This place has only been open 3 weeks, but already I've heard so many rave reviews that I feared it wouldn't live up to expectations. But it did not disappoint! I went for an early lunch with a friend today. The place has a warm yet crisp atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, especially our server Haley and her trainee. We even spoke with one of the owners. We both ordered the Ultimate Bloody Mary. It was beautiful and tasty. We shared a veggie pizza with roasted Brussels sprouts on a cauliflower crust and it was surprisingly good. I liked the chewiness of the crust. But the highlight was the baked goat cheese. Run, don't walk, to try this! I preferred to eat the goat cheese on my leftover cauliflower crust, than the baguette pieces. But truly, I could have been happy eating it off the spoon! read more

We stopped by Local Table last weekend. The food and drinks were fantastic! I had the Brussel Sprout Pizza which was honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. I only took one star way because the server seemed in a hurry. We very easily could have had another round of drinks but the bills were printed before we got a chance to order. We are huge fans of Hungry's so we were SO excited to get Local Table in Bridgeland. As residents of Bridgeland this is huge for our neighborhood. We went tonight at 6:15 and not only was the service AMAZING so was the food. Erin was our server & she was so patient with us. (We came with a 3.5 & 1.5 year old.) The food came out so quickly! The jalapeño hummus & Baja Chicken Wraps were fantastic! Shervin visited our table twice & even took the time to chat with us when we moved to the outside bar area to finish our drinks. Very pleased with my first dining experience at the Cypress location - I preferred it over the Katy location! I always comb through the menu online before going out to dine. However, when I got to the restaurant they did not have the Brussel Sprout Salad with Goat Cheese Balls on that day's menu... to my surprise, they happily offered to make the salad. How nice was that?! Its a trendy, bright natural lighted location, plenty of parking, and a good area to take a stroll after eating. Can't wait to return! read more

Beautiful establishment located on Fry Road near the Bridgeland community, with Local Bar across from it, perhaps the same owner, serving Mediterranean/Southwestern style dishes. Carrying with a baby in a stroller with my wife, the hostess was so kind to sprint to the door and held it opened for us, despite the chilly, windy weather today. We were seated, strategically, to have more room with the baby stroller and room for the baby in car seat by the window. The menu was elaborate and it took us a little while to know what we wanted. We ended up getting the chicken fried chicken with mashed potato and green beans plus the gyros plate with soft warm pita, salad, and hummus in the entree menu. The dishes looked amazing and the portion was huge to our surprise, for lunch. The chicken cutlet was fried a little dark but it was full of flavor and juicy. The mushroom sauce over the cutlet and the mash were well balance. The green beans were well cooked but a little bit salty to my taste. There was also a half slice garlic bread to compliment. For the gyros plate, there were at least 5 strips of meat over a bed of seasoned fries, which was also a little bit too salty. The sauces and hummus came on the side as well as the salad. It came also with 2 pieces warm, quarter pita. The meat was delicious and the jalapeño hummus was spot on. We both wished that we could get half the fries and more pita to go better with the hummus. Overall, the experience was great (our waitress was having a trainee today and was occasionally attentive). Definitely, we would select to return when visiting in the area - many dishes to be seen and had! read more

Local table is located in the cutest center, which can be rare for the Cypress area. When I initially arrived, I was disappointed it seemed like there was only parallel parking. (Not my forte) Thankfully, there are lots located on each side of the center. The employees were all helpful and friendly. Food was super fresh and yummy! The poblanos chicken was delicious! I'm on a special diet for health reasons, and they were able to accommodate me with no issues. This is a great brunch spot! I will definitely be back to try more food! read more

I went there and told the owner, - I have a life-threatening nut allergy can you accommodate me.? He told me NO. which I totally appreciate his honesty. I then posted a warning that if anybody has nut allergies with children do not go there because they can't accommodate. And he had all his buddies reply and tell me to eat nuts and drop dead. I love the atmosphere service is usually good, hard to judge service during a pandemic 100%. The menu is amazing I just find that the dishes are inconsistent. I think they need to work on consistency of the food because when you order something that you loved and you ordered again and you get it and it's different or taste so different it's disappointing. I have been here many times with my family. I was here tonight with my son who wanted a break from studying just to be confronted by a very rude waitress. I asked if our drinks could be served in "to go" cups and she looked at me like I was nuts. I don't see anything wrong with asking for drinks in "to go" cups during a pandemic. We've been to numerous restaurants during the pandemic and the staff completely understands and is so sincere. Not tonight. She was very nasty and I didn't want to continue arguing with her in front of my teenage son. We just went to this restaurant to have a nice time and this is what I walked into!! She went and asked the manager if we could have "to go" cups for our drinks. He said it was fine. This was so ridiculous as I was treated like a child! When we go back to Local Table as we've been many times, I will request a different waitress. She made this a very ugly experience for us. My son didn't need to deal with this tonight. It would be nice to hear from the manager instead of just ignoring my review. This waitress will make many not want to come back to this restaurant. read more
