favorite of a dining seats, but my kids like them so we stayed. Why anyone has booths anymore is beyond me. I survived the booth. :) Worse part of the meal was sitting close enough to the waitress station to hear arguments over why someone was given someone else's station. Apparently not visiting the table within 20 minutes isn't enough reason for some waitresses.
