Ordered a cheese pizza. They had no specials and just one size If I'm not wrong. Took them quite some time to deliver my order and I live awfully close. I let it slide because they just opened up. I also let slide the fact that the person delivering my pizza had no idea where my home was. She just couldn't find it.... Did I mention I live way too close? So this delivery driver calls me and explains she can not find my home and sounds extremely frustrated so I get frustrated. She begins to give me lots of attitude because she can't find my home and like I said I was extremely nice about her situation but also frustrated :) and so I kept calm and collective and let it go. She finally arrived. Pizza was cold and too crispy for me. I don't know if I'll order again from them. Quality ingredients that you can taste in the pizza. The only bad thing I can say (& it's even really bad bad thing) is that their pizzas only come in one size & they're huge! Pizza is good. In fact many pizzas are great, but when writing this review I am speaking about more than pizza - I am speaking about art. This pizza features the best New York style bread, with an incredible house sauce, and the freshest ingredients you've ever had on a pizza. The cheese is melty and the toppings are so fresh. This is the pizza where you can feel the passion in every slice, or two, or three... The typical pizza comes in 18" (they have a smaller 10" pizza, although when you try that first slice you'll wish you got the 18"). This is the one pizza shop I've seen where the owner personally makes the pizza, brings it to you, and makes sure that it is perfect. Even after 9 pizzas ordered (in two short months) he is still making sure that my pizza is top-of-the-line - and without fail it always is. My personal favorite is the Garden of Eden, although there are new specials that are scheduled each with their own character. P.S. Local Pie may ruin your other pizza experiences when you realize the quality just doesn't match up to theirs. read more

I was told about this place by a co-worker that lives down in Miami around the corner from the restaurant. When I went to an event by Miami-Dade College South Campus, I figured I'd check it out. I got a slice and ate it there. It was so incredibly good I ordered an entire pie for my family. That was a terrible decision. My kids whine and complain if I suggest ordering from our local pizza place. They want the Miami pizza. They LOVED the crust. They loved the toppings and it was all vegetable!. I was concerned about that because they are pepperoni eaters and I got them something they have never had before. It had white cheeses, I think it had mozzarella and ricotta, slices of tomato and there was fresh basil and garlic. Whatever the cheese combination was, it all went together so well they have asked for it again and again. So Pizza Project, I hate you because you make the best pizza in south Florida and I now have to find excuses to go to Miami to get pizza. Please build a store up in Broward! read more

What a hidden gem! We love pizza and found this spot was close to where we live. The pizza was delicious and honestly I haven't tried anything like it. The pizza dough was delicious soft and crispy. I went to this place a couple of weeks ago with my friend and her dog. The owner was there and he even came out with a plate of water for the doggie. The lady in the register (his mom I assume) was extremely nice and everybody was very welcoming and friendly. I was a little bummed because I didn't see any desserts in the menu but now after reading the history of this place I admire Eric for his hard work and look forward to how much more amazing this place will get! When we ordered the pizza (half pretty fly for a white pie and half soprano pie) we were offered free ice cream and cookies! The pizza was REALLY REALLY GREAT! It tasted fresh and flavorful, we each ate three slices and were about to explode but we couldn't stop eating, it was amazing! Today I went back and ordered take out because I needed to show my boyfriend how good the pizza was! Some of the best pizza I've had in Miami! Visited here over the weekend and just picked up a few slices and some garlic knots. The woman at the front was so friendly and helpful, and it only took about 5 minutes before my food was ready to go. The garlic knots were perfect, as was the pizza.
