This was not the first visit to Local Table nor will it be my last. Definitely a staple restaurant for me and my family. They knock it out of the park every time. The food is always incredible and service is always on point. We dined there last night and per usual food was amazing. We were a party of 7 and ordered the hummus, baked goat cheese and tuna tartar as starters (pics included). For our entrees we enjoyed the Lemon Pasta w/Chicken (I ordered this and it was so good). Pasta has capers and sundried tomatoes and a delicious big piece of toasted bread. My other family members had the Gyro Plate, penne rústica,grilled chicken pesto sandwich and crab cakes. Everyone was completely satisfied. We all dove right into our entrees and I completely to take pictures beforehand. But trust me the dishes were delicious and had a nice presentation. Ever since moving to the Cypress area my wife and I have always seen Local Table packed! Inside and outside was always full and we were always like "we should try it one day". The prices are little on the higher end BUT that's because the portions are huge! The pictures below will show you what I'm talking about. Not showing us a kids burger which is could be good enough for and adult with what they give. The chipotle cheddar burger I got was delicious and tasty. Liquid runs a little bit. It all good just shows it's full of flavor. Chicken tender for kids is more than enough for my 2.5 year old and probably the right size for a 5-7 year old. I enjoyed my meal and so my family and friends the only reason I didn't give it 5 was because the waiter wasn't all attentive. We had to ask for a straw twice and ketchup. We didn't have to ask for refills because they gave us a jug of water. It did take a while for the bill to be picked up and I asked for a to go box that I waited 4-5 minutes for but never came. I saw the waiter go and do other stuff at that point I knew he forgot so we left. It could have been an off day for him as he did seem a little flustered but we still got our food and drinks. Every server was so sweet, while we were there they checked on us multiple times and gave great recommendations. It was very open and nice, and while it was a little loud for me, it wasn't too bad at all. The food was incredible (and we are total foodies). Tried this place for the first time this past Sunday. Our server, Aaron was a perfect guide through the menu. The skillet goat cheese is incredible. Order it with the candied bacon. The kabob plate was delicious. Wife enjoyed the Caesar salad with prosciutto and grilled shrimp. Don't leave without getting dessert (white and dark chocolate mousse cake). We came here for brunch on Sunday - no wait even though it was packed. We ordered the goat cheese appetizer which was so delicious - served on garlic bread. I had the gyro sandwich which was made well. One point off for their coffee selection - just plain coffee. For a brunch place, I would expect there to be latte or cold brew selection. We have been here multiple times but I figured to make a mass post tonight! Normally, on the weekends and sometimes on Friday's, this plaza is packed. When they have farmers market or food truck days, it's harder to find parking. We made reservations on Friday both times because the wait is normally longer on Friday and weekends. We came between their M-F happy hour time for dinner! Our waiter was Kendall and he was amazing! Would definitely request for Kendall the next visit! He was extremely friendly, not awkward at all, and joked around with us! He recommended his favorites, we ordered, and came back constantly to check up on us. The food here is amazing! We came with a group of our friends from out of town and they loved their food! I got the grilled salmon wrap with ice berg lettuce as a side and OMG !!! Sober me would've still said this was the best seafood wrap I've ever had. The salmon was cooked perfectly and delicious in the wrap! The jalepeno ranch was AMAZING!! I have been to the Katy location so I knew the food would be good but with all restaurants things are different. Food and drinks: my gimlet was amazing but my friends tried to order simple drinks that were not in the menu and were told it could not be done. They wanted a skinny lemon drop which is lemon sugar and a hot toddy which is hot tea lemon and bourbon or whiskey so I do not get how either could not be done. Saying this make sure to only order drinks on the menu. The food was great! Loved the added crunch on the goat cheese and the Brussels sprouts were cooked to perfection. We each order tacos two spicy shrimp and one spicy beef to which the aioli sauce was lacking. We asked for more then the tacos were perfect. Other: The service was great. I made reservations a few hours before because the other reviews recommended we do so. We were seated quickly and our waitress came over a few seconds after we seat down. I liked our seat but it was rather warm in the area. We were seated near the window in a corner. If you are looking for a cool place go to the restroom it seems that is were they are pushing all the a/c. My only complaint would be the pesky fly that would not leave us along. All in all we enjoyed a nice relaxing dinner and I would go back. I would love to sit on the patio when it is cooler. read more

5 stars -- I came for a meal, I stayed for the Brussels. Who knew Brussels sprouts could taste like tiny roasted miracles? Local Table has officially ruined all other Brussels for me. Crispy, caramelized, perfectly seasoned--honestly, I'd fight someone for the last one. They're not a side dish, they're a main character. I ordered the avocado toast, which was a misnomer. It should've been named cucumber salad on a slice of bread because if you could find the avocado, more power to you. Toward the end, I did spot a sliver slice of avocado. If you're going to name something avocado toast, we should be able to see the avocado. (In breakfast restaurants, there's a very generous amount of avocado on their avocado toast). There was a side of fingerling potatoes, which were just ordinary, no flavor, and they could certainly have served 2 to 3 people. I also ordered a mint tea, and if there was any mint in there, it was the garnish floating around. Here again if you're going to have specialized teas, please make sure they taste like it. Commit to the flavor or just offer plain. We had a side order of brussels sprouts that didn't taste or chew like they were fresh nor were they warm or hot. Did they cook them yesterday? The service was fair. Toward the end we were checked on more frequently, but it would've been nice to be checked on in the beginning. My meal, tax included, came to $30! Our go to family dinner spot on this side of town. There are not too many places on this side of cypress that offer fresh quality food and a variety of healthy dish options. As someone who has to strictly watch what I eat, local table has become a favorite spot for me. Yes they are a bit be pricey, but their price matches their quality of ingredients. We come here probably 1-2 a month and we are never disappointed. Service is always attentive and kind. I don't think we have ever had a waiter or waitress that didn't give us good service. Seating is always clean and we are usually seated quickly, though we usually come on a weekday evening. I recommend giving them a try. read more

We like Local Table, we really do. I hate giving a negative review, but maybe reconsider Grub Hubbing from Local Table and only go in person. We had Local Table delivered this evening and Leo Getz (Joe Pesci) was right. They burnt the Gyro meat on the salad. The fries on the kids burgers were far from fresh and seemed like leftovers from an order a few hours ago. Our salads were otherwise good, and the fried goat cheese balls are still amazing. My guess is the wait staff figured no one would complain (Or at least it wouldn't be their problem if someone did). read more

I've been here for brunch a few times. I really like their goat cheese omelette. I usually add a little salt and pepper, but the veggies and goat cheese are perfect. The salad they served with it was very good and fresh. I'm a little tired of salad and don't normally finish it, but this one is good. I ordered a Bloody Mary this time and also enjoyed it. My friend ordered the quinoa eggs Benedict and she cleared her plate. She usually doesn't eat everything on her plate, so it must have been good. There is outdoor seating, so this is a plus if you are looking to enjoy your meal outside or bring your dog. Only thing I would pass on next time is the side of bacon. We be heard good things about area Local Tables, so I jumped at the chance to meet for lunch when a friend suggested it. We sat outside on the patio and our server promptly brought a carafe of water. He gave us plenty of time to catch up with one another before we ordered, coming by every 10 minutes to see if we were ready. We never felt rushed. My friend ordered a favorite of hers, a Brussels sprout salad with chicken. I tried the gyro wrap with wedge salad. The salad was modest, but well prepared and sized well for the meal. The gyro was typical. There was so much sauce, I really couldn't taste the lamb or seasonings. That's probably the only thing I can fault. I admit I was watching other entrees out of the corner of my eye. And they all looked darn good. I may just have to comeback and try some of those sandwiches & burgers. read more

Always a great meal when we come here. A rustic look in the restaurant that is quite trendy. It usually pretty busy and should be. The service tends to be good, but not necessarily stellar. Our most recent visit the host let us know that he was not our waiter but he would take our order, and OH- our waitress would be a little bit because she was in the restroom. It was a good 5-10 minutes. We hope she washed her hands. We really didn't need to know that. The host could have easily just made it look as though they were all working as a team and gotten drinks rather than making me concerned our waitress was sick. Our food however is and always is outstanding. I highly recommend the strawberry lemonade, and gyros. You can't go wrong with their hummus, salads, and potato soup. Enjoy!! read more
