The experience was unreal rolls were cold the butter didn't even melt. Requested sweet tea and got unsweetened the salad came out the kitchen with the dressing on it. Other tables that came in after us got their food first. When we got the food the sweet potato was burnt and the waitress didn't know the menu. Don't know what has happened but it has gone down quick, walked in for lunch and actually sat down at the entrance , no one was around to seat us, multiple staff in back waiting near the soda machine , one guy wearing gloves was on his cell phone , we ordered sirloin steak , sweet potato, garden salad , my steak was over cooked so I switched with my spouse , my salad had no croutons, I was told they ran out when I mentioned it , I had to pick out pieces of the salad that looked like algae and brown lettuce, sweet potatoes wouldn't melt butter it was cold , waitress took it back to microwave . Ordered grilled chicken Cobb salads. Both only had half a grilled chicken on them, the croutons were stale 5 days ago. Ordered on app when I got there notified I was here, they sad it was ready they'll have someone run it out. 30 minutes later had to go inside to get my order! 8-4-25 Our server was new, did a wonderful job, my sons pasta was good, however I ordered a New York Strip and all I can say is that was the strangest consistency of meat I've ever encountered. It definitely was not a hand cut NYS. There was no grain you'd expect to see running through it. It was almost like ground beef that had been hard pressed or glued together. We were in a hurry to get back on the road, and the sides were plenty filling so I just paid the check left. I used to really enjoy going to this restaurant. Service was good at first until the waiter got distracted at the bar talking to someone for 30 mins. The sweet tea tasted like an ash tray and the mashed potatoes tasted like someone had spilled something in them like perfume maybe. Ordered prime rib, medium-rare. It came well-done. Inquired. Was told they had no mid-rare or rare prime rib left. Offered to replace it with a ribeye. Rib-eye medium rare came barely cooked. Not even rare. They took $6 off my bill and left me with this rare steak. Took it home and finished cooking it myself. Will not go back. FYI - the manager would not speak to me and the waitress admitted she did not know much about steaks. As usual had a Great meal at Logan's, food was excellent. We were Clelebrating MY wife's birthday and my daughter's wedding anniversary i must point out everyones food was perfectly prepared. Our waitress Carliss was most attentive to all our needs despite it being a large group. The Ribeye Steake were so flavorful and juicy that I would not dare spoil them with any A1 sauce... A group of us are traveling by motorcycle through the region. Hopped on having a nice dinner. The service was awful. Our waiter was training a new waiter. The trainer was the problem and he needs to be re trained. It all went downhill at the beginning. There were 5 of us. He brought 4 rolls. After asking twice they finally brought more rolls. Guest #1. The waiter took his drink order. Messed it up twice to where the bartender actually had to come out and take his order. He ordered chicken fried steak with mashed and corn. Didn't get his corn. He asked for it twice. After he was 1/2 way done with his meal the corn finally came. Guest #2. Ordered a filet rare with a baked potato and shrimp. What came was a filet well done with rice. Sent it back and she received her meal (minus the shrimp after others were 1/2 way done.) Repeated time it was mentioned she did not get her shrimp. After everyone was finished eating including guest #2 the shrimp came. Sent it back at this point. Guest #3 (me) ordered a BBQ steak that came with potato salad and cucumber salad. Substituted the cucumber salad for cesar. After everyone was 1/2 done my meal came.....BBQ chicken with fries. The waiter argued that's what I ordered. Made him get a menu to prove what I ordered (cucumber salad did not come with the chicken so how could I substitute something that wasn't there) he realized he messed up the order. The entire group was done eating when the waiter came back out to ask again what my order was. Eventually I told the waiter dont bother. Everyone was done and I still did not have a meal. Spoke to the manager. He said they would discount the table. Got my receipt and would you believe they were charging me for my meal and 2 drinks. Told the manager im not paying it. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting with poop all over the toilet, pee all over the floor in which it looks to have been sitting there and piling up for days. trash cans are full. Well after walking out of Texas Roadhouse, Logan's was next up for me and my fiancee. To start, we chose Logan's as our next options for the rolls, and uhhh we can just say they were not the best. my friend and my daughter went out to eat last night at Logan's as part of a girls night out. The Caesar salad was overdressed where I think it might have had more dressing than salad. The loaded mashed potatoes were gummy boxed potatoes (tasted like) topped with cheese that had hardened like it had been sitting for a while and some bacon pieces. it had no salt or seasoning of any kind. we ordered the coffee and cream steak that was supposed to have a coffee cream sauce on it. I love coffee and my friend does as well so we both ordered it. It was terrible. The sauce had no coffee flavor at all and it was just overall nasty. I only ate 2 bites of it and couldn't eat anymore. The server was nice and apologetic. The manager came out and we discussed it with him and he was polite. He gave us a few dollars off but the meal was terrible. The only thing I ate and liked was the mushroom appetizer. It was good. We won't be going back. They didn't bother to put ranch or ketchup with the chicken tender meals and put all three our "loaded baked potatoes" in one box wrapped in tin foil with one cheese one butter and one sour cream for 3 baked potatoes...?It's not incompetence it's clearly negligence they just don't give a shit. They know they serve shit they just don't care. If your staying overnight here traveling through like us. Gave her our order meanwhile the couple behind us received their food and the lady order was wrong which was second sign to me that this is not going to go well. We waited patiently for our food as we watched her put the order in and we time our order so we may ask if too long. What was ordered were no steaks or anything so no reason to take so long. After one hour of waiting and this was just on food was ridiculous. Madison never came to our table and said I checked on y'all food and they're working on it or anything. So as I was about to ask she disappeared and about 10mins after she came back but went to the table in front of us where this lady was irritated due to wait and food was messed up. They paid took her forever and on their way out says to us good luck it's going to be a long while. Meanwhile still no food for us or drink refills which we didn't care for refills it's the principal. Madison finally shows up with our food 15mins later after other couple left. Haven't eaten here in a long time so when Old Town Spaghetti was closed Sunday we went here. I got the ribeye sandwich because the picture on the menu looked so good. What I got was not like the picture. The steak was pitiful. It was paper thin. It didn't even fit on the bread. There were spaces on both sides. I don't know why they even asked me how I wanted my steak cooked. One flip on the grill and it would have been well done. No way they could make it medium. It was almost laughable except we had to pay for it. My granddaughter loves sirloin but hers tasted like liver. Really bad restaurant. Not like it was years ago. Visited Logans in Jackson, TN. This is a return visit and an update/followup review. It was an early evening @3:30. We were seated and waited on in an acceptable amount of time. I may not have mentioned this before, the menu has been trimmed and paired down from the pre COVID 19 days. This is not unusual for a restaurant. We ordered the Roadies which are sliders and a baked potato. Fries were listed with the order. subbing a baked potato is considered an extra charge. Its hard to call them sliders, since they are larger than the average slider. They were good, and I would guess they use ground sirloin to make them. Typical condiments of pickle and mustard (as requested). They use their rolls as buns and that is an added plus. The baked potato was hot, and that is an added plus. My family chose to go to the Jackson, TN location and that was a HUGE mistake. Host seated us quickly and that was the last we heard from anyone. Sat there for more than 30 minutes and nothing. Saw a manager talking to someone in the area we were in and she looked at us but nothing. I watched her take her cell phone out of a pocket and proceeded to go sit down with two other customers and be on her phone. That was the last straw. My family got up and proceeded to leave but on the way out I tapped her on the shoulder and asked if she was the manager to which she replied yes. I the pointed my finger at her and hollered you suck and walked out. My 33 year old son said I surprised him by doing that because I had never done anything like that before. The server wasn't familiar with the menu at all. The plates were chipped. They were out of an advertised menu item. The place must not care about food safety because I saw an employee making salads without gloves on and touching everything. There was a guy with a dog ( no vest identifying a service dog). The man didn't work here but got up and went into the kitchen. No one said a word. Then I noticed a small child riding a bicycle in the restaurant including into the kitchen area. The cooks obviously don't know the difference between medium and medium well, because I ordered my steak medium, and got it medium well. The rolls had way too much butter on the top. Ok, I like this Logan's typically, but haven't been here in a while. But the manager makes the waitresses scan drivers licenses prior to be served alcohol. I took my son to eat and drink a week after his 21st, and when the waitress scanned his license, it had expired, but he had renewed online and forgot his verification printout. Wtf does it matter if they know he's 21? Stupid policy. Won't be back. But I feel bad for making the waitress suffer my incredulity and will tip her well. Stopped in for dinner despite the 2 1/2 star rating. Asked for a table for one as I was in town on business. The host, who was wearing his mask around his chin, offered me a seat at the bar. As I looked around I saw at least a dozen empty tables so I asked for a table. His reply indicated they were all dirty and I would have to wait at least 10 minutes. It was early and ..... This was our 1st time here. We were excited about throwing the peanuts on the floor. We ordered a drink. Took 30 mins to get them. We waited another hour for our food. When it came to the table it looked like my chicken had been dropped. My husbands plate had cheese on it. He didn't order anything with cheese. Super disappointed.
