When someone suggested this place, all I heard was : steaks, buffet, large iconic cow out front. There are some steaks available, but they didn't look very appetizing. so I went for the other food items. It didn't get much better. Canned fruits and vegetables, fried chicken... This was one of the most unhealthy places I ate at while on this road trip. But as always, it comes down to the company. The staff was nice and helpful if we had specific requests. They encouraged us to stay as long as we wanted. If I ever found myself in Ardmore again, I would definitely come back because this place is fun/funny and super cheap too. read more

I would like to say I've eaten at this restaurant once before and it was good. It was during christmas and I have brought my granddaughter and my family with me to eat and look at the lights. But today it is it is 97° outside and hot. The bathroom doesn't have any air, so someone would Asthma. We'll have a hard time breathing. I have a Walker now because I had a stroke. A year ago and just got it on a hospital. Four months ago, so I walk with a walker, and the bathroom was extremely hot, after looking for somewhere to eat. I thought, well, here we'll try this again. Everybody that was with me did not like what they were eating. It tastes like it wasn't seasoned, Tastes overcooked, the only thing that they really ate was the salad. That was fine and the drinks, which we're also fine. But the food once underseasoned, overcooked, n in just bad, when I brought it to the managers, she told me that we've eaten. We paid for it. And there was nothing she could do about it, that's fine. I told her I would leave our review about her restaurant because I wasn't asking for all the money back and the way she treated me. It was not very decent. I didn't yell, I didn't scream. She asked me to leave her store and are her restaurant or she was gonna call the police. So I waited into my daughter got back from the restaurant, because my daughter suffers from lymphedema, so it's hard for her to walk around. And I waited for my daughter, this lady could have at least been nice about this. I did not yell, I did not scream. I did not cause any attention to me. I needed to eat because I'm a diabetic. And I had my insulin with me , so beware, when you go in there before you buy. I hope you read this. And I hope it helps you make a decision. You know, I usually don't have a problem. What restaurants? But this one I did, and it wouldn't have been nothing for her to say, okay, well, let's figure out what we can do about it, but no, she was not willing to talk about it. She was not willing to say anything. All I ate was a salad. I didn't even get anything else. I taste stuff that other people got, and I tend to believe my daughter,my fiance and my son. read more

The food had little to no flavor at all if any & it's very overpriced I was very disappointed

Food was ok. Servicer spent time with her cell in another area. When they did come through they didn't remove used dishes. Hard to get refills. Ambiance well. Let's just say very used, dirty and worn. I'll post photos. I will be contacting Franchise. I blame owner and managers for badly maintained property and em read more

My sweetheart and I went 45 minutes before they closed yet everything was fresh and hot and delicious. We are both cost and carb conscious and were able to make smart decisions, can't recommend it enough. read more

Sirloin Stockade - The iconic Mascot out front - Steakhouses Near Me - Ardmore, Oklahoma

Very disappointing. Food was lacking in variety and flavor. The entire dessert section was dried out. The salad bar was fine. The temperature was warm and didn't feel like any air was circulating. The only person that addressed my party was the cashier at the very beginning, and she was pleasant. Absolutely no one came and checked on us during our meal. read more

Don't let the google reviews fool you.. buffet options are very limited, that's if they are even edible or possible to scrape off the platter after sitting there for hours being warmed. The pizza and brownies were literally hard as a brick and a few of the other items were cold or just scraps because they couldn't refill them. We were almost halfway done eating before we even received our waters.. will not be back. read more

We went during the last hour before closing. The food was still fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly, especially Lisa who seemed to be in charge. read more

The food was pretty good but there was hardly anything at all to eat. No fish which was disappointing because that's what I usually like to get. Our waitress was terrible. She did not even acknowledge me at all. No how are you, no name, no refills or anything. Which means no tip for her. Food was scarce, place wasn't very food, and the bathrooms smelled terrible. I can't imagine we will be back there for a very long time after that experience. read more

Sadly the food that should be hot, was not. Service was slow. Would not recommend. The building needs an upgrade or a really bad cleaning. I wish I could find something I liked. read more

Lost my appetite from the smell of the place. The buffet not a fan, false advertising on "weekend" price. Got some of the meat, unappetizing smell on the meat. And the sickly smwlling desserts. Horrendous never going back. $60 for 3, complained about loss of appetite, no comp. At all. Water wasn't even good. read more

Not quite your typical buffet, they did have a board with a menu to order from, but the cashier assumed we were there for the buffet. The food on the buffet was fairly typical but not as many offerings as your typical Golden Corral, the dessert counter was a mess with many of the dishes near empty and the bread pudding was crusty and burnt. They advertised Brisket, it was very pink, what can I say, spend your dollar wisely, I won't be back read more

Worst SS I have ever eaten at. Several food items were empty, the broccoli was brown and mushy, the rice was brown and dry, there was no food that was good quality. The manager on duty was rude, definitely not worth the money. The Angel food cake was hard, the tea tasted bad. read more

They have some really good food here if you season it with salt and pepper, otherwise it's kind of bland. Service is always friendly and the desserts are delicious. My one complaint is that we went at noon and the main meats on the Buffet were empty. There was a pan with two dried up nuggets of catfish and another pan with just remnants and juice from what probably was pot roast. We were in the restaurant for over an hour with our big group and not once did they refill those bins. Also there was only enough mashed potatoes for one person in our party and those were not refilled either so that was really disappointing. It's a small Buffay so when you have three items that are not replenished on the Buffay there's not a lot to choose from. read more

Our server was soo sweet! But lord, that food... The reviews show on google that it's almost a five star, but here it's only 2.5. I'm honestly surprised it has more than a one star. Very bland food, and the steak tasted a little rotted. The cucumbers at the salad bar were bad too, really slimy and translucent.. I feel awful for the wait staff, I know that isn't their fault at all, and like I said, our waitress was so sweet. Not a single thing we got was seasoned, let alone good. The dining area was pretty cute, so I was expecting a lot more! I'd much rather have gone to McDonald's lol. I've never written a review so I guess this is how you know I'm being honest. read more

Food was amazing! Service was great excellent. Pice was very reasonable and the selections were good!

The lunch buffet was excellent. The salad bar is very good with plenty to choose from, not hugh but fresh with enough choices. The black eyed peas were very good however the fried fish was outstanding. They like every other restaurant is short staffed but service wasn't good read more

Food is what you would expect from a $9.00 buffet. Sirloin Stockade - a square metal drain in a tiled floor - Steakhouses Near Me - Ardmore, Oklahoma

You have got to be joking. This place absolutely needs to be on its last leg. Because It tastes and looks like it is. Upon entry of this sad, dilapidated interior there is a funky smell that is sweet like an old honeysuckle mixed with steak on the grill and it is such an off putting smell. Sickly sweet mixed with an attempt at "steak". "Steak" HA! Not. Even. Close. Don't bother volunteering your desired temperature, They won't ask you how you want your "steak" cooked. Because they don't care and there is only one temp = medium-well. So...save your breath on the temp. "Steak" has zero seasoning and is one grade above tough. And the salad bar and "buffet". No. Awful. Bad temps (warm salad and medium to low temp on hot buffet bar." Look, they've clearly given up here. They're just waiting for the health department to close them down. They're asking for it. Save your $28 for two and go eat across the street at Mercy hospital cafeteria where everything is bound to better. Even if out of a vending machine. The finale: I asked for a take-away box to give the leftover "steak" to my dog that I hate but they charge $5.99 for a takeaway box thinking that you'll steal from their wretched buffet on your way out or something. P.S. I don't hate my dog. But I would if I brought this "steak" home. read more

I'm new to this town and ate here twice. The food was good. The waitress did their best. To me was good service. The owner/manager should never make their employees cry! Won't be going back. read more

Nothing fancy but really no actually complaints. I kind of expected a smaller buffet area when I seen it was $8.97 for a buffet. Most of the food was decent with a couple standouts like sausage links and the mashed potatoes and then a couple items I would avoid like the Mac n cheese, potato wedges and the Salmon. read more

Lady at the counter rude and didn't explain their "procedures". No refills available. Food was gross. I mean like really gross. Pie was removed infront of us because there was MOLD on it. Flies everywhere. Even more ants. A bit worried about food poisoning. Nothing was hot enough or cold enough. cleanliness was lacking. Even the manager or owner, didn't wash their hands when cut the "brisket" for us. I guess we could have ordered a steak from here? not sure? no one told us. read more

Once upon a time, it seems like I remember this place being nice. Now it's super run down. Needs a serious update. The building looks like it needs more than just a coat of paint, and the food tastes like cafeteria food. I won't be back any time soon. read more

Now, I'm not much of a buffet guy so this may be a little biased. If you like average to below average buffet food, then you will like it here. It's no so bad that I would refuse to go there but I'm also not jumping at the opportunity. read more

Not to bad of prices for the food quality. However not too big of a selection to choose from. Cleanliness was not the greatest. The high chair I used for my son was absolutely nasty. The decor was old and dated not to mention the plates were old and grimy. The bathrooms were dirty and had no changing station for my son. To top it off as I was pulling in my chair The bottom of it was so sticky I felt the need to go wash my hands before I are. Blah! I personally will go somewhere else next time. read more

honestly if i could give it 0 stars, i would. i never review restaurants but this one i just had to warn others. the staff was TERRIBLE. As soon as we walked in, they snipped at us that they were closing at 8pm...it was only 7:30. we continued to sit down and two of the staff members were just sitting in the front talking bad about every customer who came in. including us! The older lady with brown, curly hair wearing a green shirt was absolutely more than rude to my boyfriends family, but was kind to me? coincidence, im the only white one. she did not greet or give farewell to any persons of color, only white people. we also watched the same lady walk over to the desert stand DURING her shift and grab food with her BARE HANDS?!? later during our visit, my boyfriends aunt dropped a five dollar bill. he picked it up for her since she has back problems, but one of the staff members continued to walk up to him, and made him give it to her because it was "one of her servers"..uhm no. besides the terrible service, the food was bland, dry, and cold. it was obvious it had been sitting for wayyy too long.. we're all sick now. save yourself your time and money and DO NOT EAT HERE!!! read more

Ok my family and I tried this place because evidently Ardmore bulldozed Ryan's. first off its your typical small town country buffet. The food is good but I won't go higher than that. The Buffett is kept stocked with fresh food. I will give this place 3 stars. The reason for three stars is they claim it's a buffet with steak on the Buffett. Well after waiting quite awhile the steak bin stayed empty. I asked a worker and was promptly told if you want Buffet steak you have to order it through your waitress. Good luck with that. Typical buffet where you see your waitress every 15 minutes. If your going to make a item order only then please state that when paying or the waitress need to circulate more often. read more

Eating at the Ardmore restaurant is like gambling. Some days the food will be out of this world, others the place is ran by teenagers and the food isn't worth the money. How ever if you get this place on a good day, it is the best buffet in town. I would definitely recommend trying a steak before you judge it. I ordered a steak medium rare and it came to me cooked to perfection, an event that is rare even in the expensive steakhouses. read more

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years now it is me and my husband's favorite restaurant we like the buffet and the fries maybe not as big a buffet as some of the buffets in other towns but it is conveniently located to where I live. The bathrooms and the sometimes the tables aren't cleaned fast enough and the plates sometimes look old and from time to time I have had some food on salad bar that was spoiled but that has been a rare thing. Most of the food is very good however and my favorite item is the meatloaf that is the main thing I dive into when it is available as it is very good. For the most part I have had very good waitresses over the years very helpful. Where else in town can you get American not Chinese buffet in Ardmore except here so that is one reason we like it also the punch card system of buying 10 meals and getting a meal free and the email club with coupon for free meals for anniversary or birthday we enjoy. Honestly, when we get tired of cooking at home we got to Sirloin we always know we will leave full and satisfied. It besides my husbands cooking has kept me going for over 10 years now and I recommend it if you want a good buffet in Ardmore. read more
