The fish and steak were good, but the duck was amazing. AND the twice baked potato was soooo good and the pesto they provide with some yummy buttery garlic toast is super good too. Unique and tasty salad. All in all LOVE this restaurant/bed and breakfast. And the dessert was amazing too! Their breakfast is also good. Love love love this place. Will be coming back for future anniversaries. The massages are really good too. I recommend doing an hour or more instead of standard 30 minutes. The ambiance is nice also. Not stuffy and overly fancy/sterile but comfortable, welcoming and classy.

The owners and staff have left no stone unturned in perfecting the dining experience. The complimentary peach hibiscus mimosas with fresh pressed juice are delightful. The salad was impressive. The entree was unbelievable. Filet fit for a queen, grilled duck breast was surprisingly tender and so flavorful, Alaskan halibut was fresh and cooked to perfection, who needs the sides?! We could not finish our entrees and were offered to-go containers. Dessert of lemon cake with vanilla mousse and blackberry sauce was enjoyed as a midnight snack and left us dreaming of this fabulous meal. Cannot wait to visit again!

The staff is always friendly and professional, and the food arrives in a timely manner. This time I ordered the prime rib, which was a huge portion that would probably make at least two meals. If not, three it comes with salad and a side rolls and they're delicious crouton basket, which are out of this world and that was only $51. The prime rib was very tasty as was the potato casserole I ordered as a side did I mention how great the croutons were? They are amazing. Definitely would recommend fireside for your dining. It's only open on Friday and Saturday so it gives you something to think about during the week.

They were out of prime rib, so I ordered a regular rib eye, medium rare with a baked potato. The rib eye was about half the size when sliced to put on the grill and arrived rare. Not only rare, but gristle all around and the baked potato was absolutely cold... so cold, the butter wouldn't melt, and appeared as if it wasn't completely cooked. Took both the steak and potato back and the potato was slightly warmer but the steak was hardly edible due to the gristle and toughness. We fed the adorable dogs that live out there with the steak and potatoes. I hope changes happen to remedy these issues or I feel that the restaurant will close soon.

It was a cool, Sunday morning and finally decided to stop and try this little place out. Let me…read moretell you that the parking lot was full as well as the waiting lobby. They told me it would be about a 10 minute wait and that was about what i waited before being seating. I knew by the way this place was packed and people willing to wait, that it must be worth it. I was not disappointed. As soon as i was seated i was greeted by my server and ordered a coffee and a Dr. Pepper. This gave me a couple of minutes to look over the menu. Before i knew it, in the blink of an eye and before i could scan over the forst page of the menu, the server was back woth my coffee and drink. While sipping on my coffee i browsed the menu and found what inwanted for breafast. Which by they way, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ordered the double (see pic of menu for desription) As i watched the room noticing that as soon as a party left the bus boys were on the table quickly to clean and turn it over and the hostess already had the next group ready to be seated. This explained while the wait wasnt as long as expected as they turn over tables quickly. The next thing is knew, my food was at the table, hot and fresh. The food didn't disappoint either as it was all cooked perfectly and had good flavor. My server checked on me as what I consider perfect timing and the right amount of times where you are not bothered but dont have to look around for a refill or assistance. All in all, this place was a quaint little country kitchen, with excellent service and food. They are well staffed to handle the crowds with ease and plenty of cooks to get your food out in a timely and fresh n hot manner. Awesome place.

There were lots of waitresses in there with t-shirts on with Phil's face on them. I guess it was his birthday and they surprised him. It was good to see that they all love him. This is an old cafe. The seats aren't the most comfortable, but pretty expected since we were in a cafe. You could tell there were lots of locals in there. My mom got the blueberry short stack. She said they were great. Came out with three pancakes that had the blueberries cooked inside and on top. Pancakes were the size of a plate. They filled her up and she couldn't eat them all. My dad and husband got regular breakfast items. Toast, eggs, bacon, and hash browns. It all looked good and they ate all of it. I had the chicken fry with white gravy, 2 eggs, grits, and hash browns. All of my food was good. I was a bit disappointed in the gravy because it didn't seem homemade. Hash browns and eggs cooked perfectly. Grits were hot. No special flavors. Sorry I forgot to take photos.
