The fried fish had too thick of a crust but overall very tasty, but greasy. The chicken in the chicken wraps didn't look appetizing, the whole thing though was pretty tasty, but way too sweat, someone who had a couple of IPA's wouldn't have noticed though. And it seemed as the chef didn't care to cut up the chicken as I got almost whole tender pieces. The cauliflower was great! You could say almost fit. The coleslaw was extremely fresh, as if they cut the cabbage themselves and make it all 'housemade' -idk if it's true but I was impressed considering a lot of places choosing the easy way and using everything prepared! I met a new group here for dinner, some drinks and enjoying a band. The food prices were really reasonable and a really nice menu with lots of choices. I had the Fried Green Tomato Caprese, and it was exceptional and very different. I had a beer, which was nice and cold. Those around me seemed to be enjoying their food as well. The service was slow, but I think it was because of a rush of a few large parties and insufficient help, as is the norm these days. The band was really loud, and I didn't know the music they played, but I still enjoyed myself. I would definitely go back. read more

There seems to be some trouble at LBC. Server told us our beer flights would take some time because a bar tender called out. That doesn't explain why our food order took so long. The place wasn't that busy, yet our wait was outrageous. It looked like there were not enough staffers to handle the small crowd. Food was fine. Service is 50% of the deal. Family dinner on vacation we stopped in here mainly for the $9.99 bottomless boneless wings Weds and Ladies Happy Hour/drink specials. We arrived shortly after 6 to learn all drink specials ended at 6... disappointing but spent less $ here as a result. Teens and husband ordered the wings (which come out 5 at a time per person) and I ordered the sliders plate. My sliders came with house made chips which none of us liked. We had to pay over $3 to get an order of basic crinkle cut fries. This place could definitely increase patronage by offering potato wedges or seasoned wedges/fries of some sort (like Buffalo Wild Wings). By checking in on Facebook & showing our waitress my husband got a free 1/2 order of their signature buffalo cauliflower. We all sampled a few pieces & found it interesting to try but nothing we'd crave and order again. Our waitress was attentive in returning to refill drinks and boneless wings refills. We saw a huge delicious looking large slice of bourbon chocolate cake served to a table nearby. Maybe Saturdays are their off-days, but nothing was on target this trip at all. Could always count on good service & food from this place but not anymore. Service was terribly slow (even drinks). When our food finally arrived, the French Onion Soup was barely warm & my cheese sticks were so overly done, they were burnt black. Our server blamed the kitchen, but it was HER fault for serving visably burnt food. Hubby's chicken sandwich was dried out & barely edible. I sent the cheese sticks back & by the time another order was brought, everyone else was done eating. Again, our server blamed the kitchen for just about everything. This once was a go-to place for us, but we stopped going every week because prices were on the rise, & quality was on the decline. Now, several months later, it seems to still be slipping. The last couple of visits I have been lucky enough to get Dasha as my server...moving forward if she is working I plan to request her as my server. She takes great care of her customers by being super attentive, personable, and helpful with great recommendations. We had a BLAST on Friday during Latin night showcasing orchestra Fuego! We danced, drank and the crowd was amazing. The servers were attentive, friendly and handled the event professionally. This was our first time here and the drinks and food were delicious and affordable. I don't know why they serve their specialty beers, which cost more, in smaller glasses, but if you order the standard drafts, you get a full glass at affordable prices. This is a great and much needed venue in Palm Harbor. Hopefully places like this will open in other areas of the Tampa Bay Area. Live venues like this are much needed. read more

It's pretty loud inside with all of the TVs on and this is great if you're coming to watch the games. Not so great for a "getting to know you" type of date. Plenty of parking. The food was so-so and overpriced therefore I won't be back. The place had some great weekday food specials (taco Tuesday, wings Wednesday). $12 Cobb salad with $3.99 add on for blackened chicken. That blue cheese was gross. The chicken was tough. The bacon was not crisp. The ranch dressing was kinda sweet, not to my liking. The egg whites were rubbery. Too many lettuce stems, butts of romaine lettuce stalks chopped right in, and a few brown slimy pieces. But it looked AMAZING and the portion was large. The chicken breast was a little on the small side but to be expected for $4. Also the blackened seasoning was a little funny tasting. The meatball cupcakes were better. They have ketchup on top and gravy on the bottom which tasted a little odd together but doable. read more

We went to see Stormbringer and decided we'd go early for dinner. Huge mistake. 1st, our waiter couldn't bring us water.. that should have clued us in on the experience to come. 4 of us ordered appetizers. Chips, wings, and I ordered a wedges salad. Wings, chips come.. no salad., 20 min later I ask about the salad. He's stumped. Tells me it's in the computer.. ok? 10 min later I ask again. "It should be out". Yes.. I agree it should.. where is it? 10 min later he comes to take our orders. I order the Philly cheesesteak and ask about my salad. "It should be out".. yeah.. we know.. Dinner comes, I tell him to cancel the salad. He says "OK".. like an SNL skit.. no apology.. no "I'll get that salad on the house , so sorry... " nothing My cheese steak lacked any flavor. Love this hidden gem in a boring shopping center!! Their food is amazing! I'm a mozzarella stick junkie and these are out of this world! They are this of manicotti and handmade! On Nov. 30, 2024, my daughter and I went to LBC for lunch. We had dined there many times in the past and our meals had always been good. Today was different. First of all, we each ordered a glass of Kendall Jackson Sauvignon Blanc and an appetizer of Chicken Nachos. When the wine was served, we realized that the wine was actually Chardonnay and we informed our waitress. She verified it with the bartender and then brought us the glasses of Sauvignon Blanc that we initially ordered. About halfway into eating the nachos appetizer, my daughter looked closely at it, and then pulled out a long human hair from the appetizer. We informed our waitress and she took it away. We waited(as we asked ) to be served our main dishes. Our meal proceeded . We noticed that our server was the ONLY one taking care of tables. There was a food runner, but service was very slow due to the fact that only one poor server was taking care of the whole restaurant... we estimated there were about eight tables actively needing service. When we finished our meal, we ordered another two glasses of wine. When it didn't get served after 15 minutes, my daughter went over to the bar where the bartender was having an animated conversation with a "friend." My daughter asked about our wine and the bartender told her "They are right over there, you can just take them. My daughter realized the wine was not what we ordered (again) and challenged the bartender and she pulled down our check,looked at it and then poured the correct wine for us, which my daughter brought over to our table herself. Meanwhile our waitress, Cadence, was working very hard to take care of all the tables herself. As we were drinking our wine, Cadence brought our check, and told us she had "comped" the nachos and did not charge us for the second wine. We have NO problem with our server! She was amazing, and considering what she was up against made her a rockstar in our book! BUT the restaurant has greatly gone downhill in cleanliness and food prep since our last visit. My sandwich was soaked in grease on the bottom, and it appeared to be just thrown together. My daughter's shrimp, to me, did not seem entirely cooked, also. It also appeared to us that the service help was not too conscientious about sanitary and health requirements... ie: food carrier had long hair... straggly and unkempt not even secured with any hair restraint or covering. The smell around our table was a mix of Clorox and mildew, also. This will be the LAST TIME we will visit this establishment, I am very sure. I sincerely hope Cadence looks for a job at a more upscale and customer friendly establishment as she was the only good part about our meal. I wouldn't give this restaurant more than ONE STAR... which is me, being generous, and that is for our waitress, Cadence! (She earns FIVE stars) I'll be sure and pass our "experience" at LBC on to all my friends, also. read more

LBC is always good fun, great selection of drinks and food. Staff are really nice. Plus for us it's close to home.

We have been to Local Brewing multiple times and have always been impressed with the atmosphere, service and food. The restaurant is set back in a plaza off of US 19 in north Palm Harbor. The dining area includes a huge bar and high top seating on on side with a stage and low top tables on the other. If you like live music there are band there often on the weekends. Outside is a great area that they have transformed into a dining and gaming spot. Our server was attentive and recommended beer selections and food. We tried the mozzarella logs, the pretzels and a consortment of craft burgers. The food was excellent - everything hot, fresh, and tasty. Local also has a terrific craft beer selection and cocktail bar. If you're in north Palm Harbor I would definitely recommend checking out Local Brewing! read more

From the time we arrived for lunch, everything was wonderful. The space is cool with large TV's everywhere and decor of skateboards and 80's/90"'s music playing. Our waitress was cordial and on top of things. We had the Zeus salad and naked wings. Omg! The Zeus was THE BEST EVER! The wings were crispy and I couldn't decide between n which sauce so she brought me out 3 kinds: Fukushima, buffalo and Thai. The Thai was best and hotter than the other two which I prefer. Took my hubby and son for dinner yesterday. The guys ordered a flight of beers and we had dinner. The Buffalo Cauliflower was undercooked, my son ordered a burger well done which was very undercooked more like rare. My hubby had a pulled pork sandwich was good and my sliders were good. When the beer was delivered, one of them splashed all over including me which she just said sorry. Not great service but I still tipped as I know it's hard these days. As we were ready to go someone cam over and asked us which my son showed how raw the burger was and they offered to remake but we needed to go and he ate a good portion. That said the selection was good and tasty. My fav was the Founders Porter. There's a Groupon if you'd like 2 flights on the cheap. The Fig n Pig Flatbread was the clear winner of the night. Surprisingly delicious. The fig and balsamic seemed like they might be too redundant but it worked perfectly, and the bread seemed to be more of a parmesan focaccia, really tasty in its own right. If I eat here again that's definitely what I'm getting. The baked brie and apple on croissant had either no brie or so little it was unnoticeable. The waitress was kind looking at it, and brought more brie... But it was just a slab, uncooked, so it was just an added oddball. Appreciate the effort - but the kitchen should up the brie in there. The caprese fried green tomatoes are an oddball if you think about it, since it's ripe tomatoes atop unripe tomatoes. I feel like there's a fun pun in there. I'm looking at you, author of "Fig n Pig." They were ok. The red tomatoes were those tragic factory farm tomatoes with no flavor that monopolize Florida, so those would certainly need replacing if this is going to taste good. Failing that, good fried green tomatoes have a salty spice mixed into the breading, a no show here. Wouldn't recommend. My friend got a passion fruit cheesecake slice as dessert. I ordered the Coppertail Shrimp for delivery. I chose blackened chicken. When the food arrived at my door, I opened it up, took one bite of the chicken and it was like rubber. That's what happens to meat when you microwave it. Maybe it wasn't microwaved but something was done during preparation and/ or cooking of this meat that is not good and not normal. I've never had rubbery chicken like that in my entire life. It was so disgusting that I could not even chew and had to spit it out. So , I'm thinking : "OK, I can deal with that. I'll just eat the pasta." I am a foodie and I cook a lot and I know about cooking with alcohol. The pasta tastes just like beer. It literally taste like someone just put beer in the sauce mix and did not allow the alcohol to cook down. The entire dish was a disaster. read more

Slow afternoon and my wife said hey I bought a Groupon for a brewery on 19 got a couple flights. Headed down, arrive and I'm surprised how big it is and we walk in. Have to be honest maybe the name shouldn't be brewing... if ya don't actually brew any beer there. Got a flight.. of other peoples beer and a chi-town hotdog. It came out and really it's a 12" sausage and had huge chunks of tomatoes, pickles with hot green peppers. It was a sloppy mess and I had already cut it in half. After the first half I went in knife and fork. First half I tasted bread and sausage. Going at the second half you could actually taste other stuff. The food I saw around us was pretty much the same sloppy looking food I had. Probably won't be back. read more
