I seriously cannot believe this guy runs a business. He has a below average understanding and…read moreability to conduct business. I initially went to him to figure out what I needed to replace my remote key. He said I only needed a key remote case for it. Ok, easy right? Got that and came back, then he says I need a code from the dealership for programming. Got that and returned again. He then finally took the key apart and smiled stupidly at me and said only needed a battery. I got a battery then again went back. At this point he breaks off the part that has the battery attached. He needed to solder it back for it to work. A few months pass anf it seems to work. I go back because the part breaks off again so the battery isn't making contact. He takes 45 minutes to solder the piece. It works then later in the evening it doesn't and to top it off the key falls out, I am forced to go back. He says do I have time to wait 45 minutes -1hour. My friend and I have to drop off the key and pick it up the next day. It still doesn't work and the actual key isn't properly attached to the remote AGAIN! He just stupidly smiles and says well it's not supposed to work forever do you want to wait so I can fix it again? Definitely not! Do not go here ever. He does not care about clients being content with the finished product and has no sense of urgency. Choose someone competent!

I should have checked here first. The first review was accurate. They quoted a range I figured I…read morewould be on the low end of that range but they ended up charging at the very top of the range. $95 for a 1 minute job. RIP OFF! In response to the owners response: I'm a field technician and I service PC's and network equipment in homes and businesses all over Los Angeles County. If I went to a house and fixed their problem and it took 1 minute to do I would feel like a crook charging them $100. This does happen to me and in that case I offer to do something else for their hard earned dollar. Customers are very happy to have me do something else and appreciate my honesty and integrity. That's how I get repeat customers. Your overpaid locksmith ($66 a minute) could have made us a set of keys or something! Instead he took the money and ran. This was not to get into our house but to our back storage room. If I was at the house and he said $95 I would have told him to leave and I would have broke the door knob off and replaced it for far less than you charged. Unfortunately I was not home and my parents, who don't speak very much English, were there and I feel they were taken advantage of. This is valuable information to you. You are welcome!

This was one of the most negative experiences that I have ever had with a service provider. While I…read morefound the company on Yelp, I should have better read the Yelp reviews which warned of this place. The quote for a service call was a relatively reasonable $35, but when they arrived, they wanted to charge $120 on top of the service call to 'try to open the lock'! To make matters even worse, 'if picking the lock didn't work', they would conveniently be able to 'up-sell' services! The costs could quickly escalate to more than $200-$300+! Sure enough, they weren't able to pick the lock, so then proceeded to try to sell services to drill the lock and knock the door down, replacing with new locks, new doorknobs, new keys, etc! No thank you! I paid the $35 service fee and found an alternative, less expensive and intrusive way to open the door.
