Wow. Our server happened to be the owner. She was fun and kind. The sausage stuffed peppers were a great start. A little bit of spice, the sausage was tasty, and the sauce - don't even get me started on the sauce. I've been going to local Italian places the last few months one at a time. I like to make ky sauce from fresh tomatoes and ingredients. No paste, canned/jarred sauce, it's all authentic. The sauce at Valenti's is the only restaraunt sauce I've ever tasted that I'd consider using as a base for mine. Freaking great. Highly recommend.

Great traditional Italian restaurant!! Such a fun atmosphere with live music on a Saturday night. Devoured my bread, pasta and wine! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

    Lobster ravioli - delicious!

Lovely evening at Valenti's. Dana provided wonderful service, making sure all of our needs were met. The meatballs and calamari both tasted wonderful. Out of our group of six, three had the special braised short ribs and all enjoyed. I went with lobster ravioli and savored this rich dish. Son & I shared the cupcake cannoli. We got the last one. Phew! Good reason to have dinner early. Others went with the triple layer chocolate raspberry cake, which was divine. Recommend sharing!

My quest for Northeast Ohio's best veal parmesan continues. Visited Valenti's for the first time last Wednesday. Located in a fairly generic strip center. When we walked in , we were met by the hostess who asked if we had a reservation....we did not. Not an issue as the we were the only ones in the dining room for a little while. The bar area was a different story. Every seat taken, a small combo was playing polka music and Italian standards. My wife and I are in our mid-sixties. We felt like the kids in the place. Service was prompt and friendly. Out waiter was probably new, but a nice enough kid who did a good job. Food was solid, portion size decent and came with excellent bread. Also had a Manhattan (very good) and a nice glass of Chianti. Dining room did fill up a little after we arrived. Decent enough experience. No real complaints, but no compelling reason to return. A solid, local spot that satisfies on most counts.

Brunch was great, nice quite low key Sunday. Accommodated 7 people. They had one eggs Benedict left and my husband and I split it, was good too.

We visited on a Wednesday and were greeted with a singer when we first walked in- so nice to still see live music especially on a week day! We chose to eat outside which was very clean. Menu had tons of pasta options- even a pizza pasta which we unfortunately did not get. We enjoyed an appetizer, Caesar salad, and margarita pizza (all are posted below). Service was great, we had two waitresses frequently coming outside to check on us.

Back again, this time with friends as Valenti's is following all covid guidelines and so we feel safe dining here. The kitchen is back to normal operation and all menu items are available as well as some very unique specials. The Italian sushi appetizer was one of the specials. Prosciutto and cheese, sun dried tomatoes inside wrapped with risotto and a basil leaf. It was so delicious we ordered a second serving! They also offered a lobster claw martini appetizer which was like a ceviche, we didn't order it but it was a nice choice for a summer menu. For dinner they had a mojito seafood special (halibut or swordfish was available). Three of us ordered the halibut. It was served on a bed of risotto with a basil lime sauce. They used food science techniques to create little pellets of lime that you break and they season the fish. A perfect light dish for a summer evening. One friend had the other special which was Chicken Saltimbocca. I tried some, very tender and flavorful. Was happy to hear that the homemade cannoli where back, so of course we had to have some. Yes, they make their own shells and fill them to order so you get a nice crisp shell with wonderful filling. I was told that with covid, the kitchen has the time to be creative and it shows. They have really stepped up their game.

Real good Italian cuisine! Pricey but when you think of what you spend at other chain crap food they knock it out of the park.

Chicken parmigiana, shrimp scampi, service, and drinks were great. Veal was tough. Didn't care for the diced olives served with bread.

Our server, Alecia, was absolutely top tier! She was super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about all things Via Roma. I had originally looked over the menu online, but thanks to her salesmanship, we completely changed course and I'm soooo glad we did! She recommended the fritto misto to start, which was phenomenal. The house-made focaccia bread was perfectly baked and full of flavor. My dad, visiting from California, ordered the veal tortellini which was super flavorful and honestly something I would've ordered myself. I went with the Parmigiano with chicken, which was to die for! The chicken was perfectly breaded and bursting with flavor. My son had the braised short ribs, and the creamy polenta they came with was hands down one of the best I've ever tasted! I literally couldn't resist stealing bites! The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the cocktails were fantastic! Via Roma is truly a hidden gem. I'd recommend it to anyone...whether you've been before and need to revisit the new menu, or if it's your first time, this place is worth it. (One complaint was the wood fired pizza. It's just not there. First, it's not New York Style. It's an attempt New Haven style, or more simply, Neapolitan. It wasn't bad, but something just wasn't there.). As far as the location, the outdoor patio is great. Unfortunately, we were seated at high tables which is all they have inside. You really have to have a mix of seating. The service was good. The ordering is self serve and the staff helps. The problem is, it's on a system that restaurant servers would use to place orders, so it's not very user friendly. They really should invest on a customer-facing ordering software that's more intuitive. Another thing about the service is that, even if they don't have actual servers, they really could have some of the staff just mill about and check on tables to make sure everything was ok. Last, the Brew Wall: AMAZING! Love sampling the beers, and easy to use. Would go back just for that, which is kinda the point.

They finally asked if we had been here before and the 2 kids I had with me had but I stated I hadn't. They asked if we would be having separate tabs or all together and I let them know that the kids would not be drinking as well as I wouldn't and it would be all together. They then stated seat yourself, allowed us to pick the table, brought us menus... and no other instructions. Unsure of how to order or what to do we finally got up and asked the single gentleman who was walking the dining room and looking friendly. We finally figured out how to order (you walk up and order). We got a Stromboli, perogies, mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, and a burger. Everything came out not at a time within about 15 mins except the burger took an additional 10 with no communication on things. A girl (Jillian) came by when we were nearly done and had a couple plates stacked and asked if we needed anything, I said boxes in a bit but the plates could be taken. She glared with a look of "you want ME to take this" and then took them. Overall not very welcoming except for the long gentleman helping everyone. The 5 girls at the host stand didn't seem to care about anyone except their selves. It wasn't too busy when we got here and not loud. As someone who has worked in restaurants with bars you could see the frustration on guests trying to pour beer (self serve) with no clue how and very little assistance offered. Lots of foamy drinks. Would also be great to not have a whole onion with the perogies

The main dish differs from chicken Parmesan or a veal, but the sides are always their green beans which are fantastic... A side of pasta with a large meatball and a side salad. I personally really liked their marinara sauce and I definitely would've gone back for seconds if that was an option. The people that serve here are always friendly and very attentive and that's gotta be tough because I think there were only three or maybe four servers and it's a large group of people probably 65 or more. After dinner, they always have a nice selection of desserts to try. I think I'd like to definitely come here on more of a personal setting and not a work function, but I still do like this place.
