London was our server, and she was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient. She got our drink order out quickly and even brought us a second basket of their delicious rolls without us having to ask once she saw how hungry my sons were. That alone earned major points in this family. All of our meals were prepared just as ordered, and London consistently made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The entire experience felt warm and welcoming. The manager, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, also stopped by the table to check on how our meal was going. What stood out most to me, though, was that the host who seated us, our server, and the manager all wished me a Happy Mother's Day. Believe it or not, Texas Roadhouse should get slammed for this hour and a half wait. Geesh! But, everybody was hangry and just ready, our server knew it and came out with 3 baskets of hot rolls. We added boneless wings and fried pickles. Thank you girl!!! Those yeast rolls and that cinnamon butter, calmed everybody down. I must be on a mission to go to every single Texas Roadhouse in America. This one is located outside of Birmingham. I keep going to them because even though it's a chain, it has been consistent. The food, the setting and the employees have all been the same no matter which store you visit. This one was no exception. Noah was our server. He was an absolute joy. Ok, today was not a good day for us to visit. We have been here numerous times but today was the worst experience we have ever had. We joined the waitlist prior to arrival which was great. Our server Kevin, was one of the best we've ever had. But the food and the manager spoiled the day. I asked about buying a gift certificate before I purchased anything so I could pay with my meal with gift certificate before. I've done this numerous times at a ton of restaurants but I was told that I couldn't pay for my meal with a gift card that I purchase on today! Really! That is ridiculous and our server apologized but I told him that it wasn't his fault. She even looked directly at me and turned her head. Our food presentation today was below standard. First of all, many Veterans agree with my hubby that this is the place to go for a Veterans Day Special. Hubby got my identical meal as complimentary, even his sweet tea, and the restaurant had a short wait at 4:30 pm! They offer about 5 entrees at a reduced price if one orders before five, and the same entrees are offered complimentary for Veterans all day on their special day! We both got the rib eye steak, medium rare. There was a light pink inside the steak and we'd prefer fully pink (not red) inside for "medium rare". It was very good, only needed a kick in flavor for us which the steak sauce on the table added what we wished for. Two sides come with the entree which were fine. The Caesar salad was very good , the melt in you mouth complimentary rolls were amazing and our tasty $5 frozen strawberry margaritas were a great surprise! They are small but mighty! Saben was our server last night and she was so attentive and personable. She suggested some good drinks to start off with. I even let the manager know when he came by, but she was a great waitress. She had a big party behind us, but she still kept our drinks full and our bread coming. I'm so in love with that cinnamon butter. It was a little crowded. Its beyond me why there is only one Texas Roadhouse in Birmingham. Its always crowded and there's always a wait. We used the app to "join the waitlist". We entered that before we left home 25 minutes away. Said we would have a "20-25 minute wait". Sounds like a plan. We checked in when we got there. The place was packed and we had to wait about 35 minutes for our table for 4. So even using the app, be prepared to wait. That was not an isolated incident. Anyway, we started with the fried twisted cheese. Nothing special but we had a free app. I love their salad, bite sized lettuce, cheese, eggs, tomato and great dressings. Steaks arrived cooked almost perfect. It was just a tad overcooked (it was wedge shaped, so one side was cooked more than the medium rare I ordered) but had great flavor. This is one of my favorite steak places. The place is always fun and entertaining. Don't come in your birthday or you will be the "show". How can I forgot the rolls? This was a huge party, so we booked ahead and upon arrival, but still had to wait for a long period of time due to how crowded it was. Though after we were finally seated, everything seemed perfect. Each of my family members had somewhere to sit with a good amount of space to eat. The server was very polite, patient, and ensured that we had plenty of drinks and appetizers.  I ordered the 6-ounce sirloin and grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes. The sirloin was well done, and the mashed potatoes were cooked just right and came with gravy and onions. However, when it comes to the shrimp, it was a bit overseasoned and wasn't that pleasant. Had lunch here today after church. We started with an onion blossom. Delicious,hot and fresh. At my table we had a filet, chicken, grilled pork chops, salads and a kids meal. So packed out. The server was nice and attentive. Our appetizer was brought out and we got our yeast rolls which were good. we didn't wait too long before we got our steaks. I got steak and grilled shrimp and hubs got steak and ribs. The steaks were tasty and juicy and hubs was good and ribs fell off the bone.
