We arrived right as they were opening so they weren't quite ready for us. Waitress was kind of a mess. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is old and a little smelly but options are limited for Palm Harbor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Kind of wish we hadn't got off the trolley here because we were stuck for nearly an hour. Ordered drinks and cheese fries. All were good. Wouldn't stop here again though. 3.5 stars.

We enjoyed a nice meal and a cold beverage with friends. All of our dishes were very good. The service was excellent as well. Noteworthy was the Sangarita, I'm not a wine person, but my wife's was delicious.

I would say over all the food was good. I didn't get anything crazy (a salad) but my husband said the fish was good. Well cooked and seasoned, just a little underwhelming. However we would go back, the food isn't a reason to turn away! The only issue we had (and maybe this contributed to the sour mood) was our server wasn't the best, especially with us being the only ones in his section. That and some rowdy customers (but that's not on the establishment). Over all I would go again just maybe sit els where !

A large, touristy dive bar, filled with locals enjoying the live music on the back patio. There are full bars outside and inside. On the back patio, they didn't clean the debris off the chairs as we were seated. A beer we requested had a peeling label and expired in 2023. The waiter tried to redirect us when we custom ordered a margarita. The food is good. The special was a very good rendition of Penne alla vodka with lobster in the sauce and lots of tail on shrimp.

    Thanks , Brittany!

Having drinks at the bar with a fabulous bartender, Brittany. She was ultra attentive with great advice on drinks. Loved the wine she recommended.

I grew up in the Midwest, with a typical "meat and potatoes" diet. On the rare occasion that…read moreseafood was on the menu, it was typically a frozen variety like Groton's, or the occasional fish fry at the Elk's Club. That's changed since moving to the Gulf Coast of Florida, where the fish at the local restaurant today was probably swimming yesterday. My "go-to" seafood now is a grouper sandwich which I order blackened but NOT fried. I've sampled grouper sandwiches from many local dining establishments, but my favorite is from "Carvor's Fish House" A couple of important notes: 1) Carvor's is only open for LUNCH. Their hours vary, so you'll want to check the website, but they typically close at FIVE PM, with the last order accepted at FOUR PM. 2) Carvor's has NO inside dining The patio is tree-shaded with extra umbrellas but if it's really hot, you may be uncomfortable. 3) Carvor's has COUNTER SERVICE. You go inside, order your food and THEN go back outside and select a table. When your food is ready, a server will bring it to your table. 4) This is downtown Dunedin, and parking can occasionally be a challenge on Douglas Street, but FREE parking is available in the city parking garage across the street. Pictured is my "blackened grouper" sandwich. A refreshing change from the usual French fries is their homemade chilled tomato, cucumber and onion salad. Delish!

The next time, we went for lunch and they were out of some things that we initially ordered, but we ended up with a heating plate of fried things that kind of felt like bar food. It is a cute spot and I would probably try it again. I just did not think it lived anywhere near up to the hype that most locals give it.

My husband had the soup, I can't remember the name but one they always have, and it was so delicious. I had the tomato salad and it was perfect. The dressing served with the tomato salad was so good. Last but not least their key lime pie is the best we have had anywhere, ever!!!! Sorry we didn't get pictures but we were too consumed in the moments to mess with our phones. We will be back!!!

The fish and chips that were so good have been off-tasting the last couple of times. And the chips have been soggy because they put the fish on top of it. Furthermore, the last time we were there, our server who was excellent, misunderstood and brought us one order each of two different kinds of peel and eat shrimp. My Husband didn't want to say anything so we just had to suck it up and pay for it. Which that is our fault for not mentioning anything, but the one variety tasted like chemicals. It was so bad neither of us could even eat one whole one out of the batch. This does not mean that I'm writing the place off, because even at that last meal that was so disappointing, another couple who was with us loved their meals. I will go again, and I will get one of those probably. Because the service there is really great and our first few visits were stellar. Maybe there has just been a change lately that has put them in a temporary slump, or maybe we just happen to get unlucky three times in a row.

This location is way better!! It's (3) levels and I sat at the top on this gorgeous day! Drinks are great for happy hour which runs from 11:00am-6:00pm great drinks for $5!!! I had the BEST Crab Cake since I moved (3 years) to Florida! Don't agree with a $35 dollar price tag..BUT it was Soooooo buttery, that I was scraping my skillet for more. Service was great! They might have been short handed..I'm just assuming...but the waiter was making my drinks! That alone is a SUPER bonus!! All-in-all I will come back! I'll be back for the crab boil..they have (3) to choose from and they look delicious! I was snacking all day, so "Linner" was light.

We started with the happy hour OG margaritas. They were ok, nothing stellar. We had fish spread for an appetizer- it was about a 1/2 cup portion with pickled jalapeños, celery sticks and baby carrots (which was kinda odd- never thought to eat carrots with fish spread). It was delicious. I had the lobster roll with fries. Generous portion of lobster. The toasted roll was perfect. Fries were pretty average beer battered type fry. My husband had the crab cakes with fries and coleslaw. They had a decent amount of crab to filler ratio. The serving size was average. The coleslaw is a chopped style. I didn't care for the taste of it, it reminded me of a store bought variety. Overall our meal was good. The service was friendly and it was very clean inside.
