This was the worst eating experience I have had in a long time. Steak was ordered medium but came out rare. I had to send it back and wait 10 more minutes. The steak was a terrible cut of meat with huge connective tissue in the center. Paid 2.69 for mushrooms with the steak and got literally one teaspoonful of mushrooms. The seasoning was awful. I literally paid just to leave. The people with me had to send back the ribs. They were so tough and you literally couldn't pull the bones apart. The management didn't seem surprised they were getting sent back. The side of gumbo for 6.99 was not gumbo it was a soup. I thought it would be a smaller portion of the larger dish. I asked the server but she indicated that no one had ever ordered a side and she didn't know. It had a good flavor but didn't come with rice. My husband visited Logan's to celebrate my husband's birthday while in town and decided to treat himself to a steak. He ordered it medium rare but as you can see from the photo, this is what he got. We're not the type to read Yelp reviews before going to a restaurant, but after this experience, I definitely will be from now on. If I had read some of the others beforehand, I would've told him to skip it altogether. The steak had to be sent back once, and then again before the manager personally recooked it. While all of this was happening, the bartender made an offhand comment about how she was excited to take the steak my husband sent back home for her dog. Strange thing to say especially now that I've seen similar reviews mentioning steaks being returned frequently. We're not usually ones to complain.. we've both spent over 15 years in the hospitality industry and know things happen, but this was just disappointing. My family went out for birthday celebration for my husband and sister sister in law Monday evening the service was great but the food was the worst I have ever experienced anywhere Jeff's steak was a filet and he ordered it medium well , the butchered it and cremated it I felt so bad he is a modest man and tried eat it . We had a late lunch here 10/11/24. We both ordered the Teriyaki Salmon & Shrimp. The rolls were amazing, and our server was phenomenal. Food was good, but the rice was crunchy and salmon was a bit overdone for us (in their defense, we didn't specify how we wanted it cooked, nor did we complain about anything.) My wife and ordered dishes that included grilled shrimp. When our food arrived, it was obvious the shrimp were not fully cooked. When we complained, our waitress immediately brought it to the attention of a manager. The manager offered to finish cooking the shrimp. Seemed they should have offered to replace the shrimp vs cooking the shrimp longer since it would be dry. But, we agreed and the manager promptly took our shrimp skewers to be further cooked. After 15 mins, our shrimp had still not been returned to our table and so we politely asked our server for our check to be discounted so we could pay and leave. I have been here before and had excellent food and service, but today my food was cold and the special on the cards on the table were misleading. I ordered the wood grilled chicken with loaded baked potato and salad and tea to drink. According to the card on the table the price was $14.99. My restaurant experience tonight was downright scary and I would be remiss to not inform management about it. We were seated in the bar section at 7:30. Approximately 10 minutes later, the waitress in the adjacent section dropped a side of ranch dressing on the floor which splattered the hallway - the hallway going to the bathroom might I add. We were at Logans for an hour and it remained on the floor the entire time we were there - that same waitress, all other employees, and customers jumping over and dodging it. I took a picture of the mess. Ridiculous and abhorrent. As for the food, my husband ordered a sirloin plate and I ordered a salad with sirloin. The differences in our steaks was obvious. Mine was grey in color and when I cut into it, it looked unnatural. I took a small bite and ended up spitting it out because it tasted funky. The steak was old/rotten yet it was still used to serve to me. I took pictures of mine and my husband's steak next to each order to prove the difference. The waitress could tell immediately when she came back that something was wrong, and she did everything she could to fix the problem. It's not her fault the cook cooked a rotten steak. She offered a substitute meat and I got grilled chicken instead. She got the salad removed by the manager and I was charged only for the chicken. I truly appreciate the waitress; however, I'm severely disappointed in the manager. I was never visited by the manager regarding this incident. I never even saw a manager the entire time I was there because I was anxious to tell him/her about the situation with the steak and the ranch on the floor. It doesn't bode well that no one cares enough to pick up ranch spilled in plain site and that spoiled meat is served to customers. Our visits here are always good. The service is great and our food is always fresh and good. No complaints from us as of late.

We were seated in the bar and asked to move to a quieter table in the dining room. The hostess threw our menus on a table just outside the kitchen next to a large group loudly celebrating a birthday,. When we placed our drink order we were told they were out of white wine. We changed our order and my vodka with soda was FLAT. I ordered a new one and the waitress brought me a sample of the soda to try it and it was also flat. I then switched to water,. The spinach dip arrived with grease floating on top and greasy chips on the side. Being hungry we managed to get it down while sipping our flat cocktails. We asked for more rolls the waitress said they were almost out of rolls and we came "just in time". When my husbands salad arrived the waitress told him they are out of croutons. This Logans take out hit all the right spots for me!!! The chopped steak meal was so hearty and filling!! I loved every bite, despite my steak not being the medium temp I originally requested. I was really impressed with how smooth and creamy the mashed potatoes were. What really set this meal over the top had to be the mushroom & onion gravy! SO, SO good!!! I am a huge fan of baked apples so having this also as a side added a nice little sweet touch to my meal! Driving from Arizona to North Carolina and this is where we stopped to eat dinner. Started off pretty good drinks and appetizer came out at a reasonable time and food took a little bit longer as it always is at restaurants. Not a problem. Waiter brought out the salad with no dressing so I asked for some and 10 minutes pass by when the waiter comes back over asking if we want more drinks to only realize she hadn't brought us dressing that we had asked for. Absolutely awful! I ordered a simple take out order of one pasta dish, salad and a strawberry lemonade. I got there when it was supposed to be ready and it wasn't. I waited another 15 minutes with people that actually came in sat down ordered food and ate as I continued to wait for my food! There were staff members walking around everywhere and yet no food. When they handed me the bag, no drink so I had to ask for it. And what I got was NOT a hand shaken strawberry lemonade. It was pink lemonade from the fountain with a strawberry syrup at the bottom! It was absolutely horrid! Then I opened the bag every single clamshell that they used to put my food in was broken! So the tops were all popped open and I couldn't shut them! How can you just hand it off like that?! The pasta was disgusting the noodles were all broken and falling apart because they were completely over cooked. The pieces of steak were so burnt and dry I couldn't even chew threw them! The salad had pieces of black lettuce! If it wasn't for the bread I would have spent $40 dollars with nothing to eat! So far not a great stop, looked busy so family stayed in car for me to run in to get wait time. Front lady was nice to figure out if they could seat a party of 3. I notice the lady who's was taking me to my table grab 3 menus I asked if the menu had the kids menu on it and she made a comment to the front lady how they have to tell if they have kids. For the rest of the month, they have a fundraiser for autism research where you can pay $10 and get your entrée for free. Since most entrées are more than $10, you can save money and contribute to a worthy cause. It's a no-brainer. They might have cheaper options than the free entrée one too, like a free desert for $5 or something like that. And speaking of saving money, if you come on a regular basis, get the Logan's app and scan all of your receipts. You get one point for every dollar in your subtotal (minus alcohol). My girlfriend and I came by to eat lunch at Logan's in Moody Alabama. When we got to the front door I didn't have a mask and so I used my extra shirt as a face covering. The young hostess informed me that I had to be wearing a mask. Please note that the patient was wearing a cloth face covering herself. The young black female waitress told me she would not seat us until I was wearing a mask. I informed her that the sign on the front entrance stated that I had to be wearing a "face covering".
