"Worth the Wait: Good Vibes and Amazing Plates" 02-01-2026 Local Table is a chic, hip, and cool spot that serves a variety of delicious dishes with great customer service. It's kind of the perfect mix of fancy and casual, depending on your mood, you can come in dressed up or keep it comfy and still fit right in. I've visited several times and my experiences are always pleasant, but this was my first time coming on a Sunday afternoon. I came with my husband, my daughter, and her male friend, and whew... the place was ridiculously packed. When I checked in, the host told us the wait would be about 30-45 minutes. We were fine with that, and we ended up getting seated right at the 30-minute mark, which honestly isn't bad at all for a Sunday crowd. Customer service was great as always. I can't remember our server's name, but he was friendly and welcoming. He fell a little short on attentiveness at times, but overall we still had a great time. What really surprised me was how clean and well-kept the restaurant was, even with how packed it was. So shout-out to the team for staying on top of things and keeping everything organized. Now let's talk ambiance; the vibe was lively, upbeat, and full of energy. From the moment we walked in, there was laughter, nonstop chatter, and servers moving quickly, just good vibes all around. It feels neighborhood-friendly and warm like a local hangout, but it still gives upscale and chic vibes too. The food is always amazing: full of flavor and served piping hot. The only complaint came from my daughter with the beef on her kabob plate. It wasn't well done and was still pink inside when she cut into it. She didn't send it back; she just took it home and popped it in the oven for a few minutes to finish cooking it. She loved it and said that it was very flavorsome and mouthwatering and that the vegetables and rice tasted astoundingly delectable. Honestly, I do think servers should ask customers how they want their beef cooked, because not everyone likes medium-rare meat. Some people (like my daughter) prefer it well done. Overall, Local Table is the spot for a Sunday afternoon if you're looking for high energy, a vibrant atmosphere, and delicious food. They also have healthy, vegan-friendly options, which I love. I highly recommend it. Just a heads-up: parking can be limited in the front, but there's plenty of parking behind the building. Food Ratings: Mediterranean Salmon -- 5/5: Flavorful and served hot Local's Kabob Plate -- 4/5: Delicious, but the beef wasn't well done Southern Crispy Chicken & Eggs -- 5/5: Flavorful and served hot Cheeseburger Americana -- 5/5: Juicy with robust flavors Kids Cheeseburger w/ Fries -- 5/5: My little niece tore it up French Fries -- 5/5: Seasoned well and served hot Strawberry Lemon Drop -- 5/5: Fancy and delicious Mimosa Flight -- 4/5: Delicious, but served warm Smoked Rum Old Fashioned -- 5/5: This drink packs a punch Kids Strawberry Lemonade -- 3/5: Overly sweetened

Might have to park around back as there is limited parking up front. Place is clean, staff are friendly. We ordered the kebab plate and spinach dip, and lemon pasta. First of all the pasta was unexpectedly spicy, wasn't a fan. The bf had the kebab plate which he said was just ok as the food was lacking flavor/seasoning. The spinach dip was good and they gave extra chips. I would give this place another try and check out other things on the menu.

Came in with my friend on a Monday around mid-day. They were pretty busy, so we decided to sit by the bar. The bartender was super friendly and attentive the entire time despite how busy she was. My friend and I both ordered the strawberry spritz and it was very refreshing, not overly sweet at all. As an entree I ordered the lemon pasta with shrimp, it was good the flavor of the pasta was nice and the shrimp was cooked well. I'm not a fan of capers, so I should've asked for them to be removed but other than that the pasta was very good. My friend ordered the gyro with fries and she enjoyed her food as well. Overall, I'd say this is a good casual lunch spot.

I found this place on a whim while looking for a place to stop and grab a bite on the way back to Austin. I'm so happy I found it because everything was great! We tried the Ahi Tuna Tostadas (special menu), Ahi Tuna Tartare, soup of the day (Tortilla Soup), Lemon Pasta with shrimp and the Asian Chicken Salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the pasta and my brother said the Asian Chicken Salad was the best he's ever had. Portion sizes were on the smaller side of the scale. Our server was very nice and patient with us (2 of the 3 of us have severe food allergies). There were a few TVs, so if you're a sport watcher, that's an option for you. I really appreciated the openness and brightness of the space. Hopefully they'll venture out into central Texas!

Totally loved the experience ! The food tasted so good! The staff was kind and smiling. The ambiance was easy and comfortable. Yay for an overall great time! This was about mid afternoon. They placed the two of us on a two seater booth. So cushy! Promptly served with water and menus. We started the southerquesadillas: they are a great appetizer to share ! Crispy skin but not crumbling, with a scoop of avocado. Yum! Next, we chose the Mediterranean fusion bowl. So well balanced with a bit of basmati rice, a bit of brown rice, brussels sprouts, squash, guacamole, beans, topped with aioli sauce ! Really really feels good, tasty and fulfilling. Also, picked the shrimp tacos with a side of black beans. And their side of fries... Just order it. Yes, just because. Crispyyyy, almost like double fried ? Great portion to share or not. Delicious. Really satisfying. They have TV's above their bars to watch the games if you wish. It's super family friendly, group friendly, date or solo. Accommodating for all! And because it was our first time, we were given a quick presentation of the business. Local Bar across the street is theirs too! How cool. Hope they'll open a location in town! Otherwise, I'll be back.

I should have written a review for this place a long time ago because I'm definitely a regular! Especially on a pretty day -- sitting outside is such a vibe. Let me start with the food and the menu -- always on point. It's simple, yet somehow so satisfying every single time. The drinks are great, with a really good variety at the bar. And I have yet to encounter a rude member of the waitstaff there. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, which is hard to find. I'm a regular and will continue to be as long as they keep running things the way they do. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants good food, good service, and decent prices.

In short Local Table and Local Bar (across the street) are absolute wins for Cypress. If you're coming from North Cypress, know both are located in Bridgeland, so plan for the drive, but there's plenty to do once you're in the area, Bridgeland being the beauty that it is. Anyways, I'd taken a break from Local Table, after moving further away, but thought it'd be a quieter option to watch the Texans game last night. It delivered on providing a quieter, less crowded atmosphere compared to the bar. Plus, their bar on this night was spacious and relatively empty. Yes, there were more children and couples, but it's hard to beat a peaceful game experience sitting at the open air bar. The food and drink were solid overall. While I think the cucumber basil gimlet needs a bit more work, the beer is cold, my grilled chicken pesto sandwich was delicious (when I got the perfect bite of red pepper, savory cheese, pesto, and grilled chicken slathered in olive oil (or maybe that was the pesto)), and I'm glad I did not skip the chocolate lava cake. It's as nostalgic as the Chili's version, but all grown up. I never thought I'd say this but I'd definitely consider them for another peaceful game night experience this season!

I did not think I was going to love this place as much as I did. I ordered the pedal club cocktail and the honey glazed salmon and all I gotta say is wowowowow. The drink is was phenomenal; perfectly made. The salmon though? mouthwatering. Also, the service was exceptional. I forgot our servers name (maybe Adrian or Carlos) but he was great. Loved him! I would 100% recommend coming here. Can't wait to come back!

This is a solid four star restaurant where you can't go wrong with anything you order. But nothing is so spectacular that you wanna rave about it. We met some friends for brunch today to celebrate the holiday season. I had the mimosa flight. My daughter had Briar Patch Dour and and all the drinks were delicious. My son ordered an espresso which came in a normal size coffee mug. I asked the waiter, and he said they were all out of espresso cups. Oh well! A small hick up. Overall, the service was really good and Andrew was attentive. We ordered crab cakes Benedict, chicken and biscuits Benedict, prosciutto Benedict from the brunch menu. Salmon and Gyro from the main menu. Everything was delicious but still none of the dishes were to crave or keep coming back for. That's just our opinion. The ambience at local table is always great and family friendly. Overall, a great place to hang out with friends and have a few cocktails.

I loved this place! There were so many options on the menu, so I am excited to come back many more times. I had the chicken and waffles and thought it was delicious! The waffle was nice and soft, not hard like many other waffles I have tried. The chicken tenders were slightly small in my opinion. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere. Edit: I recently came back here and had the strawberry champagne margarita and it was to die for! I hope they make this drink a regular part of the menu. Also, Nikki our waitress, was incredible!

    Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl

We were seated outside and it was a beautiful day. I ordered the crab cakes and the ahi tuna poke bowl. To drink, I ordered the blueberry cucumber martini. The meal tasted delicious and fresh. My friend ordered the crispy chicken and eggs and she enjoyed her meal as well. The waitstaff were extremely attentive. I think we had 5 separate people checking on us throughout the meal. They were busy but the food came out really quickly. It was the perfect ambiance to catch up with a friend I had not seen in 20 years. I recommend this location for sure.

We paid $50 per person for the brunch buffet and the baby was free since she is under 2. The food was delicious! They had an amazing assortment of fresh fruits, cheese, breads, salads, breakfast foods, dips, pasta, and veggies. They also had a carving station with steak and chimichurri sauce. I tried the chicken sausage, steak, beet hummus, tomato salad, whipped feta, biscuits with jam, and an assortment of the veggies & fruits. I also ordered over easy eggs and French toast which they make and bring to the table to keep them fresh but they were included in the buffet. After eating we walked around a bit to see the farm and the animals. Such a cute place for a date or a family outing. The exterior is just as beautifully decorated. It's clear that chef-owner Lori Pope poured a lot of time, heart, and soul into both the menu and the store's design. The hostess was super friendly. As soon as I walked in, she gave me a warm and smiling greeting. The menu was a feast for the eyes. It had a lot of lovely pictures of the different dishes. I was ecstatic to see that there were so many vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Also, most of the dishes can be requested to be made gluten-free. Big plus. You don't order at your table, instead you go to the counter in the back and make sure to bring the sheet with your table number on it. The gal at the counter who took our order wasn't as friendly as the hostess but she was polite enough to inform us about the 15% charge. The food came out very quickly. Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, and I will say our server was very nice and welcoming. One thing we immediately noticed, though, was that the menu prices were crossed out and changed. The waitress explained that prices have been fluctuating, but it did feel a little unpolished and confusing seeing gouged-out pricing on multiple items. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla, and my wife got the South of the Border omelet. We also had the roasted potatoes, which ended up being a very small portion. My main issue was that several items listed (or expected) didn't come as described. The quesadilla was supposed to come with sour cream and pico, but they weren't served on the side. We were told the pico was inside the quesadilla, which wasn't noted on the menu. Additionally, both dishes had raw, unsautéed onions mixed into the scrambled eggs. That wasn't listed in the description, and I personally don't like raw onions, so it definitely affected the meal for me. I think ingredients like that should be clearly stated. The cheese sauce tasted like standard heated nacho cheese and was very runny, not what we expected from a breakfast dish. The sour cream also tasted off. Overall, while the service was friendly, the food and menu presentation didn't meet expectations. Unfortunately, we probably won't be returning.

I stopped by this cafe to get some work done since there was a power outage in Spring, and I think…read moreI found my new favorite study spot when I'm in the area! This seemingly small cafe is actually quite spacious; the ambiance was quiet, and the service was friendly. They had a seasonal menu for the fall, so I chose to order the iced Tiramisu latte with oat milk, and the cup was coated in tiramisu (?) syrup. The coffee taste was a bit masked, but overall it was creamy, not too sweet, and had a mocha flavor! The Core Cafe had several unique flavors that I'd love to try, so I look forward to returning. :D

Their new location is pretty far from me, so i thought I'd check out this place since it is where my favorite used to be. However! This was my first and last visit. As soon as i walked in, i smelled an overwhelming scent of smoke. I'm not sure if that came from the patrons or the space itself, but that alone was almost enough for me to walk right out of the door. But i stayed because i really wanted to give this place a chance. Like another reviewer, Elizabeth V., mentioned, there were 3 women around the counter who were not welcoming. Considering that you have to walk a distance to even get to the counter, being welcomed when you get there would have been nice! Anyway, the woman who took my order wasn't kind or helpful and when i asked for my drink iced (because the menu didn't specify if the drink was offered hot or iced) she said - kind of condescendingly - "it's already iced..." How would I know that if it's not listed on the menu? And why am I receiving snark for specifying how I'd like my order? Even though I was ordering in person, it felt like I was ordering at a drive thru - being rushed and questions discouraged by an apathetic employee who'd literally like to be anywhere else in the world at that moment. I knew I wouldn't stay at that point so I grabbed my matcha (which was just okay) and left. It's super disappointing to see that this is what occupies the space where my favorite coffee spot used to be. Maybe good service is worth the 45-min drive to their new location! Coming here certainly wasn't worth the headache of traffic, construction, a busy parking lot full of people cutting through to avoid the traffic on the street, and attitudes from the employees. If you like good coffees and teas but also like a kind and welcoming ambiance, please go elsewhere. I wish I wouldn't have believed the 5 star reviews I saw here.

My party of three ordered the breakfast egg rolls to share as a appetizer. There were plenty to share and very tasty. Eggs, cheese and crumbled sausage fried in an egg roll wrapper served with hot honey drizzle and roumalaud sauce for dipping. Between the lobster w/ crab & veggie omelettes, the shrimp and grits bowl was a hearty treat. We had coffee, lattes, mimosas and sparkling water over a giggly fun time. Our server and the managers were attentive and full of smiles. We especially liked watching the little to robot moving about the dining area delivering food. The future is now! I ordered a kids grilled chicken tenders with a side of mashed potatoes along with a kids mac and cheese. Not only were the chicken tenders bland but the chicken was sooo tough. I also had tough fried and bland chicken tenders at the Humble location. It seems as if they're cooked from frozen but I don't know. As for the mac and cheese I like that it was a homemade sauce rather than kraft but it tasted nothing like mac and cheese sauce. Instead it tasted more like a garlic alfredo sauce without the parmesan. The only okay thing was the mashed potatoes. I liked the garlic flavor in them but I could've went without the parmesan cheese in them. Overall, I haven't been pleased with anything i've ordered from here so not sure if i'd recommend.
