Staff was very attentive. Food was very good. I had the pork tenderloin dinner. It had a small amount of crust, which I prefer. The green beans tasted like the ones my grandma used to make. Great service, sweet people, and phenomenal food. The majority of it is locally sourced and virtually everything down to their ranch is made from scratch. Service was great, the food not so much. My wife and I both had the chicken fried steak sandwich; the breading was bland and lacked seasoning, the meat was very grizzly and tough. The fried okra was very good and so too were the hand cut fries, although it might be time to change the grease, as sandwiches and fries were very greasy. I would add pickles to the sandwich and put the mayonnaise on the side, way too much mayonnaise on the bun. One last thing; my wife asked if she could substitute fried okra for the fries since they both were the same price on the menu and they gladly did but then charged us for the one for one substitution..... seriously? Will never go back and will tell all of our relatives and friends to eat somewhere else in Branson. read more

Came for the catfish dinner. Not sure what coating is used, but it is supposed to stay adhered to the fish...it did not. We did not want fries, so opted to substitute with green beans. On the menu, fries as a side are $4 and green beans are $3. Simple math, right? For the same entree price, I opted for the green beans, at a savings of $1 for the restaurant. But no! In order to substitute, I would have to pay a $1.99 up-charge. A two piece catfish filet meal was already over $18. Earlier in the week, we had a meal at a nationally-known country-cooking restaurant, where we had an option of 2-3 sides of our choosing, for a lower price and higher consistent quality. I know this place has good ratings, that why we wanted to try it. Try it we did and try it again we will not. This level of inflexibility and sub-par quality suggests to me that it will follow the same path as its predecessors. read more

This was the first restaurant we ate at in Branson and it did not disappoint. We had the fried pepper jack cheese cubes as a starter and then the crispy chicken salad for our meal. Both were delicious. Especially the chicken! It was amazing and I could have eaten a whole plate of just those little nuggets. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. There was a musician in the corner playing live music which we enjoyed. He wasn't so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. We had lunch there recently! The food was good but the tourist prices was a sticker shock for me . I had chicken fried steak, it was nearly $18.00. I have had it at Texas Roadhouse recently for 10.99 (and there prices have went up also). Of course we eat dinner early so they have a 3 to 5 menu. But to compare the two meals I like Texas Roadhouse better. And it's a whole lot cheaper. I guess I just can't get used to higher prices in a tourist town, so if you don't mind paying high prices by all means check this place out. When we got there we stood up front waiting to get on the list for about ten minutes but they only had two waitresses so it didn't bother me. We did get seated almost immediately once they came to the front because four tables left back to back. The staf is very attentive and it wasn't just our waitress that took care of us. Both waitress and a nice man in overalls came out to fill our drinks so we had great service. They are all very friendly. The food was good, but not nothing that would make me go back again. Unfortunately when I travel I always feel like the food is never as good as back in Texas, so nothing on them, we just have better food in Texas. Would I recommend this restaurant to people in the area traveling, definitely. I do recommend avoiding the cheese bites, not good. read more

This is one of the best meals I had on my Branson adventures this summer. It's is home cooking at a reasonable price.
