After spending a few hours gambling at Cache Creek, we had to stop and have a quick meal. We found this place among several fast food and coffee shops inside Cache Creek. It's so simple to order from their menu. They have a board where you can find their menu. They serve a variety of Mexican food. Once you ordered and paid, you will be seated in a food court and wait for your order to be called We ordered the nachos. It has several layers of chips, topped with refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, and stripped chicken. It's a huge portion and generous. If you want a quick meal and can't wait to play the slot machines or play cards, this place is a go-to quick food place

Molcajete?! In a casino with a restaurant name that includes express? Yeap! Surprised me too! Not a common menu item, but one of my favorite items to try when I can find it! What is Molcajete? Fajitas in a hot bowl with a flavorful liquid. Usual ingredients are; chicken, steak, cactus, cheese, onions, bell peppers, and hot peppers. I've had it with chorizo also. Served with beans, rice, and tortillas. The Molcajete at Loco Express is good! The bowl is not heated, instead of being in a flavorful liquid the ingredients were on top of lettuce. Enough food for 2 hungry people. There's a salsa bar with a red & green sauce, onions & cilantro, and jalapenos. Looking forward to trying other items! Cheer! Eric

Food was delicious, workers were polite & friendly, service was fast & food was authentic. I would definitely eat here again. We got a nacho and chicken burrito. Both big enough to share.

Not my first time eating here but it's nice to have consistency and good tasting meals every time. Staff is always so nice and even when the casino is crowded you can expect to get your food really quickly. I like the assortment of choices and the prices are pretty good, even better that you are able to use your points or food vouchers for an even better discount. There is some seating, but keep in mind that when it's crowded you will have to be vigilant of when a table opens up therefore weekday trips to the casino are the best. Oh and their tortilla chips are sooooo good. If you like coke with your meal keep in mind they only have Pepsi. Choice of corn or flour tortillas with meals.

Fish tacos, where is the fish?

I always get the fish tacos when I eat at this place. They were well served and good. I went there today and there was hardly any fish on my them, it was more tortilla than anything else. I asked the cook if this was it and he just said "sorry". I'm disappointed.

Not overly expensive for what you get. But what you get, isn't that great. I ordered a chimichanga for $10.25 (which thanks to a $5 voucher, I only paid $5.25 for it). In short, it was a warm mush. Doesn't deserve to be called a chimichanga. The pros: - warm - has beef - guac was pleasant - sizable for the price - will make the average person full The cons: - lacks salt - lacks depth - lacks flavor - corn and black beans don't mesh well - beef is more like pulled pork from my 6th grade cafeteria. - sauce they put on the top tastes like Chef Boyardee but in a bad way. They need to cut this out and make a new sauce for people. - for a chimichanga, it should be crispy. It was very slightly at first, but as I'm halfway through it, it's soggy now. I wish this had some sort of redeeming quality, but it doesn't. It's a terrible chimichanga that does not deserve to be called a chimichanga, and I highly do not recommend getting it. Rating: 6/10 total disappointment

I came here to have a quick bite to eat as unfortunately, I needed to head back to work from there. I ordered the nachos with carne asada for $10 dollars. The nachos were a Taco Bell like style where the cheese was queso, loaded it with the sauce that I had a pool of cheese at the very tend. The meat itself was great with the guacamole, tomato sour cream. Beware it is very filling as I got full from this and even though I finished it I needed to walk around the casino to burn the rest of the food. I would come back here again if I am in a rush to eat a meal.

My parents eat here all the time for lunch! They usually order the chili verde plate with an extra side of rice. Today I tried it with them! The staff were extremely nice and very attentive. I had the carne asada tacos that were a good deal. $8. They have a lot of meat that was juicy and seasoned well. I feel the salsa was bomb! Very spicy, just how I like it. Everyone had nothing but good things to say. The portion sizes were big. Nachos were perfect to share. We had leftovers too!

If you're in a hurry and want to experience a fiesta of flavor, come here. You can find quick-service mouthwatering Mexican favorites like burritos, soft corn tacos, quesadillas, and salads, all made with your choice of savory chicken, shredded beef, shrimp, tofu, or Baja-style fish.

Every tasted fresh and delicious. The staff are really impressive how quickly they get the food out and turning over the tables, with a constant line at 9pm. I am truly impressed. I had the #1 steak meal, which was good put will probably go for the fajita and nachos next time -just was craving steak and they didn't have a steak fajita :( . The person in front of me said the nachos are great, the quote was "fire". The salsa bar had the essentials and was kept clean. Looking forward to coming back.

We ordered the chile relleno plate. The chile relleno itself was flavorful and probably the highlight of the meal, but the beans were disappointing. They lacked flavor, and the appearance wasn't very appetizing. Based on other reviews, we wanted to try the carnitas on the side, but were told there would be about a 1.5-hour wait. We also attempted to order a breakfast burrito and were told that if we "really wanted it," they would make it. That response felt a little odd and made us unsure whether it was something they normally offered at that time. We also ordered an al pastor quesadilla. The meat was flavorful and enjoyable, but it only came with lettuce and tomato. There was no sour cream or guacamole included, which was surprising compared to what we're used to receiving with similar dishes elsewhere. The chips served were store-bought rather than house-made. Overall, there were a few good items, particularly the chile relleno and al pastor, but between the strong bleach smell, inconsistent menu experience, and sides that fell short, this wasn't a place that stood out enough for us to return.

Always a good time at C2!…read more I don't always make the trek here, but when I do, I make sure to visit C2. The service is superb. The staff is courteous and friendly, and they check on you during almost every course to get feedback. The dim lighting, personal lamp on every table, and white tablecloths give it the classic steakhouse feel. They used to have these cool light-up menus that illuminated as you opened them. I'm a little sad they don't have those anymore due to vendor issues--it was a small, thoughtful detail that really made a mark on me. The food is great. The steak is always perfectly seasoned--not overly salty or overdone, just right to the point where I don't need to add anything else. Even the roasted bulb of garlic that comes with the steak is perfect for adding extra flavor if I want to. The sides are what you'd expect from a classic steakhouse. One thing that sets them apart, though, is the bread. They always have a great variety, plus a huge helping of butter on the side. If this place were closer to home, I'd probably be here every other month. So it's probably a good thing that it's far away.

I honestly don't know why there weren't lines out the door of people waiting on a table…read more My husband and I have been here twice, and both visits were outstanding. Let's start with the salsa. I don't know what they put in their salsa. I know the main ingredients of salsa, but their salsa? Oh my gosh. It is delicious. It's my favorite salsa. I'm sitting here stuffed from dinner, and I still want some right now. My husband loves the chorizo burrito. He's ordered it both times we've visited. It's this big, gigantic burrito that looks impossible to eat, but somehow he manages. On our most recent visit, we ordered the chicken flautas as an appetizer. First of all, the flautas themselves were delicious. The seasoning on the chicken had flavors that felt familiar, but with a twist of something I've never had before. And the smokiness of the sauce on the flautas? Delicious. Just absolutely delicious. I also ordered the salmon, which was perfectly seasoned. I believe it normally comes with vegetables, but mine came with a salad instead. Whatever the reason, that salad was outstanding. It was so fresh and flavorful. There may have been apple, pear, or jicama in it... I honestly couldn't tell... but every bite was delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic, too. Elena took care of us on both visits. She makes it feel like you're visiting somebody's home. She is absolutely warm and hilarious at the same time. What really surprised me was that she remembered the beverage my husband ordered on our previous visit. I was like, "How long ago was that? Three months ago?" Another young lady came around and asked how we were doing as well. Very hospitable. Again, I really can't believe there weren't lines out the door. I mean, it's a cool crowd, don't get me wrong. But y'all are asleep. Don't sleep on this place. Y'all need to get there. I'm telling you... just wait.

Unfortunately, the food is where things fell apart. When I walked in, I asked if they had a super burrito since I didn't see it on the menu. The gentleman taking my order said they did, so I ordered a carne asada super burrito. A regular burrito on the menu was listed at $8.99, but my super burrito came out to a little over $16 after tax. I also noticed Yelp lists the super burrito at $10.99, so maybe the prices have changed, but that's still a pretty big jump from the regular burrito. The burrito itself was huge, but after the first few bites, I was honestly disappointed. The carne asada was unusually stringy and fatty, which isn't something I've ever experienced with carne asada burritos before. I kept eating, expecting to get to the guacamole, sour cream, and salsa, but by the halfway point I decided to cut the burrito open. It turned out almost all of those ingredients were packed into the very bottom instead of being distributed throughout. The guacamole also had a sour taste that didn't seem right. I also noticed the burrito I received looked nothing like the photos posted here on Yelp, so I'm not sure if the recipe has changed since those pictures were taken. As someone who loves burritos and rarely passes one up, this was, unfortunately, one to forget. The free fountain drink and chips were a nice bonus, but they couldn't make up for the burrito itself. I genuinely wish this restaurant the best because the staff were excellent, but the food just didn't live up to my expectations.
