    Loaded Cheese Fries

Texas Roadhouse is my daughter's favorite steak restaurant! She always chooses here for her birthday. I've never been and not had to wait, but they usually move pretty quick so we don't wait too long. The steaks are on point, and the drinks and appetizers are amazing! It can get kind of loud, but where else can you see the staff line dance when their favorite songs come on? Sadly, the only thing I remembered to take a picture of were our cheese fries! Everything else disappeared too fast.

Went in Mothers Day and there were several people. The wait staff seemed prepared for the rush and was extremely patient and helpful. My steak was delicious however my Cesar salad wasn't that great. Overall I would definitely go back.

Believe it or not, Texas Roadhouse should get slammed for this hour and a half wait. Geesh! But, everybody was hangry and just ready, our server knew it and came out with 3 baskets of hot rolls. We added boneless wings and fried pickles. Thank you girl!!! Those yeast rolls and that cinnamon butter, calmed everybody down. We are a party of 7 and we on, ready to grub. 5 of us got the catfish with chili, Green beans, salad, and baked potato. Niece got steak skewers with seasoned rice, Yum. And, Auntie baby got beef tips and mashed potatoes. All this food good and we done forgot we were mad. We hapoy!!! To Manager D, thank you for coming around to see about. Salute Sir!

Whew! Texas Roadhouse was PACKEDDDD. The place was loud, but in a good way of people enjoying themselves. The service was great and the food was tasty. The bathrooms were clean as well. I will be back for sure!

I've never had a bad meal here nor bad service. It's a great place to go with family or friends as there is something on the menu for even the pickiest eaters. It can get kinda loud at peak times. My favorite entrees include the filet medallions with seasoned rice and the herbed chicken. The rolls are some of the best in the game. Since I usually go on Sundays, it's packed. Pro Tip: Get on the wait list on their website!

I must be on a mission to go to every single Texas Roadhouse in America. This one is located outside of Birmingham. I keep going to them because even though it's a chain, it has been consistent. The food, the setting and the employees have all been the same no matter which store you visit. This one was no exception. Noah was our server. He was an absolute joy. No matter what you asked of him, he was pleasant, courteous and attentive. The food and drinks were a bomb 10/10 as usual. Had a steak of course. Cooked to perfection. The salad and baked sweet potato is always a hit with me. I am never able to get to the dessert. Maybe one day. Please visit this location. I have to say it is in the cut on a bypass road but definitely not lacking in guests.

Texas Roadhouse is a family statement in Pelham, Al. It is usually packed, but they are just good service overall. On this day I had a fair wait, but I called to be put on the waitlist, so it was over quickly. We sat in a booth to the back of the restaurant, so it was quiet on Tuesday evening. I ordered chicken critters with a Sherley temple. With entrees you receive two sides, so I got a side salad while my friend got a side of vegetables. The amount of chicken we got was more than enough for both of us. Overall, the rolls and main entree were very good. The theme of the restaurants is always on point. The service is always on point due to the attentive servers at all times. This along with the amazing food is always a reason to keep coming back to Texas Roadhouse.

Margarita was frozen strawberry and a $5 steal! Steak was solid and veggies were fine.

First of all, many Veterans agree with my hubby that this is the place to go for a Veterans Day Special. Hubby got my identical meal as complimentary, even his sweet tea, and the restaurant had a short wait at 4:30 pm! Anyway, I had not been to one of this chain in about 4 years and left wanting to return! The food was a good 4+ but with reasonable prices and great service , Texas Roadhouse is definitely visit-worthy! They offer about 5 entrees at a reduced price if one orders before five, and the same entrees are offered complimentary for Veterans all day on their special day! We both got the rib eye steak, medium rare. There was a light pink inside the steak and we'd prefer fully pink (not red) inside for "medium rare". It was very good, only needed a kick in flavor for us which the steak sauce on the table added what we wished for. Two sides come with the entree which were fine. The Caesar salad was very good , the melt in you mouth complimentary rolls were amazing and our tasty $5 frozen strawberry margaritas were a great surprise! They are small but mighty! Our waiters were young, prompt and enthusiastic, even with a full crowd! We left satisfied and wanting to bring the family to a solid steak, chicken or pork dinner with great rolls and flavored margaritas!

Saben was our server last night and she was so attentive and personable. She suggested some good drinks to start off with. I even let the manager know when he came by, but she was a great waitress. She had a big party behind us, but she still kept our drinks full and our bread coming. I'm so in love with that cinnamon butter. It was a little crowded. I believe due to graduations, but we were sad within 15 minutes of getting there if that. The bathrooms were clean when I went in them. I will definitely be back. The herb chicken is delicious. I highly recommend it.

Food was good. Pretty crowded but it was a Friday night. It was a somber.occasion but our wait staff was very sweet and helpful. It was loud but a nice distraction. We really enjoyed our drinks and food and will be back soon.

Came here after church and it was super busy as expected. We waited for about 30 minutes before we were seated. Food was very good. I got the ribeye and my husband got the beef tips and rice. Atmosphere is lively and it's a lot of background noise. Causal dining and inviting.

The food was so good. First of all, the rolls are so fresh and soft! I loved the cinnamon butter!! I ordered an 8oz with shrimp, baked potato and broccoli. My boyfriend ordered a 8oz with a loaded baked potato and a salad. Our server was quick with refills and asked if we needed anything. I was surprised how busy it was at 6pm on a Wednesday but the wait time wasn't long. The ambiance is loud though.

Brussels sprouts. Tender and crunchy at the same time! I don't know what that sweet and tangy sauce is but it is delicious. Pork and greens. This is the quintessential dish. You must have it. Get a bite with all four components, grits, pork, greens, onion straw, and a little sauce. That's almost a perfect bite. Fried okra or squash. The fried okra (only when in season) is some of the best fried okra I've ever had. Tacos! A new item. The sauce is great (I stick with mild) and I love the brisket for my meat. Mac and cheese. Some of the best in town. So creamy and cheesy all throughout with a nice toasted cheese top. Wings! Some of the best in town. Banana pudding. Kind of thick with a nice whipped cream mixed through. Pork sandwich, baked beans, and greens are some other go to items for my family.

Saw's BBQ in Hoover landed squarely in category two. Chaz was fantastic from the jump. Attentive without hovering, knew the menu cold, steered us in the right direction, and honestly should probably be given partial ownership based on effort alone. Every recommendation he made ended up being the best thing we ate. We started with the fried green tomatoes, and buddy... the breading fled that tomato like the crew abandoning the Titanic. One bite and the whole crispy shell just slid off like it had somewhere else to be. Underneath was a tomato wondering how things got this bad. Not a strong start. The pulled chicken showed up next and somehow managed to achieve the culinary equivalent of elevator music. It wasn't bad. It also wasn't anything. Just sitting there existing on the plate with absolutely zero personality. If beige were a flavor, this would be its flagship product. Then Chaz's recommendations started rolling in and suddenly the kitchen remembered they could cook. The fried pickles were outstanding. Crisp, golden, crunchy, salty in all the right ways. Exactly what you want fried pickles to be. The fried okra though? That was the star of the night. Whole okra pods instead of those sad little slime coins you usually get. Crispy, seasoned well, breading actually staying attached like it understood the assignment. I could've eaten a bucket of those and started negotiating take-home rights. The okra saved the evening. Finished with the banana pudding, which was light and airy and a nice way to wrap things up. I wanted a little more banana flavor punching through, but it still worked as dessert after the rollercoaster happening before it. So here's the deal: Chaz earned every dollar of that tip. Some of the sides absolutely delivered. Some of the main attractions felt like they were clocking in emotionally from home. Would I come back? Yeah, probably. But next time I'm skipping the identity crisis chicken and just ordering every fried thing Chaz points at like he's conducting a very delicious orchestra. An average experience overall.

Bun was soft inside and nicely toasted in the outside. Bread and butter pickles, onion, tomato and lettuce topped it off. But the star of the show were the fries cooked in beef tallow!! The ole fashioned home-made fried Apple and Peach pies remind of my grandmother's, she used to make these fried pies for the "Real" Original Golden Rule in Irondale when it was across the street, from the current Irondale locations many years ago. The beans and coleslaw are also excellent. I think Archie's may have some of these vintage photos inside if my memory serves. I still have this original Golden Rule sauce recipe that Archie's uses. They do an excellent job! Nothing has changed at this location but the name. Still the best BBQ in town. The complete package. The servers always do a great job, those that take and fetch to go orders from the parking lot are really efficient. The only constructive advice I would give is this owner, is to Keep Up The Work !
