I give this place four stars for what it is. It isn't a five star lodge but they don't pretend to be. The lodge is as close to Mt Snow as it can be without being on Vail property, and it's dog friendly. You can walk to the main lift in about 7 min, or drive your gear up and return to park at the lodge in 10. The room was clean and warm. The amenities are non-existent; the gym is a sad spot in the basement with a broken exercise bike, the hot tub is from the 70s, and even the breakfast had stale food. But if you're going to spent your time skiing and exploring and need a place to rest your head that is budget friendly, this works fine. Just don't expect more than that. If you want the lodge ambiance, leave the dog at home and stay up the hill for a lot more (as we did last year). read more

Location is the only reason for any stars. The hotel has an offensive smell when you walk in. When you get into your room the smell is worse and you wish you were still in the lobby. Luckily there are doors to the outside to air the room out despite the 20 degree temperature. I understand older hotels have quirks and not being very lux but come on. The owners have given up-at least in the lobby and my room-didn't stay long enough to see anything else. The funny part was that they needed my credit card to use as a security deposit in case I trashed the room. How they can tell I do not know. Since the upgrades (after the new ownership) the place has significantly improved. And the staff were absolutely awesome!! My kids, their friends and I had a really nice time!! The opportunities for improvement are add a little more staff (at least part time). Like a at least server to help the bartender (who also serves as the pool table maintenance lady - Not kidding. The hotel is wicked loud. You can hear what is going on in all the rooms around you. People were running up and down the halls until 2am and the front desk is only staffed until 8pm. The gym is just a treadmill and a bike and the hot tub was closed all weekend. Our room had trash left from the previous guests. It's only redeeming quality is its proximity to Mount Snow. read more

This place is a dump and smells like mildew. Bathtub wouldn't drain and was filled with 10 inches of water. When I went to the front desk to complain I was told, "the previous owners really let the place go" and that several of the rooms had known, "drainage issues." They suggested my wife and two teenage daughters go to the continental breakfast in their pajamas so the could, "plunge the bathtub" undoubtedly with the same plunger they use for toilets given the smell of the place. We had paid a bit more for a "Canyon Room" which has a view of the mountain and they put us in one of their "Dover Rooms" which has a view of the highway (not joking). Anyone who eats at this place is asking for food poisoning. I'll be contacting the health inspector and better business bureau next. read more

This place is disgusting. Dirty. Smelled bad. Beds and pillows terrible. Showers dirty. The website is a lie, the only thing linking this place to mount snow is the free moover bus which you have to exit the rear of the property and then hike down a hill to get to. ....with your skiis and equipment. On our day #2, they actually took the dirty and wet towels off of the floor, folded them and put them back up on the rack. There is a bridge that you need to cross every morning for the free breakfast that looks like it's going to give at any moment. The support beams throughout the property had large cracks in them. The ceilings were stained and cracked with spider webs and there were cracks in the walls as well. Our door had obviously been kicked in by someone previously and instead of repairing the door, they just put a new plate on it. As in if you pushed hard enough, the door would open, despite it being locked. I think this place needs a bulldozer. I could go on, but why? Zero stars if yelp would allow it. read more

So my friends and I bought the Living Social for this place and we were totally pumped about going up since we love Vermont. This place was straight out of The Shining. When you walk in, the smell hits you in the face like a brick. It smells like an old nursing home. Accommodations are fairly outdated, but whatever that's not a big deal. What IS a big deal was the cleanliness of the place. Our room was gross and had a dead mosquito smushed on the wall in the bathroom. We were also charged a fee when we left that wasn't stated on the voucher. The food was pretty good, though, and our free dinner was really yummy. The breakfast was also better than I expected. Great view of the mountain and great location. If they cleaned this place up it was be amazing. read more

If you are looking for a comfortable night sleep and stay at Mount Snow, stay away from the lodge!! This place was a glorified motel. The rooms are dated from the 80s, have all mismatched furniture, and provides very uncomfortable living conditions. I couldn't wait to check out! The beds were so squeaky that I moved my mattress onto the floor to get a quiet nights sleep. I also found old and dirty socks and dust in the corners of the room, after struggling to turn on the floor lamps, the only source of lighting in the rooms. The bathrooms were musty and gross. The beds were springy and the sheets felt uncomfortable. The heat also worked way to well, and we found ourselves sleeping with the door open to get some fresh air so we could breathe!! The lodge advertises a gym and hot tub, which are in the basement. The gym is filled with old and random equipment, some of which is so vividly broken and out of commission. I felt very uncomfortable when I walked downstairs to check out these amenities, and did not go back down. Maybe the best feature from the stay was the hot breakfast included in the morning before heading to the slopes. It is okay, nothing amazing. When I went to take a glass for a drink, I found lipstick stains on it and was a bit disgusted by the looks of some of the food. It was not the most satisfying breakfast. The dining room that it was in was also very unpresentable, one of the corners looked as if it was serving as a storage closet, not the nicest view when coupled with the nice mountain out back. I am giving two stars as the housekeeping service and staff at the breakfast were very friendly and were very accommodating. I would not stay here again, as I would want a more comfortable stay and would like to get a good night sleep after a long day of skiing. I also like to feel clean when using bathrooms, and the bathroom at the lodge did not give me that feeling. After some renovations to the rooms and common areas, this place could be an awesome spot as its location is great. read more

We stayed here on the living social deal in the Fall. Wow. Just awful - not clean, smells bad, wouldn't have eaten the food if it wasn't included (although to be fair the packed lunch was passable). We actually left and rented a room down the street for the second night we were there and took the lost money as a tough lesson learned. This place is a disaster and the LivingSocial Deal is a ripoff (the hotel charges and additional $50 in taxes and this is not mention on the voucher). The place smells like some chemicals have been used to get rid of the smoke and pet urine. You can hear everything everyone says and does in the entire complex. Parents let their kids run free and yell loudly in the lobby (which carries through the halls) all night long. It's almost impossible to get a hold of the hotel to make reservations and when we arrived, we were directed to a phone from the 90's to call for someone and the phone didn't work. Everything in the entire motel is old. We left early and felt that it was better to lose money on the LS deal than stay there another night. This might be a fun place for families, but definitely not a romantic place or a place where you can expect to get some sleep. read more

Started out not so bad for a livingsocial. Most of the staff was very polite and informative, attending to needs as fast as they could considering there were never more than two present at a time. Appetizers the first night were very good! The rooms are very dated but clean to the visible eye. The heat worked when it wanted and the tvs looked like they were getting more snow than we were. Overall it was the best you could expect for a discount, I guess. Things didn't get uncomfortable until dinner on our second night. The waiter was very frazzled due to again an apparent lack of staff communication. The owner was seen doing not much of anything before hurrying to our table to tell us we didn't qualify for our 'free four course dinner for two'. He awkwardly loomed over us trying to tell us our food the night before had qualified as our meal, demanding to see our vouchers he had already seen several times. Ultimately he decide we only got one free meal per room because 'how else could he make money'. It's ashame for the limited awkward/uncomfortable interactions because it would have been a well rounded decent time anyway. read more

LODGED IN HELL! I booked this place using Living Social, thinking I got a great deal for a romantic get away. I am by no means a snob when it comes to accommodations...but damn! My stomach was instantly lurched by the smell we encountered when we opened the door to enter the lodge..and our room, my god was NO better! It is just easier to tell you what did work. The fan over the bed, but we were afraid to touch it as everything else in the room was defective. Lets start with the room window would NOT open to air it out. Air conditioner worked randomly. The light shades in the room were cracked and torn..only one light worked in the room. The TV.......Snowy & not clear....the alarm clock went off at 5 am and we had to unplug it to shut it off and then when we plugged it back in the clock didn't work at all. Not only were the linens/towels dingy...my sweetie (male) would NOT even use the towel he picked up as there were undetectable markings on them. When we tossed the towels on the floor to be replaced...I kid you not, 2 were replaced and ONE DIRTY one was picked up and hung over the shower bar to be REUSED....We were totally disgusted!! The fact that there was only 1 ply toilet paper should be a HUGE clue that this establishment, doesn't really care about the concerns of their clientele. No phone in the room, but an instruction sheet left on the table to utilize one???? We refused to eat ANYTHING that was included with the getaway package...as we couldn't bare to even put anything in our mouths with the smell that permeated this place. The smell, unidentifiable, not cows...THAT would be an improvement!! I am thinking, mold, wet, age, funk, etc..it is not a food smell!! The Lodge as a whole is a let down :[ Our reservation was entered for the wrong date and after several minutes of staff scrambling about we were given room keys. We walked into a freezing room with the window open only to find out the hinge was broken and we could not close it. We ended up switching rooms across the hall and decided to venture out to the dinning room for dinner. Pros: The bar has a beautiful fireplace, it's a pleasant & cozy atmosphere! Front desk ladies save the day with a smile!! After a drink we went down stairs for dinner.. In total we were there for two hours and spent a majority of the time waiting.. The waitress kept apologizing for the timing.. When my father finally got his steak it was cold along with everything else on his plate. My Alfredo pasta was tasteless.. Total let down! The waitress apologized again and comped his meal. As we waited for our check the proclaimed owner loudly complained about the economy... Due to the USA's current state his "millions" are gone and "owes everyone and their brother".. Suggestion: instead of complaining in a room full of CUSTOMERS about how the USA is operating; take a look at the poorly run lodge you're making excuses for.. BED BUG INFESTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My boyfriend and I stayed at the The Lodge at Mount Snow this past winter after booking directly on Mountsnow.com's website. After spending 1 night at The Lodge at Mount Snow we received 70+! bed bug bites!!!! And the next day after finding the bites, we found actual bed bugs in our hotel room, see pictures on google reviews. We reported this issue to the hotel owner, Jim DesRochers, and received very unprofessional and an inadequate support. Mount snow also refused to help further investigate this issue or reimburse us claiming they had no obligation to even though we trusted the room since it was booked directly through mountsnow.com and it seems directly affiliated with their resort and does not state anywhere it is not. In an effort to gather evidence to get our stuff back we spoke to the experts at Superior Bed Bug Solutions, and they made it clear that this is a situation of neglect by the hotel to take care of a serious bed bug infestation prior to our stay. Mr. DesRochers advised us to put our clothes in his hot hotel dryer or he would dry-clean our clothes after we left and mail them to our homes??? No services were offered for treatment of our things that were not able to be put in a dryer (e.g. snowboard boots, computers, suitcases, etc.) and no professional extermination services were offered to us or mentioned at any time. We declined Mr. DesRocher's offers to clean our clothes himself due to his lack of professionalism and knowledge or resources related to the extermination of bed bugs and his neglect to remedy the situation in the hotel room in first place. He also told us he would sell our unused lift tickets and send us the money, we never heard anything again. Without any help, we decided to abandon the majority of our belongings in the hotel room in order to avoid bringing any bed bugs home with us. We left The Lodge at Mount Snow that night. The professionals at Superior Bed Bug Solutions confirmed this was the smartest choice to make at the time. They said based on the number of bites we received after staying one night, there were at least 50 bed bugs in our room. This and based on the facts that a typical bed bug feeds (bites) 1-3 times per day, but does not feed everyday, and the life cycle for a bed bug is approximately one month, they predicted there were around 50+ bed bugs in the room. Mr. DesRochers told us that night that he had been booking the room every night and suggested that the people before us may have brought the bed bugs in, but the professionals said this cannot be true. They also informed us that bed bugs are attracted to used items (such as our dirty clothes etc.), especially fertilized female "hitchhikers" that are the most likely to spread an infestation. So, at this level of an infestation it would have been very easy for us to take the bugs, or eggs that the fertilized females lay on your things, home with us. After receiving no professional options, we asked Mr. DesRochers for compensation for our belongings and he stated the hotel did not make any money so he was incapable of providing this. He also told us he appreciated us not telling the other guests, so I feel he had no plans of telling anyone, including the guests in the rooms adjacent to us. After receiving no help or willingness to compensate us for our lost items from Mr. DesRochers, we spoke to Mount Snow in hopes of getting some help. They said Mr. DesRochers never reported the bed bugs to Mount Snow's booking service, only telling them it was a "customer service issue". After our complaint Mr. DesRochers told Mount Snow that he only treated the room we were in, however, the professionals told us if pesticides were used all adjoining rooms need to be treated to stop the bugs from running to neighboring hotel rooms as they do to avoid the chemicals. Also, a course of treatments over several weeks up to 1 year+ is necessary, because the bed bugs can lay dormant for 18 months. read more

We made a last minute plan to go to Mt. Snow (because it was the only place we could get tickets for MLK weekend) and booked here. It was excellent! Clearly has undergone a very recent refresh. The rooms are clean and tidy. The hospitality was top notch. I too, witnessed the bartender/server/pool maintenance lady, but I think they're just trying their best in a COVID world. The tavern has great ambiance. A small menu, but very tasty. Finally, location really can't be beat unless you're directly on the mountain. Would absolutely stay again! Ah Vermont! Probably my favorite state to visit because well...Snowboarding! Mount snow is definitely an amazing mountain, and this lodge is my new spot when I decide to drive 4+ hours for some decent runs! The prices are probably the cheapest you'll find in the area (less than $70 midweek), the owner Jim is the sweetest guy ever, and the location is absolutely amazing! I've stayed at some pretty shifty places near mountains, and paid more than I did here. The rooms are cozy and dated, but everything was working and clean. The fire was roaring all night and helped dry our gear. Breakfast in the morning was very good! There was actually a chef there that made each order fresh. I actually got to choose HOW I wanted my eggs cooked at a hotel where breakfast was included *mind blown*. I'll definitely be back to this hotel when I drive up to mount snow! read more

Took a weekend trip up to Vermont to escape the city for a couple of days and decided to take advantage of the Living Social deal. All-in-all the experience was fantastic. This starts with great hospitality. Jim, the owner, picked my friend and I up from the Battleboro station to drive us to The Lodge as we took the Amtrack. This was beyond helpful as a cab would have been a nice chunk of change for the ~20 mile distance. Not only did Jim pick us up, but he also dropped us off at the end of our trip AND drove us to our hiking spot on our second day. The rooms and facility are aged, but clean and nice! We wanted a nice "mountain feel" away from the city and you really get that feel when staying at The Lodge. In the summer hiking, water skiing, horseback riding and many other activities are right outside your door. The food was fantastic! Breakfast was great as the other reviews mentioned. Roger and Jimbo cooked and served us our breakfasts and the one dinner that we had at the lodge and everything tasted great. Not to mention the personal "picnic lunch" that they pack you if you buy the Living Social deal. The negative reviews are waaay too harsh and if you come to the Lodge with the right attitude and accept it for what it is: Family-owned, comfortable, cozy mountain lodge then you will by all means love your stay. read more

I have to give this lodge a five star for one reason. Hospitality!! My family was treated by the owner like we were his family. The night of the Eagles vs Patriots Super Bowl He drove us in a blizzard to another bar to watch the game. After an amazing victory in Patriots territory we needed a ride home. No cabs. No Uber. No Lift. No Eagles fans. I called The Lodge at Mount Snow and found the owner willing without hesitation to drive in the heavy snow and pick my family up. This establishment made our weekend the best. Ps. Get over the pictures. Great place to sleep and eat a wonderful breakfast before a day of skiing. The hotel is super clean and is in a great location right near Mount Snow. Room price is reasonable. The staff member who was checking us in was extremely friendly and hospitable. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Southern Vermont area! They have hand sanitizer and extra masks for guests as well! read more

An older property is fine if it is clean and well maintained, but this was not. The walls are randomly patched, furniture is stained and falling apart, TV picture was fuzzy, and the exterior of the building leading to the lounge was in need of repair. Seriously...? - In the second room, I wanted to shower before dinner. The first towel I grabbed had a rather large red streak which I promised myself was ketchup or makeup (avoiding the thought of blood) as I tossed this out of the bathroom. - The toilet seat had completely worn around the edge and felt like sand paper. - Shower had no head, the water spewed out in one small straight line, not quite soothing after a long day of snowboarding. - Bedding smelled worse than the lodge and room itself. Actually needed to remove the comforter because it was making me itchy, and giving me a headache from the smell. - Private steps were covered in ice blocks. - No one at the front desk in the morning to check out, I had to go and look for and find someone. The Lodge at Mount Snow let me start off by saying my boyfriend and I took the amtrak from NYC to Brattleboro and sweet old Jim the owner had someone pick us up from the train station. When we arrived to the lodge we we're showered we love and kindness and the service there was amazing. My bday was jan 5 and I came to celebrate my bday here. I received a bday drink and the bartender name Joe is an amazing bartender and a comedian as well with a great personality. It was really sweet that they remembered my birthday I actually got emotional. The owner Jim he reminds me of Santa Claus full of hope and a great spirit. He was so good to me during my bday weekend, his wife her name is Sarah trust me she rocks, she's fun and she knows how to take care of the visitors that comes to stay at the Lodge. Jim aka boW bow the chef he can cook. I had his chicken burger omgggg it was good and the price is very reasonably and so are the drinks. If you needed something taken care of in the lodge Jim the owner made sure it was taken care of immediately and I loved that about him. At the lodge you are able to look out at the mountain it's a beautiful view. Free breakfast from 7-10 and dinner begins at 6pm-9pm but the bar stays open make sure you tip my Joe!!!!!!! His a great host seriously!!! For activities outside of the lodge there is a shuttle bus that comes every 15 mins and it's a Cow Bus literally and it takes you up to the Mount Snow so you can do all types of snow activities. My boyfriend and I did the snow tube it was our first time and it was amazing next time when we visit we shall do the snowmobile and snowboarding I was a scary cat so we didn't do it lol hahahha. It's a cute spot. Not fancy, not modern, not embellished but it has everything you need for a fun time. Pool tables, jack-box, board games. Breakfast is not bad and dinner is pretty tasty. The rooms are older fashion, so is the lodge decor. It's a nice place to hand w/friends for a night or two - there's a great fire pit out back and the safe at every helpful and friendly. You can BYOB and walk around (anywhere) while drinking. There's a 7-11 down the street that sells liqueur and a nice cozy spot (Dot's Diner) to eat some fresh foods. Stayed there last weekend with my husband and another couple. The rooms look like photos. Unfortunately, the lobby smelled musty and our room smelled like carpet fresh. The other couple's room was fine. Our mattress could definitely use replacing. The bathroom is crying out for re-taping, paint, and replacing of broken floor tiles (probably from someone walking in it with snow boots). We had a mini-fridge that was very convenient. There was also a hair dryer and ample toiletries. Being on the first floor, we could definitely hear noise above us, but, because it was children, the noise ended early (and, actually, started early). We had adjoining rooms with a shared balcony that had a view of Mount Snow. The lodge takes a beating, and it shows. However, looking beyond that, this place was very convenient- you walk down a small hill to the shuttle for Mt Snow. The breakfast was better than I could have hoped for: hot pancakes, eggs, french toast, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fruit, cereal, juices, coffee. Our first night, we ate in the bar, which is in an adjacent building that you get to through an inside breezeway. The food was so so in the bar. We asked for extra crispy chicken wings- they could have been boiled for all we knew- they weren't crispy at all. The chicken quesadilla barely had anything in it. However, the burgers were good, and the caesar salad. The bar had a beautiful stone fireplace with roaring fire, a pool table, a couple of arcade machines, and a foosball table. The drinks were reasonably priced. The second night (a Saturday), we enjoyed this bar again. It had live music- a single guitarist playing some classic tunes, and snacks (pizza rolls and fried mac n cheese bites). There is a restaurant downstairs from the bar. We did not eat in it, but I understand the special they offered- prime rib is delicious. There is a hot tub and exercise room, but we never got to check them out. We had two issues when staying there- the bathtub was not cleaned before our check-in, and there was an issue with our bill. Both issues were quickly addressed to our satisfaction. This place is a bit quieter than the Snow Lake Lodge- and that is the way I like it. No large groups, mostly couples and families. I would definitely consider staying here again. read more

Like a previous review stated, this place is outdated and dirty. Spider webs and dirt on the walls and ceilings. The smell of hospital or bathroom came to mind when we first entered the lodge. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and there is a lot of noises that you can hear from the ceiling when people are walking. The room has two temperatures, sub zero or sauna room, you can't have a decent comfortable temperature. The bathroom shower was also pretty dirty, the water was running nonstop which I think they should fix and the shower head had some brown residue. I felt dirty even after my shower. There is a gym with broken machines in the basement and a Jacuzzi which can fit 2 people. Oh, 56k dial up is probably faster than the WiFi they had there. Just saying. Last year when my friend came here they had a buffet for dinner, this year they charged for most items and only included basic items like chicken or pasta in the living social deal. The bar is decent, has a nice wide open area with board games and an arcade and pool table. Roger, the server who has been serving there for years is a very friendly and nice person. He goes out of his way to help and offer advice for the tourists here. He is the reason this review got 2 stars. The lodge is across from the mountain so the shuttle takes you straight there which is very convenient. If you are renting, make sure you tell them you are otherwise you won't get your credit from the living social voucher. They work with another ski company that is apparently around the corner and you have to rent from them not the mountain. This man, who i presume is the owner or manager, gave me a nice little statement that he does not work with the mountain and if you rented from there there is nothing he could do to reimburse me. Mind you I called while I was at the mountain and one of your workers told me to present a receipt and I will be reimbursed. False info. Thank you for that. He said that he makes the effort to call the group leader or person who booked the stay but my friend never got a call or message whatsoever. Also while checking out, I hear the man yelling at his employee why didn't they get a credit card on file, they could have just jumped and left without paying for the taxes and fees which by the way is also not included in the living social voucher. This review is for the pub only since I (mercifully ) stayed next door at the Inn at Mount Snow. They have an awesome wood-burning fire in the middle of the pub. The BF & I warmed our cold selves in front of it, aided by beverages at around 8 pm on a Thursday night. It was pretty dead, but that was alright with us. All the reviews are accurate. Staff is helpful and friendly. Place is clean (enough) but has a slight run-down feel. The furnishings in the room are basic, clean and relatively new. The mattress is thin and used (not comfortable) but the pillows were fluffy. They allow pets (which is why we stayed here). Bring your ear-plugs though, as the walls are thin and we could hear/feel doors shutting and were subject to "thump thump thump" as the person upstairs walked around. Price is right! read more

I was excited to book a "superior" room for my first wedding anniversary. After driving for several hours, my husband and I were a little frustrated that we had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready. When we finally got to our room, there were two full beds... not exactly what I was picturing for our anniversary trip. They did their best to rectify the situation, but there were other problems, too. The pool was a mess, with equipment and band aids scattered everywhere. The "gym" was a random assortment of really sketchy looking equipment and the water in the hot tub was yellow. Most of the staff was kind and helpful, although the man at the front desk made a homophobic slur that I wish I had been brave enough to call him on. The one good part of our trip was our meal at the restaurant - it was absolutely delicious and the staff there was hard working and friendly. read more

Really nice few days. The Inn is just what I would expect in mellow Vermont. Relaxed, quaint, cozy. Nice all you can eat breakfast in the morning along with a very good ravioli dinner at night, after a day on the slopes. If your looking for the Ritz Carlton, your looking at the wrong place. If your looking for a friendly, cute, comfortable place to kick back after a terrific day outside, this is it. Oh yeah, the fireplace in the lodge is great! read more

Had an absolutely wonderful trip to Vermont. The Lodge at Mount Snow is a simple resort, and the decor is a little dated; however, don't let that deter you. The SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT (Roger was awesome at breakfast), and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Additionally, the portions in the restaurant were huge and the breakfasts (at least during weekdays) were cooked to order. The only reason the lodge doesn't get 5 stars is that it could be a little noisy (but they do have quiet hours), and the cleaning solution was so scented (not bad smelling) that it made my asthma flare up. Other than that, it was a comfortable and charming place to get a good night's rest after skiing. Will definitely be back again. read more

This place is awesome!!! Perhaps not embellished fanciful baroqueism (which I also enjoy when I feel like spending the extra money and plan to spend most of my time in the room); but it doesn't claim to be and it's unpretentious accommodations have all the amenities. The people that wrote bad reviews are the same people you meet that expect something for nothing; they paid VERY reasonable pricing for ON MOUNTAIN (lifts are 500 yards from the back door and there's even a shuttle running back and forth) accommodation and expect state of the art luxury. Sure the place is dated, but clean and very comfortable and hospitable. There's an awesome "bar/lounge/handout" area with a massive fire and an affordable bar that leaves u feeling part of an extended family. And the "breakfast included" is one of the best I've ever had; Roger, your host, clearly takes great pride ensuring you get a hearty, hot breakfast. If you're a serious skier and go places for the mountain access and a relaxed atmosphere, you'll enjoy The Lodge at Mount Snow; The owners Jim and Sarah could not be more affable, hospitable and generous. And the pet friendly atmosphere was a huge plus. I'll be going back for sure. Thanks Jim and Sarah (and staff) for a wonderful fun filled relaxing weekend. I wish I had looked at these reviews before buying the Living Social deal. Way too good to be true. Be ware aware of the puffery in the ad. We were never offered the voichers for the massage or canoing mentioned in the voucher. Looked very kid and pet friendly. I walk in and am smacked in the face by the smell of air fresheners, cleaners, pets, and old musty decor. The furniture in the place needs to be updated. It looks dirty, like 30 years of people have been sitting on it and it's not very inviting. We went in the room, and there were half assed repairs to the walls and doors. The walls were so thin, that you could hear any conversations, doors, and even toilet lids loudly, all the time. The dining staff were very pleasant and attentive. I felt misled by the offering for meals at the lodge. The surf and turf dinner was a buffet in a dimly lit room. Being pregnant, I couldnt participate in the offerings and my vegetarian boyfriend only had the mac and cheese. Which was the only ok thing about our stay. The picnic lunch was turkey or ham sandwiches, so again, we couldn't partake. And going off of dinner, I didn't care to even check out breakfast. My 6'2 boyfriend and i couldnt fit on the single bed in our room, so we slept in separate beds. The mattress was sparse with support and very loud every time.you touch the bed. The bedding had other people's hair on it as well as hair in the tub. I was glad i brought my own linens. Great foliage view, but I didn't bother to stay the second night of the voucher. Dont waste your time or money. read more

Im so glad I found the Lodge at Mt Snow. My family and I love staying here for our ski trips to Mt Snow. The lodge is so conveniently located to the mountain and simple to get to. The staff at the Lodge is INCREDIBLE. They are all so friendly, kind and helpful and truly make our experience great here. Jim the owner is fantastic! The food (especially breakfast) is amazing. Plenty of options and a full serving to get you ready for the day. The bar/lounge area is a blast to hang out with, perfect if you are traveling with a group. There is plenty of drinks and great live music. I highly recommend the Lodge at Mt Snow, it is the perfect Vermont experience! read more
