They then called me telling me to buy a worse laptop from them for $100-off a $900 laptop (the one they broke was $1500). Two of the TVs were straight forward but the third one was extremely complicated. I wanted all the components hidden in a closet 5 feet away. As a result, the wires had to not only go down vertically but also horizontally to the closet. In addition to Pro Technology Solutions, I called up two other companies and both seemed uncertain about how to get it done. Jeff and Dave from Pro Technology Solutions came out and without a hesitation, told me it was not that big a deal. Furthermore, after discussing speaker options with them ( I wanted really small speakers that seemed almost hidden), they convinced me on a sound bar that fit the length of my TV and almost feels like it's part of the TV. They suggested a great sound bar that is appropriate for the room saving me almost $500. I have this 10 year old Denon receiver that is very dear to me and ideally, I wanted to use that instead of buying a new receiver. Again, Jeff and Dave came through for me and it sounds better than ever. I now have it connected to my BluRay DVD player, my I-pod and HD cable. Now, it's a real joy to watch movies or listen to music in my living room. Also, the sound bar they suggested was out of stock on all websites so when it became available, Jeff and Dave came back for a few hours to hook it up. With regards to price, they are extremely reasonable. I actually felt they didn't charge me appropriately for all the work they did and the hours they put in so I paid them more than the invoice. At the end, all the room look exactly as I wanted, thanks to Pro Technology Solutions.

I used Pro Technology Solutions to do my complete custom built basement. The work they do is…read moreunbelievable. They did a matrix system for me in my basement meaning that no equipment other than the TVs of course live in the open space, all my equipment is in my utility room on a rack. They first designed the AV plan, then they did all the pre-wiring. When the drywall was done they hung three TVs, a 65 inch plasma, a 42 inch plasma in a custom bar (unbelievable) and a LCD in our exercise room. I have a very high end sound bar that they somehow mounted with the 65 inch plasma that will blow you away. They installed 7 ceiling speakers and two in wall speakers. All the equipment I purchased from them is high end equipment consisting of two receivers, subs, amps, blu rays, switches the list goes on and on. Also they installed Sonos players in my basement, upstairs family room and on our patio with outdoor speakers. As you can see I used them for everything, top to bottom and I can honestly say that it was the best experience my wife and I have had with any company we have hired to do work on our home. Jeff and Dave are also great guys and that means allot, they work with you and at the end of the day they just want to make sure your happy with your AV equipment and the work they did. I don't care what anyone thinks, you will be hard pressed to find a company in the Chicago land area that can do the work that Jeff and Dave can, they make it easy for what other companies seem they are uncomfortable doing and I am talking about the big Audio Visual companies. I am very particular when it comes to my house and I will never have anyone work on my Audi Video needs unless it is Pro Technology Solutions.

I truly feared all of my files were gone forever. Wedding pictures, baby photos, and vacations we'd taken over the years. Plus all my music and video files. I was unsuccessful with a previous computer store, located on Ogden ave, figuring out the reason my…read morehigh end gaming PC would crash while running games. They ran their tests, charged me a fee and could not replicate the failure. Once I got the computer home, it crashed once the game was being played and they said they did everything they could and I was out of luck. I decided months later to see Adam at nerd rangers. He was very thorough in gaining background on the issue. He asked me whether the other repair shop tried to run the actual game? I was not sure so he went ahead and loaded Fortnite and said he would do his best to replicate the issue. Later that day he reached out to let me know that he believes he found the reason the game crashed (as it did for him) and he felt confident that he fixed the issue. When I went to pick up the computer he reassured me that if for some reason the fix didn't work he would continue to work with me to identify the problem. Happy to report that I've run multiple games with zero crashes and everything is running fine. The level of service, detailed questions and customer care was excellent. Thanks Adam!

I thought our printer was completely toast when it stopped working last week after endless paper…read morejams. The printing had been lackluster any way, so I wanted to buy a new one. I'm so glad we didn't! My boss found PC Closure and had them come out for a super reasonable rate (xerox charges $299 for 30 minutes and PC Closure charged us just a one time fee of $85 and ONLY IF they could fix it). Kenton was our tech and he was phenomenal. He fixed the jam problem and got the printer to work again but didn't stop there - he cleaned the entire printer and it prints like new! The colors are so vibrant. I am so so happy with PC Closure. They made my life so much easier. I'd call them with any problem in the future.
