Loft 94 has some really solid food and a cool vibe. The bento box was great, and the short rib was delicious and really flavorful. I also tried the ramen, which was very good, and the Black Dragon roll was really tasty. The peach mint hookah was another highlight--smooth and enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely come back for the food and hookah. The only downside was that the gentleman handling the hookahs told us we had to return it exactly at 8:58 because they were closing, which felt a bit rushed and unprofessional and made the experience a little uncomfortable at the end. Aside from that moment, the food and flavors were great, and it's still a spot I'd return to.

This place is really beautiful, especially with all the Christmas lights, the Christmas tree and all the decor, it's giving a lowkey classy vibe. I did not try their food, as I was not hungry, but I did end up having a few beers, sake, and ordered hookah. I was pretty surprised that their hookah was only $20, it's cheaper compared to other hookah lounges so that was really nice. I just found my new spot. I will be coming here more often from now on, they also have a DJ and what's more fun was as soon as I sat on the machine, I immediately hit the big win so that paid for all my drinks and shisha. The cherry blossoms were so pretty and there was a lot of huge tv screens showing football games you can watch while enjoying your meal or smoking your hookah, hanging out! Cool place! No doubt this place is beautiful, the aesthetics are stunning and the vibe is cool as hell. They have a DJ, (not sure if it's only on weekends) a pool table, serve food, ginormous TV's to watch sports on, a full size bar and the coolest thing ever, they serve hookah! Seating on the inside and option balcony seating. Casino just right below the escalator's. I really wanted to give this restaurant a 10/10 but the food is where it fell short for me. I have had their sushi in the past, which was pretty good and I heard their ramen is good too. I came in at 10:30pm, tried to order Yakitori pork ribs (which was unavailable, they stop serving it after a certain time they said) Was recommended loft fries, so I ordered that, a red dragon roll and gyudon bowl. It took about a half hour for my food, I came up and to my surprise, they didn't have my sushi roll. Apparently they stop making sushi at a certain time too. Not going to lie, I was most excited about that. Took my food home and I was very disappointed. My fries were good but didn't have much on it. A few pieces of meat that braised the top and the rest was Literally a box of fries. For $20 I would have assumed it woulda been LOADED fries, with a decent amount of protein. My gyudon, def not gyudon. It was more of a Korean bbq flavor. Meat was dry and the quality was just not appetizing, portion was small too, it was more of a snack. That ran me about $13. I felt like I wasted money, huge heartbreak! Very underwhelmed over the food and the fact that they didn't have what I wanted available. They close at midnight, so you would assume they would have everything on their menu still being served. Overall, staff is really nice, the restaurant is gorgeous and looks like the perfect spot for date night or a night out with friends. I'll give it another try, and order something else. If all fails at least there's alcohol! Lol CHEERS!

One of my favorite places to eat inside the jamul casino. Make sure you come the first two hours they open because there is a happy hour appetizers. A great place to watch the game or watch since you're up above the casino. They also have great views of the jamul Valley. I recommend: the sushi rolls, ouchi eggs, Tokyo sticky wings, and the build your own bowl.

This is a really cool Asian style fusion cuisine restaurant serving fresh sushi and birria ramen. They have amazing craft beers and yummy cocktails. The music was just right and the views are outstanding. Service was good too.

I come to Loft 94 at Jamul Casino every now and then for the Asian fusion vibe and sushi, and we headed there recently for a little date night with my husband. The atmosphere is always fun casino energy with DJs, cocktails, and that nice view overlooking the area. We started with the appetizer of ouchi eggs (those boiled ramen-style eggs, halved, breaded, and sauced). Honestly, it was such a unique flavor--really interesting and pretty tasteful. Not terrible at all; I think I'd order them again as a fun starter. For mains, I went with the yellowtail hand roll, but unfortunately, the first one had a very weird soapy taste--like the flavors just weren't there, almost a bit rancid. I had to send it back, and they were nice about remaking it. The second one was alright, a little better, but still something felt slightly off. It just wasn't hitting the spot for me this time, so definitely not my favorite. My husband got the poke bowl, and he really enjoyed it. The salmon tasted pretty decent, fresh enough, and he said it wasn't bad at all--solid choice if you're in the mood for that. For dessert, we shared taiyaki with vanilla ice cream. The vanilla ice cream was great, can't go wrong there, but the bread part wasn't satisfying enough. It felt like it should've had some filling inside the fish shape to make it more complete--kind of hollow and underwhelming. Overall, the food this visit wasn't all that great compared to previous times we've gone. Service was fine, and they handled the roll issue without drama, but the sushi disappointment brought it down. The ouchi eggs and poke were the highlights. Might give it another shot another time since we've had better experiences before, but this round was just okay. Good for a casual casino dinner if you're already there, but not blowing me away.

I came here with my family, and was meet with the most perfect service and food. The food was so good, and the portions were huge for just a good price! I highly recommend coming here. I am definitely coming back here again. One thing is that we were seated right by the DJ and i couldnt hear my family talk. It was extremely loud.

Conveniently located on top of Jamul casino Asian yakitori eatery and full service bar serving small plates and noodles menu and cocktails. Nicely decorated, roomy and clean tables inside looking down the action floor or outside open air gazing at the beautiful full moon over the Jamul valley. Thee are nice heaters outside to sit by. I stopped by for a drink while waiting for a friend. Staff is warm and relax. Life is short just take it easy. Huge screens for watching sports. No smoking smell is a huge plus.

It was our first time at the casino and came in with no expectations. Located upstairs from the main gaming floor, we heard music pumping and saw a sprinkling of people dining. When the hostess asked if we wanted inside or outside (remember it's our first time here so WHAT!!?! Outside patio is an option?????) As soon as she mentioned heaters I said yes! OUTSIDE IT IS!! The DJ was JAMMIN!!! We were seated along the railing. The heaters looked like giant table lamps! I also saw that they had hookah available too (but we didn't partake). Our server was really cool (wish I had caught his name) and made some fabulous recommendations for Ramen! I loved it all! The food was really good, the music was a WHOLE vibe and the crowd was pretty laid back. Lol I Yelped it while I was sitting there to see what it looked like during the day! OMG what a view!! We will DEFINITELY be back.

The food at Loft 94 is always fresh! The pickled cabbage is one of my favorites, the sushi is packed with flavor, and the fried prawns will leave you wanting more. The custom ramen bowl is unlike any other, with endless options to make it exactly how you like. On top of the great food, the people truly make the experience. Management staff Alan and bartenders Jessenia and Brandon go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. They work together like family, and it really shows.

We went to Loft 94 with my husband for dinner and drinks and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our entire stay. Joniesha Brown was an awesome server and made our experience really great. 5 stars for our waitress Joniesha....however, the overall experience was more like a 4 star. The bartender took forever to have our drinks and it was not even busy, the food is delicious and definitely worth coming back. The chef is quick and the food came out before our drinks...not good. We ordered a $75 bottle not opened at the table and it did not look full, definitely a problem for that price. It was unfiltered sake which wasn't shaken before opening so we poured it back and bottle look 80% full. We asked for another bottle as a comparable and they had "no more" which unfortunately was a factor for the 3 stars. Pretty shady, they took forever to come back and finally came back and said that was the last bottle. We are regulars and locals so will come back but the 75 dollar bottle was questionable. read more

This place has changed since my last review...and not for the better!! Its now a ramen/pho joint and dont get me wrong I love to eat both BUT if you're going to do ramen/pho you better do it right or don't do it at all!! First we were sat out on the patio by who I assume was a manager because he was wearing absuit, it was a beautiful clear night but the table leaned to one side and when we asked for some help to level out the table we were given 1 napkin to try and fold to fit under a leg to make it stop wobbling....really 1 napkin? Shortly after the table issue a bartender came to us and told us we couldnt sit outside because my b/f was smoking a cigar and it was a fire hazard...why didnt the person who sat us outside tell us this...the cigar was in clear view the whole time!! We were sat at a high table in a corner near the pool table...the seats on the high chairs are small and my ass kept sliding off smh if you have junk in the trunk you will not be comfy!! Being next to a pool table meant having a pool stick near your leg and head at times lol!! We sat at the table for a good 10 minutes and a server never came over for anything so we waived over the manager guy again and asked for a server, he was kind enough to take my order right a way and was apologetic for the issues we were running into. I ordered the tonkontsu ramen, it came out hot, the broth was good, the noodles were ok but the pork was so tough I couldnt even break through the pork with my spoon or fork and I've ALWAYS been able to break the pork apart with my spoon. I gave up eating the pork because of how tough it was. The best part of the ramen were the eggs which were AMAZING!! The 2 stars are for the manager guy who was super apologetic for everything and for the eggs....those yummy yolky eggs!!! read more

This place is one of our favorite sushi restaurants. Everything here is delicious! We usually get the chicken thigh and skirt steak Yakitori..... so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The sushi is very fresh. Love the red dragon roll. And the drinks are fantastic and very tasty! Try the clarity. It comes with a lollipop! Our waitress Shannon was gave awesome service. I was surprised to find such a gem of a restaurant inside Hollywood Casino. The prices are affordable, the portions are generous, and the view is stunning. Really not much to complain about! The restaurant is open concept with a heated patio that overlooks the countryside for an impressive view. Inside has plentiful seating by huge projectors for TVs. They were casting the Olympics while my boyfriend and I were there, but they were also playing music videos for whatever music they were playing overhead, which I thought was a fun touch. IIRC they only have tall/high seating for their seats/tables, so hang in there if you have little legs like me! We stopped in for a quick bite, and we shared two plates from their $5 menu: the buffalo cauliflower and the nacho fries. The buffalo cauliflower were on-point, very reminiscent of buffalo wings -- the cauliflower itself had a nice bite to it and was evenly cooked. The nacho fries were nice and simple: waffle fries, nacho cheese, and jalapenos. However, I would prefer crispier waffle fries and the cheese itself was blandly seasoned. Portions were surprisingly generous for the price. We even had leftovers by the end of it. All for only $10! I will be sure to return again the next time that I am at Hollywood Casino. read more

This is the 2nd Grand Party celebrated at Jamul Casino by Dr. Belle Antioquia. In 2021 at the rooftop where guests were treated to picturesque view and this time in 2022, the LOFT94 has proven its good vibes for all guests and the birthday celebrant herself! We can't thank VIP Services Manager Jenny Ng for the smooth planning and execution of the event. Executive Host Mr. Lewbert has been a consistent point person to contact too, which has always helped meet the celebrant's expectations. Director of Marketing Sam Tillman knows how to please the big group of attendees too whenever we gather. Chef James Donovan, Chef Greg Cole (Dennis and Huey) and Service Staff members who all worked together in making this party a success! Through the help of AV Sound System staff, Stephen and Jaime, the performance of Ms. Jeane Moss, has become the life of the party! Went to loft for the first time! BLOWN AWAY! The cocktails are dangerously good and the food on another level. I'm mad at myself for never trying this restaurant before. I had the fried tofu, Edamame, ronin ramen, and Baja roll! All delicious. My friend had the short-rib bento box and we were not disappointed. The stock is by far the best in San Diego. And it's located in jamul! The ambiance is wonderful... indoor and outdoor seating. Outside has a great and peaceful view and there are heat lamps for when the sun goes down. The lemon grass mojito and tropical mango are an absolute must have. Creative, delicious, and fun. Our server, joniesha was knew the menu and was able to make fantastic recommendations. This will be my new happy hour escape with the girl friends. read more

I came to Jamul about 3 weeks ago to ply poker. I saw this place next to the poker room and decided to give it a try. First off I have to compliment them in their service. Hector the Manager is very attentive. All the staff is amazingly friendly from, Dusty to Sriracha to Sergio etc. they make you feel at home. The food is amazing also. Every time I come I get the curry ramen and Lobster skewers (the bomb). I've been back 4 times and this is my go to place when at Jamul. If you have done it yet you have to try this place. read more

Received great service from the time we approached the hostess to our server Taylor M. We asked several questions about the menu as it was our first time here, and she was super helpful giving us amazing recommendations. We appreciated her attentiveness, knowledge, kind and professional demeanor. Top notch server!!! Food was filled with flavor and delicious; we tried everything Taylor recommended. Shanon was such an amazing waitress that I can't wait to come back many more times. She was great at giving food, drink and entertainment suggestions. She was so fun and enthusiastic about us having a great time. Her food and drinks suggestions were great. I enjoyed her attention to our needs as well as making sure we had a good experience. As busy working parents having a time to join ourselves is sometimes overlooked. But Shanon made me want to enjoy not only the restaurant/lounge but hang out longer at the location. We enjoyed our meal, (we always do) tonight at the Loft 94, Jamul, we've been coming here for about 2 years and our server Shannon Rogge as always is a delight, she always knows what we like to eat and let's us know what's new on the menu in case there is something else that we may like to eat, she's wonderful and we always look forward to seeing her, our only complaint is that we wished it would be open more often instead of just for 4 days. Went out with my husband and family and we went to originally gamble... but decided to go to Loft 94 and we had a blast. The atmosphere was great and the music they had that night was good. Brought me back to my younger days. And we had the best server Shannon and of course Miguel Vizcarra.... Who I knew from when I worked at Barona Casino. Thanks for the info on the job fair. The best. This is our first time eating at this restaurant and it was divine. The drinks were really good and the food was amazing. My husband does not enjoy seafood but the chicken sandwich on the appetizer menu was bomb. Our server Shannon was very friendly and on point with her recommendations. I didn't get any ginger. This happened the last 3-4 times I've gone here. It even says on the order paper on the outside of the paper bag for only ginger. Why do I keep coming back? It's close by. The rolls falling apart is annoying, so I just want other people to know that the quality is poor if they're coming here for the first time.

COLD, SLIMY, and most likely store bought. We took one bite and sent it back. Then the Yellowtail roll tasted fishy. Our group ordered two Tonkotsu Ramens and they were completely different in broth color. flavor, and portion size. Not only that, the egg was MICROWAVED. Service was nice though. LONG VERSION: When we arrived at the restaurant it looked rundown. We walk in and all of our shoes were sticking to the ground, peeling up from the floor below with every step. I went to the restroom to wash up -- it stunk and the soap dispenser was a workout to use. Other than that, I thought it would still be an enjoyable evening, UNTIL we looked at the menu. The menu was filled with imitation crab, and not a lot of fresh sushi. We started the evening off by getting gyozas. The server asked us how we would like them cooked -- deep fried, pan fried, or steamed. I immediately thought to myself that sounds a lot like the cooking options on the back of a Trader Joe's gyoza package. We wanted pan-fried gyoza. When they came out, it was plated very nicely and I thought they would be good, but I was wrong. Immediately as I bit into it, I SPIT IT OUT. The gyoza was COLD, SLIMY, and was certainly NOT COOKED in a pan. We sent the appetizer back and the server comped the dish. The first dish that came out was a Yellow Tail sushi roll. The yellowtail tasted fishy and was so underwhelming. Lastly we ordered two Tokotsu Ramen bowls. The first thing we noticed was that the portion sizes were completely different, as you see in the images. THEN the sauces were a completely different color and flavor. The eggs were MICROWAVED! One was nearly overflowing with broth and the other dish had very little. It's like we ordered two different Ramen bowls. At the end we asked if they had gone in the right order, and in fact they did. We ended up having leftovers so we asked for a box to go. AND GUESS WHAT?! At a restaurant that sells Ramen, they had to-go bowls, but with NO LIDS. Do they expect me to have it sloshing around in my car?! So they had to go to their STORAGE UNIT and said they would be back in 5 minutes. We ended up leaving. At the end of the day we were unsatisfied and will never come back. Service was nice... !!! Outstanding Service & Atmosphere at Loft 94! We had an incredible experience at Loft 94 inside Jamul Casino, and it was all thanks to the amazing team of Haylie, Kasey, Allan, and Collin. From the moment we arrived, Kasey greeted us with a warm smile and a welcoming laugh. She initially seated us at a table, but when we mentioned it was a bit too close to the noise, she gladly and graciously relocated us without hesitation. She made sure we had fresh menus and everything we needed, setting the tone for an enjoyable evening. Haylie was our server, and she absolutely shined. Her upbeat energy, constant attentiveness, and genuine smile made the entire experience feel personal. She was always on the move but never missed a beat when it came to checking in on us. Her service was top-notch and full of heart. When Haylie stepped away for a well-deserved break, Collin stepped in seamlessly to continue the same level of attentive care. He has a genuinely caring attitude and took the time to connect with us beyond just service -- asking thoughtful questions and ensuring we felt seen and appreciated. His smooth transition from Haylie's service made it feel as though nothing changed at all, and we were in excellent hands the entire time. And then there's Allan, the floor manager, who clearly leads by example. This wasn't my first visit to loft 94...I visited a while ago (around October 2022) and had a horrible experience...my server took forever to great us. She was either grumpy or just hated her job because she barely checked on us and the food took forever! I was really never going to come back. BUT!! My friend invited me to jamul casino and a little slots sounded fun so off we went. While we were there my friend told me about her favorite place to eat and mentioned loft 94. I told her there's no way I'm eating there again. She assured me that it was great and maybe I had a one off experience last time so I begrudgingly agreed to go. From the moment we arrived at the top of the escalator until the moment we departed...everything was fabulous! Our server was Lele and she was so sweet! She checked on us multiple times and made sure everything was good. She is really a cream of the crop server! I will request her when i come back. The manager melli was walking around and checking on tables and when she checked in on our table I told her all about the past experience and also told her how great this experience was. It's like night and day. (a good manager makes all the difference- don't lose her, she's a gem and really seems like she cares about loft.) The food...chefs kiss! It was delicious. We shared the chicken caragee and I ordered some noodles-i cant remember what they were called but it was like ramen but no soup. Everything came out hot and delicious...i will admit that the food took a little longer than i would normally hope, but it was a busy Friday night, so it's also sort of expected Let me just say everything was amazing and i am so glad i agreed to come back. We had a little bit of a frustrating situation this evening. We came to take advantage of the midweek 50% off menu. There is a great selection of items and we started with sushi. I'm not a fan of spice so I asked Caylie if they could make the spicy tuna roll without the spice. I said I'd order something else if it couldn't be done. The whole time we were looking at the discounted menu. Our sushi order came and they were able to do the tuna roll without the spice. It was delicious. We then got our eamen and we loved it. Then the bill came and my "not spicy" tuna roll was $15.95 instead of the $5.95 price for the spicy tuna. What the heck? Caylie knew we were ordering off the discounted menu. Why didn't she come back to me and tell me they could do a non spicy version but it would be more expensive. I would never have paid $15.95. Not cool Caylie. I feel she was trying to increase the bill so she would get a bigger tip. What happened to good customer service? She didn't even apologize for her lack of communication. I was very frustrated. As a 5 year patron of the LOFT 94, yes my crew has been regular patrons since its inception, I can proudly commit to this review. The new management implemented prior to the new year has significantly improved the dynamics. All the staff members are fully supportive of all guest needs and will accommodate any requests within reason. I must give credit to the recent hire by Jamul Casino with the implementation of F&B Manager Mr. Vu who has brought nothing but positive energy and a professional touch that was genuinely needed. Mr. Vu's management provides a "Need not to worry" experience with any server because Shannon, Rachel, Angelina and others are always attentive. And lastly, I always to try to remember the chef's but it can be left unsaid because of the GREAT time you're having at the LOFT. I recently dined at Loft 94 in Jamul and had a delightful experience. The service and atmosphere were top-notch. We were seated outdoors, where we enjoyed a beautiful view, adding to the overall ambiance. We started with the seaweed salad and sweet chili edamame, both of which were fantastic. My cousin had some specific requests for her sushi, wanting it cucumber-wrapped with no rice, and the staff were able to accommodate her perfectly. I ordered two sushi rolls. While they were tasty, I felt the presentation could have been better, and the rolls could have used a bit more flavor or toppings to enhance them. Despite this, I am keen to return to try more of their menu offerings, especially the teppanyaki and ramen. Overall, Loft 94 is a great spot with excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. The Loft 94 at the Jamul Casino has a great atmosphere with great food (the ramen was delicious and so many choices), good prices and most importantly excellent service! Our waitress Shannon was so friendly and even went out of her way to make sure the kitchen could still serve me something even though it was right after the cut off time for food. She was so nice and made my night with getting me that amazing bowl of Ramen and Chicken Katsu I'm not one to leave reviews very often but Shannon's customer service was on point! I'll be back and bringing my friends. Be sure to check out this spot if you like casinos, it's the only indoor / outdoor dining loft space I've seen before at a casino - super cool. read more

The LOFT 94 just became the elite casual dining and lounge experience in East County. With views of the rolling hills, gas latern heaters, comfortable seating is just the basics. The greatness is in the new menu, staff members and sports bar experience. Take a look at the new menu and some of the offerings provided. You get about five lobster tail halves for around $40, which didn't feel like a good value. The surf and turf was also deep fried and then stir-fried in sweet heat sauce. The sauce was tasty, but the dish didn't feel very authentic. Service was okay. When I asked questions about some dishes, our server didn't seem very knowledgeable and kind of brushed off my questions, which made ordering harder. I might try other dishes next time since the menu is large, but this visit was just average for me, especially for the higher price point.

However, I do expect a restaurant to provide reasonable and accurate expectations for takeout orders. If the kitchen is experiencing unusually long wait times, cashiers should communicate realistic pickup estimates rather than quote times they cannot meet. On this particular Saturday evening, we placed a takeout order at Ginger Noodle Bar at 7:50 PM. Our cashier, Cheryl, advised us that our order would be ready in approximately 15 minutes. Unfortunately, our food was not available until 8:35 PM--about 30 minutes beyond the promised pickup time. The experience became even more frustrating as we stood at the pickup counter waiting for our order, repeatedly asking whether the dishes coming out of the kitchen belonged to us. When our food finally arrived, it was placed in the designated pickup area without anyone notifying us, despite us and another couple standing there clearly waiting for delayed orders. This lack of communication added unnecessarily to the frustration, especially since we were missing the live band performance on the opposite side of the casino while waiting. To be fair, the food itself was exactly as expected. We ordered the Bo Luc Lac and Kung Pao Chicken, and both dishes were served hot, fresh, flavorful, and properly prepared. The order was complete with plenty of napkins, chopsticks, utensils, and fortune cookies. Unfortunately, good food alone could not make up for the excessive wait time and poor communication surrounding our pickup. We ordered takeout expecting to enjoy our meal while taking in the casino's entertainment, but instead spent nearly 45 minutes waiting for food that was promised in 15. Because of this experience, I find it difficult to give a stronger recommendation, and future guests ordering takeout should be prepared for the possibility that quoted pickup times may not accurately reflect actual wait times.
