I love this restaurant concept and how successful it is. Bonus: Woman-owned! Great food and service. Great company to try. I hope they eventually expand to the Seattle area and then I would be a regular customer for life. We had great staff interactions and there were so many choices of chicken salad and sides to choose from. Very hard for us to decide. I chose the croissant sandwich with Olivia's old South Chicken Salad. I love the sweet & savory mix of sweet pickles and hard boiled egg in this variety. For my side I chose the broccoli salad as they were out of my first choice, the recommended grape salad. I enjoyed the broccoli salad though as it was slightly sweet and crunchy. My wife had the Fancy Nancy chicken salad scoop (no sandwich). My wife chose a scoop of the pimento cheese as her side as it reminded her of Southern dishes she's had in the past. I tried both and they were equally delicious. I read the personal story of Stacy Brown and her husband's experience starting up this restaurant that was posted on the wall. They seemed to have a classic startup experience with a wonderful result. They succeeded in opening a place that lots of people seem to love (me included!). Great job! Give this place a try. I ate at Chicken Salad Chick in Jackson, Tn today. It has been my favorite place to eat but today it was less than good. I ordered the fruity chicken salad on croissant. There was zero apple in the chicken salad. It was supposed to have grapes but it had 1 grape. There was 1 tiny chip of celery I think. It's suppose to have pecans which is why I love this version of chicken salad. There wasn't any, zero pecans. It tasted like they ground up pecans so fine like dust to give the flavor of pecans and added. This sandwich was tasteless on a dry croissant with chicken and mayonnaise, one grape, no apples, and a chip celery. The worse ever. I was so disappointed. Excellent chicken salads with a variety for everyone. Their soups are good too but the serving is small. I love their broccoli salad side.

This was my first time visiting a CSC. We are getting one in our hometown and we saw this one while traveling so we decided to stop and get a preview of ours to come. When we walked in, the place was busy. I stood at the door looking for the restroom. I noticed how clean the restaurant was. When I saw the restroom it was in the back of the store. As we walked past the front counter to go to the restrooms, the crew all said hello. The bathrooms were very clean and had a freshly cleaned smell. The decor was nice too. I'd give it...5 out of 5 flushes. When we returned to the counter, the ladies were all so nice and patient as we pondered over the menu. They even gave us suggestions as to their favorites. After we ordered we got our drinks and sat down. W/ in 5 minutes our food was at our table. It all looked good and tasted even better. We were very pleased. After sampling each other's food, we decided that we can't wait until we get ours so we can enjoy the food again. Everything we had tasted great. They even have an app (which I got) so you can get rewards. Overall CSC is really good and I will definitely continue to recommend it to my friends. I found the chicken had a weird flavor. I tried two different chicken salads. One with just onions and the other was a lemon Basil. Which tasted like the lemon pepper seasoning. The broccoli salad was good along with the potato soup. Would not order from here again. read more

I LOVE Chicken Salad Chick and I eat here every single time I'm in Jackson! They have about 12 different chicken salads to choose from. My favorites are Dixie Chick, Fancy Nancy, and Jalapeno Holly. I love the broccoli salad, too. It really is some of the best food and I wish we had this restaurant where I live. Love this place. Very Clean. Love the colors. Photos of local spots. Staff friendly, attentive. Side soup may look like a small portion, but it is more than it looks. Loaded potato soup was very good. Tomato bisque at first seemed bland, but as I continued I realized how fresh it tasted. I thought it was excellent. Classic Salad with poppy seed dressing was great. So far all their chicken salads are really good, but only subtle differences. I wish they had a "friskier" version which would have more spice, more tang, more bite. What I like most is that the salad is not overloaded with globs of mayo. You REALLY taste the chicken. Dixie chick: Although good chicken salad, would not say that it is loaded with onions. I love onions and will sacrifice my breath. Lauryn's Lemon Basil: This has more flavor. A hint of basil, a crunch of nuts. Would order this again. Fancy Nancy: Love the sweetness of the apples and grapes with the texture of nuts. Would order again. Really enjoy the atmosphere. Well lit. Really nice music and a perfect sound level. I dropped through Jackson for a business meeting and found this place on yelp. Great restaurant - clean dining room, fast and friendly service, and delicious food! The classic chicken salad was wonderful and I was thrilled with the surprise cookie that comes with the order. Will come back next time I am in town. read more

Decent food. Clean and bright environment. Good value for the money. Sandwiches are fresh but the chicken salads all taste too much alike. It's good but the ingredients just don't set them apart. Soups were ok. Overall tho, there are other places in Jackson with better chicken salads. read more

Placed a catering order for 25 people, staff were very nice and helpful. Absolutely all the chicken salad sandwiches were delicious - I had trays of Francy Nancy, Fruity Fran, & Cranberry Kelli. Ordered both broccoli salad and grape salad for sides which were also a big hit! Food was ready when I arrived. Loved the decor. Arrived around 10:30am and it was very quite. I worried after I delivered that we needed a little more food, went back for some extra sides. Very busy when I went back a little after 11am. Everything was package and prepared beautifully and traveled well I also had gallons of tea & lemonade and cookies - both were very good. The prices for individual orders looked a little bit pricey, but the catering order prices were very reasonable. I will definitely place more catering orders in the future. The only thing I felt was missing was some salty chips to go with the sandwiches. The next time I will stop at the grocery and grab some big bags of chips. read more
