    Turkey sandwich

I finally got to eat here. And it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was delicious. I love all the local businesses that are featured in the market area. They had grab and go lunches or dinners. They had fresh bread from Mediterra. They had everything from candy to sauces to frozen dumplings and beer. The staff was very nice.

This place is so cute! We came for lunch on a Friday, and this place was bustling. Their interior decor was so good that it made me want to linger longer. I love that in addition to being a cafe, they also have a grocery section where they feature local businesses. I tried their fried fish platter and haluksi. Both were decent but not good enough that I would come back for. They have a pretty good selection of food, so I'll definitely come back and try something else. Even though this was a cafe style where you grab your own tap water, and you get a number when you order, service was actually pretty good. Our server brought us food and checked in on us a few times. Overall, we had a great experience!

A nice clean place with food selections from local areas. There is a coffee bar where you can order food or drinks. There are local vendor fixtures of nearby businesses. Prepared food options also. The only negative was the music playing too loud inside.

Absolutely excellent lunch there the other day. Such an unassuming place in a strip shopping center. The ambiance is market/casual (industrial-chic-ish)lunch spot. We grabbed a few (fairly pricey - but not crazy) frozen meals for dinners this week - some DiAnoia's pizza dough and sauce and a lasagna. But the main reason we were there as for lunch. Service was nothing special. You order at the bar, pay for your items, and then take a seat with a number on a metal stand. Really takes the personal service out of it, but maybe that's not something this establishment is worried about. I had a veggie sandwich strangely named "Hotlicks." Really very good! The lemon-thyme hummus was chunky with cucumbers, and the sprouts and Kalamata olives, red onions, and Muenster brought a lot of flavor. I was most struck by grain bread from Mediterra. Perfectly toasted and incredible fresh and flavorful. Some of the best sandwich bread I've had in a looong time. My husband had the more appropriately named Smoked Turkey Breast sandwich. SO full of flavor (it really outshone my veggie sandwich, though I loved my choice!). Candied, bacon, poached, apples, Cranberry aïoli - what's not to love?? Excellent lunch. Kinda bummed the sandwiches didn't come with a little side of chips or potato salad or coleslaw or something, but it was a really good lunch just the same. Lots of cute options in the market for gifts -- Easter items, cookbooks, food items galore, on and on. Really like this place a lot. Wish we had one in Edgewood!

This is a hip little cafe + grocery store + sit down restaurant hidden in an old strip mall. It's a little gem of fox chapel. People are friendly, food is good- albeit a little expensive. I bought a few breakfast things and a coffee- the breakfast sandwich was excellent. The biscuits and gravy were mid; the breakfast flatbread was ok. It was cool that the whole store was locally sourced.

Cute little market & cafe. There was a wide variety on the menu and the food came out quickly. I wish the menu designated food allergies but the people at the register did a great job explaining. Will definitely be back to try the cocktails!

This is a store with a cafe front is packaged goods including local ice cream and some frozen entrees. There is a center ordering counter surrounded by tables and a couple of booths in the back looks very inviting came in for some lunch The sandwiches might be tasty but I decided to just get myself a cinnamon bun and some ice tea so much ice in the tea it was ice with some tea I should have known when the person who took my order asked" if my bun was to go?" told me the bun would taste better heated. Sadly the bun was almost hard as a rock see the pic it even looked old. oh well the folks eating there looked happy enough I wonder if I said I was staying would they have offered to heat the bun? I don't dole out 1 star that often but seriously selling me a clearly stale bun was not nice.

Very impressed with Local Provisions. The store is tucked in a strip mall, but the store itself definitely doesn't have a strip mall feel. We decided to come here and try their brunch menu. You order at the cashiers station, get a number and they bring the food to you. We shared the breakfast flatbread and donut holes. Both were top notch. The flatbread was delicious. Every ingredient stood out - from the sausage to the Boursin cheese. The crust was nice and crispy. The donut holes were made to order and came out hot. They reminded me of the zeppoli from DiAnoia's, but might have actually been a tad better. Hot, soft with a little crunch, and flavorful. Prices weren't awful. The flatbread was $17 but could be shared by 2 people. I will definitely be back to try some other things.

On this morning we decided to go to The Coffee Tree Roasters in Fox Chapel. Whenever we arrived this shop was hopping and it continued to be so even after we had left. The inside of this shop consisted of a number of tables to sit at as well as a cooler with drinks and then a place to order. There was also a small merchandise area near the front and since it was Christmas time, the front counter was decorated with gift baskets for the holidays. For my coffee on this morning I went with a gingerbread latte while my wife went with a white chocolate peppermint bark latte. My coffee here ended up being good as there was a strong gingerbread flavor without being overly sweet as well as a nice coffee flavor in the background. It probably could have been a bit more pronounced but I could certainly taste it and the drink itself was tasty. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I used to love going to the coffee tree roasters and this visit did not disappoint.

Cute! Excellent espresso and they make their own syrups!…read more The coffee syrups are made in house, aside from the sugar free options. This is a sure way to get bonus points in my book! A homemade syrup goes great lengths. I had the homemade raspberry in a mocha and it was absolutely delicious, rich, and divine while still being able to actually taste the espresso/coffee flavors. This is just the way a perfectly crafted latte should be in my opinion. Space is small, standing room only inside. More of a grab and go situation. The man working on the Sunday morning I stopped in was friendly, quick, and efficient. Service wasn't the quickest since there was a small line inside and only one person working, but this was not an issue for a Sunday morning coffee stop where I was willing to take my time!

Parking was easy with 2 hour street parking right nearby, which made this a low-stress stop. I was greeted by festive holiday decor when I walked in, which made the space feel warm and inviting. There are a few small tables outside for nicer weather, and inside there are three high tables meant for standing only, so it is more of a grab and go spot than a place to linger. I ordered my usual iced London Fog with almond milk. It took a few minutes to brew as expected. While waiting, I looked around and noticed a limited selection of pastries like scones, plus a small fridge with to-go sandwiches. Along one wall they also had branded merch and coffee brewing equipment for sale. Overall, this is a solid neighborhood coffee shop with quality drinks and a streamlined setup.

Soon she took our order and brought out our drinks and foods. At the end of the meal, she promptly processed our payment and thanked us. Here are my ratings for what my husband and I ate: Turkish Plate - 4.5 stars - I think that Gino might be Turkish, and this entree was one of the few Turkish menu items. It consisted of scrambled eggs, black olives, two cheeses, sliced tomato and cucumber, French fries, toasted bread, jelly, honey, and butter. Fruit Tea Waffle - 5 stars - A waffle was topped with Nutella, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and powdered sugar. The fruits were very fresh, abundant, and sweet. On the side was whipped cream. Egg-bacon Omelet - 4 stars - My husband ate this omelet, and he thought that it tasted good. It was a good size, and it contained bacon, onions, and mozzarella cheese. On the side were three plain pancakes. Orange juice - 4.5 stars - This orange juice contained some purple and tasted fresh.
