Surprisingly spacious. I really dig this spot, dry chill with card games on the tables. The owner and one employee were working for our visit and they were killing it. The place was hopping and they were more than keeping up. The beer is awesome, impressive selection for the space they have. I am excited to see their growth.

Lovely staff and delicious beers. Clearly focused on making quality brews for a surprisingly reasonable price.

Wandered in as part of our I5 journey south from Seattle. We had chosen a restaurant nearby, but also wanted to sample some of the Mesa/Phoenix beer scene. We hit the jackpot! We sat at the bar and were engaged by the tap room manager. He was curious about our trip, we were curious about his taps, so we swapped stories and tasted their offerings. All of them! Great array of flavors and alch content and we left happy moving onward to our dinner. I hope these guys continue their success. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We left with a 32oz crowler for the road.

My wife and I just got done with a 5 mile hike and wanted to try a new brewery. We have a flight of 6 different beers and they are all amazing! Each of them has their own unique taste and none of them are skunky! Great beer and we'd definitely come back!

What a great little spot!! Found them on Groupon and decided to try them out yesterday. Guy working was incredibly friendly and very passionate about their beers. We ended up getting a flight before settling on their porter and flagship Scottish ale. Very tasty beers at a great price ($5/pint). They sell and fill growlers too! No food sold on site, but they do have free bar snacks and encourage you to bring your own food in (or order uber eats and have it delivered). Lots of options! Their board game selection was a little lacking. If you're into playing a game while you sip tasty beer I'd recommend bringing your own! Overall, very cool place with awesome people. Go check it out!

This place is a hidden gem in our neighborhood. Staff is super friendly and helpful with explaining the beer menu. Ok to bring in something to eat while you drink! Highly recommend you give it a try!

Tasty beers for cheap. No foods are served. You could have foods brought to you via grub hub.

Nice little brewery with friendly brewer. Very low key, but good beer. Prices are great especially considering they won't let you even tip.

Solid spot in East Mesa. The Scotch Ale is great. Excited to see what else they come up with in the future.

Desert Monks Brewing is such a great local brewery!…read more They have a wide variety of beer in a nice casual setting. They also do fun events here during the week like trivia on Thursdays. They have couches inside as well as a nice patio with chairs and some umbrellas for shade. Staff is always friendly and can answer any questions or make recommendations for whatever your preference is. This might be my new go-to brewery in Gilbert!

We love trying different breweries when we're traveling with friends and decided to buy a Groupon…read morefor this place since it offered 2 beer flights and 4 glass of beer for 4 ppl. Great deal too. The place is nice and decent in size. Parking was ok. It has some seating outside and some inside, along with counter top seating at the bar area and two areas with couches to relax in with friends to play games & mingle. They have a variety of games to choose from so it's also kid friendly if you bring your kids with you. They also have water and water cups to the side if you need some. The bartender who was there tonight was friendly & allowed us to take our time choosing the beer we wanted to try on our flights. Overall, some of the flavors were interesting and some weren't to our liking. Honestly, it really comes down to preference of how the flavors came through when you first sip it if you ask me. It was a hit or miss for me and my friends. Out of the 5, I did enjoy the Wy Abbo one the most since it's a guava pale ale. It had good flavors. One thing for sure though, I kind of wish all the beers on the flight were more cold. I don't know how to explain it but the temperature of it wasn't as crisp as I thought it should've been and it might've made a difference for my palate if beers came out colder. I also wish they included seltzers in their flight option. That would've allowed me to enjoy the flight more since beer can be heavy & fulfilling when you have multiple. We really wanted to like the beer options at this place but it wasn't for us. Glad we were able to test it out and for me, I only came because my husband and friends like beer.

Great selection, vibe, and - most notably - staff…read more Bartenders here are knowledgeable, personable, and all around good guys. At the risk of being labeled a beer snob, i love - LOVE - that their water dispenser has a Coors Light beer mark/handle, Great place to relax and watch a game. After an event in the area, we were looking for a spot nearby to grab a drink. Goldwater Crossings…read morefit the bill. We made our way on a Monday night and had no trouble parking in their complimentary lot. Ambiance (4/5): I've always been a fan of breweries and this is no different. Typical brewery feel. The only difference? It's more spacious than most. There's plenty of room, which is always a good thing. Service (4/5): They weren't busy, but the bartender did a pretty good job taking care of us. I was able to order and close out without any trouble. Food (N/A): We had dinner prior, and regardless, Monday is the one night of the week they don't offer food. The rest of the week, they have various food trucks. Drinks (4/5): Whenever I'm at a brewery, I always get a flight. This visit was no difference. They have their beer listed on the wall, along with the style of beer, and the alcohol content. The beers are listed in terms of light on the left, and darker and darker as you go right. Which makes it easy to make a selection. I picked out my flight and enjoyed all of them. Goldwater Crossings has more of the IPA and dark beer varieties than my personal taste prefers, but I still had some good options. Outside of Chandler, they have another location in South Scottsdale.
