The food was okay which is disappointing for me because I had such high hopes for this place. I had the brisket, sausage, blue cheese coleslaw and beans. The blue cheese slaw was the best park. Everything else was forgettable or regrettable (I'm looking at you beans). This location is part of Texas Live and it's really cool inside.

Came here before the cowboys v Vikings game and was very surprised by the long line but I knew it was gonna be good due the amount of people. My bf ordered while I waited at a table he ordered brisket, ribs jalapeño sausage, macaroni, baked beans and slaw. When my bf got back and saw down we spread everything out we realized they had given him turkey breast instead of brisket so I sent him back and when he went to let them know they denied the mistake and made him pay for the brisket instead of just admitting to misunderstanding we ended up throwing away a pound of turkey breast which I hated because I don't like wasting food. Aside from that the brisket was delicious and juicy the side of pickles and jalapeños with every bite made it even better! The sides were amazing! I could probably eat those baked beans with a side of jalapeño sausage for the rest of my life and be happy! It is very crowded so be prepared to wait in a long line and wait for a table but the football ambiance while waiting is great they have plenty of TVs and bar seating as well if you find a spot to sit in. Definitely worth the wait and definitely a place I would go back to when/if I go back to Arlington.

Popped into Texas Live to watch a little of the Rams vs Eagles before the Rangers vs Marlins. Christina (or Christine, we were too busy eating to confirm ) hooked us up at the bar with Deep Eddy's grapefruit vodka + soda + lemon and a Miller Lite. She then convinced us to try the BBQ. Now, I'm not a big BBQ fan, so I was fully prepared to be "meh" about it. Instead... I was wildly surprised. We grabbed a half pound of turkey, small mac & cheese, plus all the fixings--bread, BBQ sauces, pickles, pickled onions, jalapeños. Built our own little mix. As you can tell from the photo... it was absolutely awful (read: sarcasm). We demolished the whole thing. The only thing that made it out alive was a tiny bit of mac & cheese, which didn't last long after the picture. 10/10 would let Christina talk us into BBQ again.

I couldn't wait to eat here. I love bbq. Not a bad wait for a Wednesday night. About 30 minutes in line. I asked for moist brisket because I want flavor. It didn't disappoint. Great tender salty taste. 100% recommend. Beans were also delicious. Deviled eggs were good but I'd pass next time. They were out of macaroni and cheese which is what I wanted. Also wish I would had gotten the potato salad. Sausage was good. I like mine a firmer. It is moist and chewy but good flavor. I was however disappointed in the ribs. Maybe they were days old. They were over smoked and tasteless. They had the strange tender toughness to them when it was cooked enough to be tender but over cooked or reheated to loose it also. Either way they had no flavor. Brisket saved the day though. I definitely want to go back and just get extra brisket next time and hopefully try the macaroni and cheese and potato salad. Also wish I would have bought a shirt and cap. I always buy clothing at these places but was with a company event and didn't think about it. Either way go get some moist brisket.

So I was really hungry when I walked in. The line moved fast which was great. The service was like the lunch lady me at school, just quick and to the point. I ordered the half pound ribs and much ended up 2 bones for $10.58 so $5.25 per bone. The ribs were tender with decent smoke. I also grabbed a container of the blue cheese slaw, which was really weird but kinda in a good way. I think if you really like blue cheese, which I do, you'll find it interesting. I got a 3 pack and f deviled eggs that had a smokey flavor: Overall the meal was ok but nothing outstanding. My total was $20 so a pretty good price for lunch when you consider the area.

This place deserves all the stars in the world! We decided to eat here at it is located right next to the stadium. I ordered the jalapeño sausage, a small mac & cheese, and a small coleslaw. As I tried each item I was in shock they were all so amazing!! I immediately googled where the nearest Lockhart was to my hometown, to my dismay, there is not one within three hours, and my heart broke from there. I immediately googled the recipe for their coleslaw. It had some kick to it and a special crunch, and it was the best coleslaw I've had in my entire life - I promise you. The mac & cheese is so cheesy so creamy and so beyond perfect, definitely recommend this to every single person. The sausage was also really good and you get a really large helping for the price. really truly cannot recommend this place enough. you order at the counter and take it to your seat.

Friends and I came here for lunch after our tour of the neighboring Globe Life Field. I ended up ordering the beef brisket, a serving of the original (not the jalapeño -- because I'm a delicate little flower when it comes to spice, haha) sausage, and a side of the Lockhart slaw (along with 3 slices of bread). I probably would have ordered a portion of the pulled pork as well - just to try it - but they didn't have any available at that time (a bit of a bummer, especially because they weren't super busy or anything). The sausage was probably my favorite part of the meal vs the brisket which seemed both overly fatty and had bark that seemed excessively burnt (with no real taste other than 'burnt'). The Lockhart slaw was okay, but I'd probably try the bleu cheese slaw next time. All around, just a very average meal. The service was friendly & the ambiance was inviting. I wasn't necessarily a huge fan of the large amount of butcher paper used to wrap individual meat orders, because, especially with bread slices inside the wrapping, it seemed a bit awkward to carry around (the wrapping came open easily). Also, as you're unwrapping everything, your table can become quite overwhelmed with everything and messy - especially as you're trying to share space with others who have their own food orders. TL;DR the main highlight of this Lockhart location is the convenience of it being within Texas Live / nearby Globe Life Field (and not too far from AT&T Stadium). Wasn't especially impressed with the brisket here, and would've preferred the pulled pork. If you're looking for bbq in Texas, perhaps visit the flagship Lockhart Smokehouse location in Dallas instead (I've never been there, but Texas-based friends have said good things). There are better options in the Arlington area either way though.

Took my dad here for a fathers day lunch and luckily it wasn't to busy. The bbq was regularly priced and i ended up getting a pound of brisket and some links. All of it was delicious and split between the two of us. The bar is right inside the restaurant to make it easy to refill your cup. Definitely a good spot to check out in Texas live

So much meat! We ordered the half chicken, two ribs, 1/2 pound of brisket and the jalapeño sausage with spicy coleslaw, brisket potato salad and brisket deviled eggs. The Brisket potato salad was some of the best I've ever had and I loved the kick of spicyness that it had. Same with the spicy coleslaw. We came on a Tuesday afternoon with absolutely no line or large crowds.

Had lunch with my son here for father's day. We ordered the one bound of brisket, yhe original and jalapeño sausage, along with baked beans and brisket devil eggs. The brisket was really tender and a great smokey flavor. The jalapeño sausage barely had any kick, but the original sausage tasted really good. The baked beans and devil eggs were also good. Although a little expensive we enjoyed our meal, and the atmosphere.

The ribs were excellent. I also really liked the chicken stew. I was surprised by the sour flavor of the injera. The thin bbq sauce was tasty while it was not sweet or full of vinegar. It was a nice alternative to traditional sauces. While we enjoyed our meal, and I would order the ribs and chicken stew again, this place is a bit too far for a repeat. But it introduced me to Ethiopian food which I can find closer to home. I love the creativity of the owners.

While we had a plan going in to ordering, we still overestimated ourselves. We wanted to get a little of a lot of things and definitely would've ordered less. (However, we're proponents of savoring and appreciating the few bites you have - which is hard to quantify when you're ordering by the pound). The pork belly was easily our favorite (a surprise for us); I liked it without the peach glaze and he liked it with. Both sides of the brisket were phenomenal and the smoke ring was thick. Ribs were delicious but by this point we were wishing we split one. The slaw I was initially feeling would be underwhelming but it perfectly cut through the grease and fat of the meat. The potato salad was Dijon forward which I usually wouldn't be a fan of but this was done with balance. The bread. Tangy and chewy and wow a big surprise on how delicious it was. I say this because after my experience with the manager Erin, she made me feel we were not suppose to eat it and return it in whole. I called on Friday since they were closed on Thursday. The manager asked me to bring the turkey breast leftovers I had so she could replace it with the brisket. I got upset and explained it's 1/2 gone. She said I understand but you need to bring it. I told her I would be there in 30 mins and hung up. I was in disbelief but still gave them the benefit I thought she needs to see prove. I arrived and the whole situation went horrible on their part. I maintained civil but now I regret it. A young lady acknowledge me and knew who I was. She took my turkey breast leftovers. I waited for awhile and I could see that Erin didn't know how to handle the situation because she involved other employees. I started to feel uncomfortable like all Earles were on me. I maintained my composure. And then Erin and another guy walked over to me, they didn't apologize nor seemed concerned as if they were being inconvenient. They just asked "You have your receipt". I showed it to them from my phone, she took my phone and observed as she expected me to be lying. I told her " I only ordered brisket not sure how they could get this wrong". She just mumbled, handed my phone and they all walked back to the prepping area. Waited for a bit finally she come to the front register and I walked over to her and she says "Was this the only order you had that day". Now I got upset and got loud told her "Yes it was my first and last time I will order from here". She then proceed to explain why the amount of brisket was being given to me. I cutt her off told "Let's just get this over with". I grabbed the bag and told her "I will be calling corporate and giving a review". Mostly I was disappointed and pissed at their behavior. I felt as if I did something wrong. They kept my leftovers, I don't understand that part. An apology goes a long way....sure didn't get one from management.
