I went wine tasting with my friend down the street and we were very hungry after! We walked into Chuy's and everything sounded amazing! I went with the taco plate and I love that you have an option to pick what meat you want on each taco! My friend ordered the potato tacos and those were delicious too! Our server was so sweet, friendly and ready to help us. She truly had great customer service and a great attitude! They have an open salsa bar where you can refill your salsa cups and I really liked the mild salsa! This is a great spot to fulfill your Mexican food craving!

You can never bite off more than you can chew at Chuy's. If you're ever in the area or passing through, Chuy's offer great authentic Mexican food in the Town of Winters. Friendly and quick service too:) I love everything on the menu but their crispy taco is always a must. Plenty of choices for meat, but I would say carnitas never disappoints. If you're having a tough day choosing, you can always get a combo plate w/ an enchilada, rice, beans, salad and the choice of a soft or crispy taco. Trust me go w/ crispy! What I also like is it's super affordable. The prices and quantity & quality are worth it.

I've been coming here for years & it's still great! The crispy tacos are stuffed to the brim with your meat of choice - mine were chicken & carnitas! My friend had a chicken fajita salad which came out hot & was delicious. They also have a salsa bar, which was convenient. There were many tables inside & they also have patio seating (you just have to order your food inside & then seat yourself outside). The decor inside is colorful & our waitress was friendly & helpful. I will definitely be back for years to come!!

Eh, it's ok. Had a cool little outdoor patio. Maybe i'm spoiled living in the bay area where there is so much really good Mexican cuisine but i was a little disappointed. First off, it was kind of pricey. It was ~75.00 for a family of 4 and my youngest usually splits a plate with mama bear. Secondly, I ordered a 3 taco plate and thankfully they put salsa on my tacos because the Al Pastor was hard. They beans and rice were just ok too, a little on the bland side. Luckily I had a michelada to wash it all down lol. In closing, I'm sure this place is a big hit with the locals and the location and outdoor patio is great but I just don't see me coming back. One thing that was kind of funny was one of the staffers didn't know what Ketchup was haha.

Tried the Taco truck today in Vacaville. On frontage road by the Nut Tree airport. I got a regular chicken taco and a super burrito with carnitas. This was my first go at a taco truck. The flavor of the taco was really good. Better than most sit down restaurants. The burrito was HUGE! The star was the carnitas. I like crispy carnitas. There was a balance of crispiness and tenderness to the pork. I would recommend a pit stop here.

Service was EXCELLENT! i had the shrimp and carne asada plate, Sunday special. The shrimp in this dish were delicious. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned, rice flavorful and and beans taste great. Steak fajitas were good a little on the bland side but the delicious salsa was the perfect pairing! We will be back!

This has been my go to local burrito joint since I can remember. The family that owns the restaurant is fantastic and have always put out some of the best taqueria style Mexican food you can buy. The Truck is just as good as the restaurant, with great service.

The service was very attentive. You get a good value for your meal. But, it wasn't outstanding. We sat down and the server asked us if we wanted some chips. We answered that we did, only to find out that it cost 2.50, which isn't a lot of money for the amount of chips served. It was just strange that they wouldn't say that up front or give us the menu first so that we just knew it was not gratis. The salsa had a canned tomato sauce taste, definitely not fresh. I had the birria taco, the meat was tender and flavorful. It would've been perfect if the taco was crispy, or at a minimum not oily. The enchilada and chili relleno were good. We plan to come back here and give it another try.

My mom was craving fried fish, so she ordered the mojarra frita, which came out perfectly crisp and flavorful. I got the fajitas mixtas (beef, chicken, and shrimp), which were generous enough to share, and my dad enjoyed a refreshing coctel de camarón. But beyond the food, what really stood out were the stunning backlit acrylic artworks lining the walls. I spoke with our server and learned the owners are from Nayarit, and the images reflect that cultural pride--featuring traditional Wixárika (Huichol) attire, sacred symbols, and vibrant coastal scenes. The whole atmosphere feels like an homage to ancestral roots and spiritual connection. We finished the meal with a lava cake and vanilla ice cream--warm, rich, and the perfect closing note to an already memorable experience. It's not just a restaurant--it's a visual and sensory experience that honors Mexico's coastal and Indigenous beauty. Definitely worth a stop if you're anywhere nearby. We will be back!

We had about a 10-15 minute wait, which honestly wasn't bad considering how busy they were. The menu had a lot of great-looking options. Two friends ordered the chicken fried steak, another ordered a veggie/Mediterranean-style omelet, and I had the carnitas huevos rancheros since I'm gluten-free. Portions were generous and the food was good, though not necessarily something I'd rave about. The biggest issue during our visit was the service. Drinks and ordering started off fine, but when the food came out only two of the four meals arrived. My friend and I ended up waiting quite a while longer and had to flag someone down to check on our meals. We were told the ticket must have gotten mixed up and our food would be out shortly. By the time our dishes arrived, our other friends were basically done eating. One side order was also forgotten. To their credit, they did remove that item and gave us 50% off the delayed dishes, which we appreciated. I completely understand that busy restaurants can get hectic, but better communication and table follow-up would have made a huge difference. Overall, cute spot with decent food and good portions -- just hoping the service experience improves.

My favorite thing about lunch today (5/7/26) was the service. The food was good, but the service was excellent. Upon arrival, my first time here I peered into the interior of the restaurant to see if my relative had arrived. I was immediately greeted by a very nice young man behind the counter. I exited the building and sat down at one of their exterior tables so my cousin could easily spot me, and the same very nice young man came out and brought me a menu to review while I was waiting for my cousin to arrive. Once she arrived, we went inside and ordered our meals, and returned to their outside seating. They have an open chips and salsa bar which was great as we waited for our meals. A short while later, another nice young man (with braids) came out to clear the table and offer drink refills. They were both very kind, accommodating and engaging.
