This place is really beautiful, especially with all the Christmas lights, the Christmas tree and all the decor, it's giving a lowkey classy vibe. I did not try their food, as I was not hungry, but I did end up having a few beers, sake, and ordered hookah. I was pretty surprised that their hookah was only $20, it's cheaper compared to other hookah lounges so that was really nice. I just found my new spot. I will be coming here more often from now on, they also have a DJ and what's more fun was as soon as I sat on the machine, I immediately hit the big win so that paid for all my drinks and shisha. The cherry blossoms were so pretty and there was a lot of huge tv screens showing football games you can watch while enjoying your meal or smoking your hookah, hanging out! Cool place! I'll be coming back again soon! Thanks!

No doubt this place is beautiful, the aesthetics are stunning and the vibe is cool as hell. They have a DJ, (not sure if it's only on weekends) a pool table, serve food, ginormous TV's to watch sports on, a full size bar and the coolest thing ever, they serve hookah! Seating on the inside and option balcony seating. Casino just right below the escalator's. I really wanted to give this restaurant a 10/10 but the food is where it fell short for me. I have had their sushi in the past, which was pretty good and I heard their ramen is good too. I came in at 10:30pm, tried to order Yakitori pork ribs (which was unavailable, they stop serving it after a certain time they said) Was recommended loft fries, so I ordered that, a red dragon roll and gyudon bowl. It took about a half hour for my food, I came up and to my surprise, they didn't have my sushi roll. Apparently they stop making sushi at a certain time too. Not going to lie, I was most excited about that. Took my food home and I was very disappointed. My fries were good but didn't have much on it. A few pieces of meat that braised the top and the rest was Literally a box of fries. For $20 I would have assumed it woulda been LOADED fries, with a decent amount of protein. My gyudon, def not gyudon. It was more of a Korean bbq flavor. Meat was dry and the quality was just not appetizing, portion was small too, it was more of a snack. That ran me about $13. I felt like I wasted money, huge heartbreak! Very underwhelmed over the food and the fact that they didn't have what I wanted available. They close at midnight, so you would assume they would have everything on their menu still being served. Overall, staff is really nice, the restaurant is gorgeous and looks like the perfect spot for date night or a night out with friends. I'll give it another try, and order something else. If all fails at least there's alcohol! Lol CHEERS!

One of my favorite places to eat inside the jamul casino. Make sure you come the first two hours they open because there is a happy hour appetizers. A great place to watch the game or watch since you're up above the casino. They also have great views of the jamul Valley. I recommend: the sushi rolls, ouchi eggs, Tokyo sticky wings, and the build your own bowl.

Dropped by Jamul to stay at beautiful new hotel and roof top pool. Amazing views. Good food but slow service. All food good except ahi salad. Don't recommend. Other food great.

This is a really cool Asian style fusion cuisine restaurant serving fresh sushi and birria ramen. They have amazing craft beers and yummy cocktails. The music was just right and the views are outstanding. Service was good too.

I come to Loft 94 at Jamul Casino every now and then for the Asian fusion vibe and sushi, and we headed there recently for a little date night with my husband. The atmosphere is always fun casino energy with DJs, cocktails, and that nice view overlooking the area. We started with the appetizer of ouchi eggs (those boiled ramen-style eggs, halved, breaded, and sauced). Honestly, it was such a unique flavor--really interesting and pretty tasteful. Not terrible at all; I think I'd order them again as a fun starter. For mains, I went with the yellowtail hand roll, but unfortunately, the first one had a very weird soapy taste--like the flavors just weren't there, almost a bit rancid. I had to send it back, and they were nice about remaking it. The second one was alright, a little better, but still something felt slightly off. It just wasn't hitting the spot for me this time, so definitely not my favorite. My husband got the poke bowl, and he really enjoyed it. The salmon tasted pretty decent, fresh enough, and he said it wasn't bad at all--solid choice if you're in the mood for that. For dessert, we shared taiyaki with vanilla ice cream. The vanilla ice cream was great, can't go wrong there, but the bread part wasn't satisfying enough. It felt like it should've had some filling inside the fish shape to make it more complete--kind of hollow and underwhelming. Overall, the food this visit wasn't all that great compared to previous times we've gone. Service was fine, and they handled the roll issue without drama, but the sushi disappointment brought it down. The ouchi eggs and poke were the highlights. Might give it another shot another time since we've had better experiences before, but this round was just okay. Good for a casual casino dinner if you're already there, but not blowing me away.

I came here with my family, and was meet with the most perfect service and food. The food was so good, and the portions were huge for just a good price! I highly recommend coming here. I am definitely coming back here again. One thing is that we were seated right by the DJ and i couldnt hear my family talk. It was extremely loud.

Conveniently located on top of Jamul casino Asian yakitori eatery and full service bar serving small plates and noodles menu and cocktails. Nicely decorated, roomy and clean tables inside looking down the action floor or outside open air gazing at the beautiful full moon over the Jamul valley. Thee are nice heaters outside to sit by. I stopped by for a drink while waiting for a friend. Staff is warm and relax. Life is short just take it easy. Huge screens for watching sports. No smoking smell is a huge plus.

The most solid bowl of ramen I've had in a while!!

It was our first time at the casino and came in with no expectations. Located upstairs from the main gaming floor, we heard music pumping and saw a sprinkling of people dining. When the hostess asked if we wanted inside or outside (remember it's our first time here so WHAT!!?! Outside patio is an option?????) As soon as she mentioned heaters I said yes! OUTSIDE IT IS!! The DJ was JAMMIN!!! We were seated along the railing. The heaters looked like giant table lamps! I also saw that they had hookah available too (but we didn't partake). Our server was really cool (wish I had caught his name) and made some fabulous recommendations for Ramen! I loved it all! The food was really good, the music was a WHOLE vibe and the crowd was pretty laid back. Lol I Yelped it while I was sitting there to see what it looked like during the day! OMG what a view!! We will DEFINITELY be back.

Bento Box and Short Rib Ramen

Loft 94 has some really solid food and a cool vibe. The bento box was great, and the short rib was delicious and really flavorful. I also tried the ramen, which was very good, and the Black Dragon roll was really tasty. The peach mint hookah was another highlight--smooth and enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely come back for the food and hookah. The only downside was that the gentleman handling the hookahs told us we had to return it exactly at 8:58 because they were closing, which felt a bit rushed and unprofessional and made the experience a little uncomfortable at the end. Aside from that moment, the food and flavors were great, and it's still a spot I'd return to.

We were staying at Jamul and wanted dinner. We have eaten here before, so why not. We were greeted by Liz and seated right away by Winter whom also was out waitress. Me and my husband were vibing to the Dj playing music. Winter took our order and received our food quickly. Everything was delicious.

The food at Loft 94 is always fresh! The pickled cabbage is one of my favorites, the sushi is packed with flavor, and the fried prawns will leave you wanting more. The custom ramen bowl is unlike any other, with endless options to make it exactly how you like. On top of the great food, the people truly make the experience. Management staff Alan and bartenders Jessenia and Brandon go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. They work together like family, and it really shows.

The food is amazing here. We come here as much as possible. The service is also good. The ambience is romantic.

He mentioned they'd course the dishes out, 2 at a time, ensuring each of the dishes were paired intentionally. Beet Salad From someone who's not easily impressed with vegetable-led dishes, this was delicious. This dish was visually vibrant, and the flavor mirrored that vibrancy. The beets themselves were stunningly soft, even juicy I'd say. It's root-y flavor was ever-present, but it never became unwelcome on the dish. "Fragrant" is another word we all used to describe the plate, with the fresh mint and succulent citrus fruit widening each our eyes. Sweet, savory, fresh and...creamy. This salad sat on top of a delightful carrot labneh, which provided a creamy element further elevating the dish. It brought a bit of tang to the salad that I appreciated. Finally, there was a crunchy detail (which we know I love) from intelligently included pieces of pastelli--a Greek treat made from sesame seeds and honey, and that sweet crunch fostered the table's excitement. Trust was firing on cylinders early, strong start. Hamachi Crudo Insane. I'm a big fan of the amount of flavor that's packed in such a delicate dish. Off rip, you're met with a visually exciting dish. Red, green, and purple from the thinly sliced pepper, cucumber, and radish pop right off the dish. Bright colors and exquisite execution, placed in a circle to match the shape of the dish, had each of us salivating. With the first taste, the crisp bite of fresh cucumber catches your senses immediately, and then subtly spicy, cream sauce. It was aguachile blanco--my first time having the blanco variant. The flavor was stupid, I struggled to describe it's uniqueness. The Mexican flavor profile was proliferated by fresh cilantro and thinly sliced radish, followed with a textured salsa seca. The light nature of the dish paired pristinely with the beet salad. Now, these next two dishes were an exciting 1-2 punch in showing you exactly what Chef is all about--that signature wood fire Wood Grilled Cauliflower I always eat my vegetables, but I rarely enjoy them. They're two for two in accomplishing that feat. In a bowl lined with curry, they served up a healthy helping of cauliflower that showcases its smokiness first. With that first bite, you taste the fire quickly, but what surprised me most was how soft each piece of the veg was. The curry and smoky flavor from the wood fire paired deliciously. Though, my favorite aspect of this delivery was the inclusion of raisins and fresh mint. This was a new combo for me, and it delivered. The sourness from the raisins and the cool, herbaceous qualities of the mint cut right through the charred flavor. A beautiful contrast. As we continued to dismantle the plate, there was a familiar flavor that we all recognized but couldn't identify. Maybe it was the serrano aioli or the black lentils. Either way, we all enjoyed this one. Wood Grilled Octopus This was a favorite of mine, but I was alone in that regard. While nobody disliked the dish, the table had mixed reviews. For me, this was perfectly cooked. The texture of the octopus was ridiculous with a cooking technique that created a crispy exterior while maintaining a tender bite. The smokiness didn't shy away here either. I mean damn. Most weren't a fan of the pepperoni, but fresh, ground meat added a rustic flavor pop that satiated my palate. It held that beloved pepperoni flavor, but this style allowed for it's flavor to spread across each bite. What made this dish unique from any other octopus I've had was the addition of castelvetrano olives and legumes. They both brought an interesting flavor and texture element that surprised me. Lastly, the salsa verde served as a perfect sauce, providing an element of moisture that complimented the charred features. Well done. After round two is when shit got real. Crab Fried Rice OH SHIT. WTF. One of the best rice dishes I've ever had. This is one we all wished was much much bigger. Despite the name, this dish includes chunks of incredibly juicy, wood-roasted lobster that there was never going to be enough of. The crab was shredded and could be found in each bite of plump rice, providing a pleasing flavor. Both a lemongrass emulsion and Thai chili were included, offering a wonderful duality of zest and spice. I thoroughly enjoyed the basil and cashew elements as they created some extra variety in flavor and texture. Not much else is needed for me to say, it's a must order. Char Sui Glazed Brisket OH SHIT. Back to back hitters, and they paired... On the wine front, Gata absolutely delivers. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, and it's the kind of place where one glass quickly turns into two because there are simply too many interesting options to pass up. Unfortunately, the food didn't come close to matching either the quality of the wine program or the price point. We ordered the deviled eggs, which turned out to be hard-boiled eggs sliced in half with a piece of ham placed on top. When you order deviled eggs, you generally expect, well... the eggs to actually be deviled. We mentioned our disappointment to the bartender, who was wonderful, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. The explanation was that this is simply their interpretation of deviled eggs. Fair enough, but it wasn't an interpretation that worked for us. Ironically, the standout dish of the evening was the pigs in blankets, which is not a sentence I ever expected to write about an upscale wine bar. They were delicious, but they also raised the question of why the rest of the menu wasn't reaching the same level. Looking back, we realized we were the only people actually eating while everyone else was there for the wine. In hindsight, that should have been the clue. I only wish someone had mentioned that before we made the trip over expecting a tapas experience. Gata has so much potential. The atmosphere is lovely, the wine selection is excellent, and the staff were fantastic. If the small plates eventually rise to the level of the wine program, this place could be truly special. Until then, I'd absolutely recommend it for drinks, but probably not for dinner.

My favorite was the scallop and for hubs, the squashini. We shared the delectable Prime NY Strip and sadly could not finish. The sourdough bread was perfection and we ordered another to enjoy at home with the provided butter spread and our own fig jam. Our sincere thank you Jessie for finding a great table and to Jesus, our waiter, for making our special day extra special. The only minor issue was the temperature inside. Several diners including me were fanning ourselves with the paper menus. We plan on returning on our next visit. Highly recommend! EG Eats

The bar area was beautiful and sitting area down below had a view to the open kitchen. You were seated quickly with the reservation we made. The cocktails were delicious and many are inspired by Japanese/asian notes. Their menu rotates seasonally, so what I have tried may not be what's available to you. But between 8 girls we got 2 house sourdoughs, several small plates to share, and two roasted ducks. There was a good amount of roasted duck and fried rice left over, so it was a good amount of food to share. The kitchen sent over complementary "deviled egg" merengues and black currant jelly palate cleansers at the end. I really enjoyed the peach salad (Regier Farm Peaches) and SD tuna crudo, but the other items were a little underwhelming for me, particularly the roasted duck which was overly salted IMO. Perhaps I'm comparing to the Peking style roasted ducks but the skin was not as crispy and meat was not as juicy. The fried rice was also catered more towards the Western palate, although leaving the duck head on the plate does comparatively add a little more of a wow factor. Ingredients tasted really fresh overall, so I can see the appeal. And a rotating menu keeps both the regular and first-time patrons coming. We did find a price discrepancy with our salad and let our waitress know, and the manager corrected it for us. Hopefully that doesn't happen often, but larger parties, best be wary.

Parking is really hard, so preferably take an uber or park at the conventiom center or Hilton. Its only a 10 min from there to the restaurant and super easy access to get put of downtown. I really like this place because the ambiance is like being in Spain, DJ and Live Latin Music until around 1am. Decor is like being in a Spaniard "Bar" and it is usually pretty busy. Full bar, good cocktails, wine list and a great variety type of Cold and Hot Tapas to share. Their signature dish for me Is the Black Seafood Paella made with the squid's black ink. Lively music and there is an area where you can dance if you are up to the mood Great place to gather with friends, they do take reservations or you can also walk in and sit at the bar if the tables are busy. There is like a second floor with tables to be a little bit more separate from the music. Ladies bathroom, very interesting decor with pics of cute famous Spanish and Latin Actors. The only thing is that there was no a/c in the restroom so it was super hot there even if were there for 2 minutes. Service was average. Not out of this world. I think our waiter was taking care of too many tables at the same time and he was always in a hurry. We had to hunt him down to get our orders taken and even for the bill. This left a lot to desire for the restaurant quality. But still a good option for dinner, fun, laughs and dance.
