5 of us went for a birthday on 10/28/2025. We had swordfish, shortribs, bone-in veal parm and double bone pork chop We have been here many times, as well as other establishment they have. Sorry to say, the shortribs were short on food. the veal parm was not as it used to be, it was not crispy and lots of breading, and the pork chop was tasty but overdone for a resturaunt of this caliber. The Lock keeper is a very classy establishment with classic warm decor. The server was top notch and knew the menu very well. The food is Italian and it will rival little Italy here in Cleveland. This is one of our favorite restaurants! The ambience and atmosphere is so beautiful. The interior is very upscale but at the same time relaxing and not pretentious or snobbish. Beautiful craftsmanship like wood work and the lighting is really beautiful. The service has always been excellent. We had a party of 3 and I loved my meal. My dining partner felt the same . A wonderful birthday dinner with my family! The food at Lockkeepers is always top-notch. It's an Italian restaurant, but very high-end. The eight of us had a lovely meal celebrating mine and my sister-in-law's birthdays. The dining room was full but it was still a rather intimate meal. The beef carpaccio was a hit at the table (the mushrooms nearly upstaged the beef itself) and I really enjoyed my tomato and artichoke soup. For our entrees, the special tonight was a halibut with spring vegetables which three people in our party enjoyed. Pictured you will see the chicken Parmesan (enough for two meals for sure) as well as the beef short ribs. Recently I was part of a birthday celebration. Our server Ashton was attentive and efficient. The restaurant has a comfortable ambiance and we went early and it wasn't crowded. The parking is a challenge so come early or use valet. The food is okay and the portions are small except the chicken parmigiana was large and delicious. Some items like the chopped salad needs a hard reset. The group gave a thumbs up on the olive oil cake. We will return soon and explore more options. read more

LockKeepers is consistently awesome! The ambiance, service and food are always excellent. Their Happy Hour is one of my favorites. They also have a pretty deck/patio that is perfect for sipping Spritz in the summer. Their menu is creative and offers a good variety of options for all tastes. I absolutely love their pasta dishes but their salads and meat dishes are fantastic too. If the watermelon and tomato salad is on the menu - get it! It's expensive AF but it's huge (perfect for sharing, but you'll want to eat it all!) and absolutely perfect. Be sure to try their craft cocktails - their bartenders kill it! read more

High ceilings, surrounded by rich wood walls, with a casual luxury feel describes this fine restaurant's ambiance! The dinner menu has variety in meat, pasta, and vegetable fares. The pricing is mid level and includes full courses; not "ala-carte". The night we went they were very busy and service was slower than usual. Our waiter, Chris, was attentive and very knowledgable on entries and wines! There was a misstep in the kitchen on my duck entry but the manager apologized and countered with an invoice adjustment and some free fabulous desserts. This was a special occasion as my wife and daughter were celebrating their birthdays! Everyone was very happy with their dishes, scallops, seafood risotto so the evening was a success! Lockkeepers hasn't been around this long without knowing what it's doing. It is perfection in service and quality. I was there Easter Sunday with my family. I arrived a little earlier than the reservation and sat at the bar for a short while and the bartenders were the ultimate in professionalism. When we were seated, Caryn was our server. Caryn could move to NYC right now and work in the best 5 star restaurant and make a fortune. She didn't ignore us but she also didn't rush us. She gave us plenty of time to enjoy the ambiance as well as the delicious choices. We all felt extremely pampered. Thank you to the entire staff for making our meal and experience fabulous-everyone there was very professional. Also, the food was delicious as always--I highly recommend the seafood risotto. Our 1st visit to Lockkeepers and won't be our last. Many items on the menu we would like to go back and try. Food & ambiance were both amazing. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was the service. Our waitress was fabulous, but additional staff and sometimes our server were overzealous in removing plates and asking if we were done & interrupting our celebration & conversation. It made us feel very rushed the entire meal. This will not stop us from returning or trying one of the other restaurants in the group. We were treated very well & our son was given complentary homemade pizelles with a candle, homemade whip cream & chocolate ganache to celebrate his birthday. Our appetizers we split & dinners were amazing, full of flavor & depth, served timely & hot and cooked perfectly. I have added pictures of the dishes & description. One of, if not the best filet mignon I've ever had and all of the food was spectacular. The lodge style ambiance was perfect for our date and our waiter was very kind and professional, even going above and beyond to pick an amazing Italian red wine based on our description of what we like. Had a gift card and tried this place for the first time (we only live minutes away so it was a surprise that we'd never been before). Overall impressive! A little pricey, so the gift card came in handy. Everything we had was very good. Their house marinara is tasty and complimented the Italian dishes well, and a pork chop special wrapped in prosciutto was excellent, as was the Lockkeepers salad. Above all else was the super attentive service and staff here. We were never lacking for anything, and a shoutout to our kind and efficient server Kade. Was here for a dinner party event up stairs. I found the weight staff to be very kind and helpful but the food was cold and over salted. It was way better presented and just disappeared in taste. We had the steak and mushroom risotto. For dessert we had the tiramisu and chocolate, lava cake. Both desserts were huge and presented nicely. They lacked freshness and came out frozen. We were also not offered coffee or tea with dessert which would have been nice. Maybe the main dining room has better actual food. Parking was also horrible and confusing. There were no spots when we showed up at 5:15 and was still maxed to the brim with people circling when we left at 7pm. read more

Yes please! This place was amazing! The decor was nice but not too stuffy. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and very pleasant. They were a little slow to bring our food but I was in good company and we didn't mind at all. The food was out of this world! I had the truffle gnocchi and it was some of the best I e ever had. My friend had one of the specials, short rib and risotto. It was fabulous! Prices were not outrageous and fair for the excellent dining experience. I definitely recommend! read more

We had not been to lock keepers in years weren't staying away for any reason but wanting to try other places. We just went back and we were blown away. Our meals were fantastic and service amazing. I had the lobster ravioli which were very filling with a great lemon citrus sauce that was very light and delicious. Lisa had the pork torca which was king of like a delectable pulled pork rolled up, breaded in Pablo bread crumbs and served on a bed of pasta fagoule. Like the ravioli it was amazing. Wow! What a beautiful restaurant that is all about a quality experience from beginning to end. Complimentary valet parking, and complimentary coat check had me feeling like a VIP, and set the tone for the evening. I felt completely catered to right away, with a server setting down ice cold waters, and a bread basket for me and my guest, and asking what I'd like to drink. Our server for the evening, I believe her name was Gretchen, was a delight with both professionalism while also having a fun banter. I asked her about one wine that I wasn't familiar with, the Langhe Nebbiolo, but then chose a glass of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. When she brought my glass of Cab, she also brought a small sample of the wine that I was curious about, which I loved and ended up ordering as my next glass of wine! I appreciate her thoughtfulness and the opportunity to branch out of my comfort zone wine-wise. My friend also tasted some of my sample and ordered a glass for herself too! The burrata was creamy, mild, and perfectly complimented by the sweetness of the pepperonata. We used the bread from our table as a vehicle for the burrata, and it was absolutely delicious! The oil tapenade served with the bread is also very good, with great tasting olive oil and fruity olives! My seafood pasta was divine!!! The pasta is made in house, fresh, chewy, and perfectly Al dente. The seafood was high quality, and the plate was served nice and hot! The calamari have been a tad overcooked, just a bit too firm for my liking, but that's easy to do with shellfish. The sauce was flavorful, rich, with the perfect amount of spicy bite, not too overwhelming. The dish went perfectly with my wine choices! Of course we could have ended there, but of course we had to split the tiramisu, and each had a mug of decaf coffee. The coffee was the perfect temperature, not burn your mouth hot. The tiramisu was out of this world!!! The most perfect combination of cool, creamy, not too sweet, perfection of dessert!!! All in all, from service, to ambiance, to food and drink, this place is well worth the money. It surpassed all my expectations! Thank you! read more
