Hopes were dashed... Still searching. Must've been an omen when the carry out menu provided to me contained no phone number to order carry out. After calling the Hilton head location to get the phone number of the Bluffton location, I was greeted by a recorded message saying that no one was available to take my call right now. Finally got through, placed an order for a 16 inch pie and a three meat calzone. $32 later, we were suitably unimpressed. The pizza was nothing special, crust was incredibly salty. Heard about this place from family, so we met them there for their second visit. Started out with garlic knots that I couldn't get enough of. Loved their variety of pizzas to choose from. Settled on the D'Artagnan, with duck confit, Boursin cheese, smoked mushrooms and arugula. Never had pizza with that flavor profile before. Definitely going back to try out more of their menu. We popped in to this place for a quick snack mid afternoon and are very glad we did! We didn't want a big meal and my friend and I decided to split a 10" white pizza. Our server Tanner warned us that it was little, but when we got it, it was very generous and cooked to perfection! We each had three slices, I had a diet beverage, my friend an iced tea and the whole bill came to just over $10 (part of their $7 lunch special). I would have given 5 stars since both the food and service were excellent. The big problem our family had was the very, very loud head bagging music playing. Where do I begin. First off, when we sat down at the table EVERYTHING was sticky and gross. We didn't really know who our server was the entire time we were there. When one of the waitresses brought us our drinks she spilled a lemonade and took her time cleaning it up before she took our order. The second waitress we had took our order and took everyone's besides mine and walked away from the table to answer the phone. No communication whatsoever between the two waitresses. The location is pretty cool. A small location off the beaten path with a lot shops and food spots in the small block. The pizza was good and fresh baked. I think the margarita pizza was the best. This minimalist pizza house in charming old town Bluffton was on our list of must try eateries in the area. We arrived during lunch hour and the lack of people kind of highlighted the lack of decor. The menu was decent, and had some creative pie offerings, just nothing that screamed eat me. So we went the pedestrian route and ordered a pepperoni pizza and a calzone stuffed with sausage, meatballs, and pepperoni. The pizza arrived looking quite standard, but then again it had just a few basic ingredients. The calzone was a perfect golden brown, nice and crisp, and hot. There was nothing wrong with the latter, per se, but something was off. Each bite delivered a different taste experience, one had a real strong herb flavor, another hinted of bland cheese. Obviously this was a result of the ingredients not evenly distributed within the encased dough. In the end what could have been an excellent calzone ended up being a pretty mediocre one. The ovens obviously did a great job cooking the product, but some of the off tasting ingredients just didn't please the palate. read more

Came here on a Tuesday night about 7. Had "The usual " pepperoni pizza and added their homemade sausage. Service was slow as they only had one or two waiters. Pizza was nice and well done, a little thin on the cheese but the sauce was nice and not overwhelming. I didn't care for their sausage but the pepperoni was good. When we moved down to the bar, Riley handled the rush like a champ. She took care of a very full bar like it was nothing. No one waited for anything, she was fast, polite and friendly.
