They have some really good food here if you season it with salt and pepper, otherwise it's kind of bland. Service is always friendly and the desserts are delicious. My one complaint is that we went at noon and the main meats on the Buffet were empty. There was a pan with two dried up nuggets of catfish and another pan with just remnants and juice from what probably was pot roast. We were in the restaurant for over an hour with our big group and not once did they refill those bins. Also there was only enough mashed potatoes for one person in our party and those were not refilled either so that was really disappointing. Very bland food, and the steak tasted a little rotted. The cucumbers at the salad bar were bad too, really slimy and translucent.. Because they don't care and there is only one temp = medium-well. So...save your breath on the temp. "Steak" has zero seasoning and is one grade above tough. And the salad bar and "buffet". No. Awful. Bad temps (warm salad and medium to low temp on hot buffet bar." Look, they've clearly given up here. They're just waiting for the health department to close them down. They're asking for it. Save your $28 for two and go eat across the street at Mercy hospital cafeteria where everything is bound to better. Even if out of a vending machine. There are some steaks available, but they didn't look very appetizing. so I went for the other food items. It didn't get much better. Canned fruits and vegetables, fried chicken... Ok my family and I tried this place because evidently Ardmore bulldozed Ryan's. first off its your typical small town country buffet. The food is good but I won't go higher than that. The Buffett is kept stocked with fresh food. I will give this place 3 stars. The reason for three stars is they claim it's a buffet with steak on the Buffett. Well after waiting quite awhile the steak bin stayed empty. I asked a worker and was promptly told if you want Buffet steak you have to order it through your waitress. Good luck with that. Eating at the Ardmore restaurant is like gambling. Some days the food will be out of this world, others the place is ran by teenagers and the food isn't worth the money. How ever if you get this place on a good day, it is the best buffet in town. I would definitely recommend trying a steak before you judge it. I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years now it is me and my husband's favorite restaurant we like the buffet and the fries maybe not as big a buffet as some of the buffets in other towns but it is conveniently located to where I live. The bathrooms and the sometimes the tables aren't cleaned fast enough and the plates sometimes look old and from time to time I have had some food on salad bar that was spoiled but that has been a rare thing. Most of the food is very good however and my favorite item is the meatloaf that is the main thing I dive into when it is available as it is very good. For the most part I have had very good waitresses over the years very helpful. Where else in town can you get American not Chinese buffet in Ardmore except here so that is one reason we like it also the punch card system of buying 10 meals and getting a meal free and the email club with coupon for free meals for anniversary or birthday we enjoy. Honestly, when we get tired of cooking at home we got to Sirloin we always know we will leave full and satisfied.
