We went on Mother's Day, so it was understandably very busy. Thankfully, we were able to join the wait list from home and then check in once we arrived, which made the wait only about 30 minutes. London was our server, and she was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient. She got our drink order out quickly and even brought us a second basket of their delicious rolls without us having to ask once she saw how hungry my sons were. That alone earned major points in this family. All of our meals were prepared just as ordered, and London consistently made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The entire experience felt warm and welcoming. The manager, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, also stopped by the table to check on how our meal was going. What stood out most to me, though, was that the host who seated us, our server, and the manager all wished me a Happy Mother's Day. Such a small gesture, but it genuinely made the day feel even more special and appreciated. read more

We visited this location on a Sunday night . The wait was an hour. This place gets pretty busy. The bread is always hot, fresh and good. If you want peanuts, you have to ask for your table . It wasn't super clean but wasn't unbearable. The service is good and the food was great . Food ------ Mushroom Chick with a loaded potato - delicious Smother Chicken with sweet potato - delicious Ceases salad - ok- not much dressing or toppings. Maybe they were in a hurry House salad - seems better days or maybe they ran out of products Mozzarella Sticks - average The portions size are pretty good for what you're paying. There needs to be a second location in Irondale or Trussville. read more

Texas Roadhouse is my daughter's favorite steak restaurant! She always chooses here for her birthday. I've never been and not had to wait, but they usually move pretty quick so we don't wait too long. The steaks are on point, and the drinks and appetizers are amazing! It can get kind of loud, but where else can you see the staff line dance when their favorite songs come on? Sadly, the only thing I remembered to take a picture of were our cheese fries! Everything else disappeared too fast. read more

Believe it or not, Texas Roadhouse should get slammed for this hour and a half wait. Geesh! But, everybody was hangry and just ready, our server knew it and came out with 3 baskets of hot rolls. We added boneless wings and fried pickles. Thank you girl!!! Those yeast rolls and that cinnamon butter, calmed everybody down. We are a party of 7 and we on, ready to grub. 5 of us got the catfish with chili, Green beans, salad, and baked potato. Niece got steak skewers with seasoned rice, Yum. And, Auntie baby got beef tips and mashed potatoes. All this food good and we done forgot we were mad. We hapoy!!! To Manager D, thank you for coming around to see about. Salute Sir! read more

I've never had a bad meal here nor bad service. It's a great place to go with family or friends as there is something on the menu for even the pickiest eaters. It can get kinda loud at peak times. My favorite entrees include the filet medallions with seasoned rice and the herbed chicken. The rolls are some of the best in the game. Since I usually go on Sundays, it's packed. Pro Tip: Get on the wait list on their website! read more

Texas Roadhouse - Filet medallions with seasoned rice and broccoli - Steakhouses Near Me - Pelham, Alabama

I must be on a mission to go to every single Texas Roadhouse in America. This one is located outside of Birmingham. I keep going to them because even though it's a chain, it has been consistent. The food, the setting and the employees have all been the same no matter which store you visit. This one was no exception. Noah was our server. He was an absolute joy. No matter what you asked of him, he was pleasant, courteous and attentive. The food and drinks were a bomb 10/10 as usual. Had a steak of course. Cooked to perfection. The salad and baked sweet potato is always a hit with me. I am never able to get to the dessert. Maybe one day. Please visit this location. I have to say it is in the cut on a bypass road but definitely not lacking in guests. read more

Ok, today was not a good day for us to visit. We have been here numerous times but today was the worst experience we have ever had. We joined the waitlist prior to arrival which was great. Our server Kevin, was one of the best we've ever had. But the food and the manager spoiled the day. I asked about buying a gift certificate before I purchased anything so I could pay with my meal with gift certificate before. I've done this numerous times at a ton of restaurants but I was told that I couldn't pay for my meal with a gift card that I purchase on today! Really! That is ridiculous and our server apologized but I told him that it wasn't his fault. She even looked directly at me and turned her head. Our food presentation today was below standard. You can look at the pictures. The fish was over cooked, and the other entrees look like they were thrown on the plate. I hope this addressed and fixed soon. read more

First of all, many Veterans agree with my hubby that this is the place to go for a Veterans Day Special. Hubby got my identical meal as complimentary, even his sweet tea, and the restaurant had a short wait at 4:30 pm! Anyway, I had not been to one of this chain in about 4 years and left wanting to return! The food was a good 4+ but with reasonable prices and great service , Texas Roadhouse is definitely visit-worthy! They offer about 5 entrees at a reduced price if one orders before five, and the same entrees are offered complimentary for Veterans all day on their special day! We both got the rib eye steak, medium rare. There was a light pink inside the steak and we'd prefer fully pink (not red) inside for "medium rare". It was very good, only needed a kick in flavor for us which the steak sauce on the table added what we wished for. Two sides come with the entree which were fine. The Caesar salad was very good , the melt in you mouth complimentary rolls were amazing and our tasty $5 frozen strawberry margaritas were a great surprise! They are small but mighty! Our waiters were young, prompt and enthusiastic, even with a full crowd! We left satisfied and wanting to bring the family to a solid steak, chicken or pork dinner with great rolls and flavored margaritas! read more

Saben was our server last night and she was so attentive and personable. She suggested some good drinks to start off with. I even let the manager know when he came by, but she was a great waitress. She had a big party behind us, but she still kept our drinks full and our bread coming. I'm so in love with that cinnamon butter. It was a little crowded. I believe due to graduations, but we were sad within 15 minutes of getting there if that. The bathrooms were clean when I went in them. I will definitely be back. The herb chicken is delicious. I highly recommend it. read more

Me and my friend have an odd obsession with Texas Roadhouse, but this was the first time I had ever actually eaten there. Let me just say, my high expectations were easily surpassed. The blooming cactus was crispy and perfectly seasoned--delicious! The rolls were incredible. We were even very generously given 8 rolls to go! Service was awesome. Table and menus were slightly dirty, but the incredible food made everything worth it. I loved my steak and shrimp combo. Baked potato and green beans great! What a fabulous restaurant! I left an even bigger fan than I was before!!! read more

Texas Roadhouse is a family statement in Pelham, Al. It is usually packed, but they are just good service overall. On this day I had a fair wait, but I called to be put on the waitlist, so it was over quickly. We sat in a booth to the back of the restaurant, so it was quiet on Tuesday evening. I ordered chicken critters with a Sherley temple. With entrees you receive two sides, so I got a side salad while my friend got a side of vegetables. The amount of chicken we got was more than enough for both of us. Overall, the rolls and main entree were very good. The theme of the restaurants is always on point. The service is always on point due to the attentive servers at all times. This along with the amazing food is always a reason to keep coming back to Texas Roadhouse. read more

One of our favorite chain steak restaurants! Today we placed an order for pickup. I love that you can drive to the back of the restaurant, make a phone call and they bring the food right to your car! Overall ambience, attentive service, and great food. It's a place people keep coming back for for a reason.

We came here on a random Wednesday for dinner. We all went on and on about how it's been SO long since we were here. The service was the best part. Our server , Noah was really on point. He made sure we had everything we needed and made our visit enjoyable. The manager, Michael was cordial as well. Now, the food was just ok. I remember it being way better in the past. I KNOW my palette has changed. We had a few things - burgers, grilled shrimp , grilled pork chop , chicken dish. Prices are definitely reasonable... cheap , honestly. The ambience is standard. LOUD! I can't even count how many times they did their bday heehaw. lol I don't think we will be back here anytime soon. However, I did enjoy the time with my nieces and nephew. read more

Nice server. My steak came out cooked to order but still very dry. Thank God for the rolls.

Sodium gut bomb! Had the salmon and one would think would be a healthy option but tasted more like salt than fish. Green beans were also very salty. Only reason I gave it 3 stars was the service was actually very good (I believe her name was Sarah). If there is a next time I am just going with a cup of chili as it is usually on point although not the best for you. read more

Its beyond me why there is only one Texas Roadhouse in Birmingham. Its always crowded and there's always a wait. We used the app to "join the waitlist". We entered that before we left home 25 minutes away. Said we would have a "20-25 minute wait". Sounds like a plan. We checked in when we got there. The place was packed and we had to wait about 35 minutes for our table for 4. So even using the app, be prepared to wait. That was not an isolated incident. Anyway, we started with the fried twisted cheese. Nothing special but we had a free app. I love their salad, bite sized lettuce, cheese, eggs, tomato and great dressings. Steaks arrived cooked almost perfect. It was just a tad overcooked (it was wedge shaped, so one side was cooked more than the medium rare I ordered) but had great flavor. This is one of my favorite steak places. The place is always fun and entertaining. Don't come in your birthday or you will be the "show". How can I forgot the rolls? They are the best around. read more

While with my family, we decided to have a night out at Texas Roadhouse, which involved ten to twelve members. This was a huge party, so we booked ahead and upon arrival, but still had to wait for a long period of time due to how crowded it was. Though after we were finally seated, everything seemed perfect. Each of my family members had somewhere to sit with a good amount of space to eat. The server was very polite, patient, and ensured that we had plenty of drinks and appetizers.  I ordered the 6-ounce sirloin and grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes. The sirloin was well done, and the mashed potatoes were cooked just right and came with gravy and onions. However, when it comes to the shrimp, it was a bit overseasoned and wasn't that pleasant. My favorite part of my meal was the warm, soft, and delicious rolls. The environment was clean and friendly. read more

I hadn't eaten Texas Roadhouse in years. We were in the area and decided to stop because of the social media hype. It was crowded but our large party was seated after only a few minutes. Our server Joseph was great. The rolls were fresh from the oven and delicious. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. I had the grilled salmon and loaded mashed potatoes. The salmon was barely seasoned and I didn't taste the lemon pepper at all. Would I make a special trip to eat here...probably not. read more

I have no idea why this place gets such a bad wrap because it's fantastic. The service is A+ and a manager always checks in with us. The food is consistently great every time. Texas Roadhouse is the standard for steakhouses. It's laid-back/casual, and usually really busy around dinner time. The food is good but the service is generally average to awful. It's a pretty easy concept that appetizers come out, then salads and finally entrees. Not at this place. Stuff comes out in a random order or at the same time and they don't seem to understand or care why this is problematic. It's amateur hour. read more

Stopped here on our way to see a family member to pick up one of their meal deals. The really only positive thing from this visit was that the food was ready way before the expected time. Pick up was pretty easy, but when we got home, I realize that several things of our order was incorrect and a couple of items were missing. I tried calling the restaurant no answer and there was no form for me to put in a complaint. We probably won't be stopping here again. read more

We came here to get some food to go after ordering it online. It was ready before we got there, but it was not easy to figure out where to pick up the food and had to flag down someone inside the store. We got our food and went home to eat it. These days this place is a hit or miss. The food is fresh and that does mean a lot. The hostess can be another story at time can be short, curt, to downright rude. The decor is good and typical for a restaurant in this category. read more

We wanted to give this location a try since we've had on vacation in other states and it's always good. We checked in online and still, was an hour and ten minute wait before sitting at a table. So packed out. The server was nice and attentive. Our appetizer was brought out and we got our yeast rolls which were good. we didn't wait too long before we got our steaks. I got steak and grilled shrimp and hubs got steak and ribs. The steaks were tasty and juicy and hubs was good and ribs fell off the bone. If you know me, you know Texas Roadhouse is in my list of top 5 restaurants. As usual, it was really crowded, but I used the app and joined the wait list, which was 55-65 minutes. Once I arrived, we had another 5 minute wait, which was pretty good. Since there were only 2 in my party we were seated on the isle which leads to the bathrooms, the staff use to get to the kitchen and the route they use to get to the bar, so it was very annoying with so many people walking by. The food was tasty as usual, and the drinks were perfect. I will definitely be returning soon. read more
