I'm sure Natalie is a good bartender if she had a better/possibly more experienced second bartender. The girls looked overwhelmed in the bourbon bar. Awesome late night spot. I am obsessed with the crane game, Photo Booth, atmosphere is really cool. It is open late. Food is above bar food expectations. The partner was extremely sweet and I am glad I spent $40 in ones here instead of at a strip club. read more

Food is amazing. The bar kitchen just closed down and the bartender went to the back kitchen cook still fried me some mozzarella sticks and pickles. Keep up the good job bartender and kitchen staff. When I travel to this area of Florida, I don't expect 5 star food or service. This is a a strong 4 star for me. Decent, highly affordable bar food, drinks were strong and the help was kind. The speakeasy in the back was a pleasant surprise! read more

Thought it was an okay place until I noticed the 18% gratuity added to my bill. Now the measly $10.00 BLT is up charged to $12.00. Added gratuities are supposed to be posted by law. I always leave a good tip for food service anyway if it's deserved. read more

I always enjoyed going here. I usually go in late night, typically on weekends, and it is high energy with a DJ and a great dance club atmosphere. My biggest problem was the fact that they don't serve wine up front. You have to go into the back room to get a glass of wine, and it is quite expensive, even the house brand. The biggest problem was that when I would go that room was often closed already so I couldn't get a glass of wine. This was something I had questioned the bartenders about a couple times, but they didn't seem to care. Anyway, a few times I saw at the main bar on the bottom shelf of their cooler some little split bottles of what turned out to be champagne or prosecco, so I would ask about those, and they were reasonably priced. As I recall. I got those a number of times. This last weekend. I asked for what I thought was the same thing, but it turned out what I got was Moet champagne which I found out later is very expensive. I had two of those and I got my bill and naturally was very surprised to see $22 a piece for 2 little split bottles of champagne that I used to get previously for seven or eight dollars. I really feel it was like a bait and switch. As soon as I said something to question that they told me I was banned. They told me to get out and that I was never to come back again. When I offered to pay the tab they said no, get out, you're banned and never come back again. I thought that was very strange. It just didn't make sense when you offer to pay a tab and they say no we don't want your money, just get out, so you've got to wonder. I'm very disappointed in this bar because I always enjoyed coming here for the special parties they have throughout the year and their high energy dance music. Just think twice before going, and if you do never question anything that they do or say..I'm not giving them the lowest star because I still think it's a cool place, but I was very sad in the way I was treated. As a side note, my friend went back in and questioned why I was banned. They said every time I go in I question the bill. It is very unusual for me to do that, although I would if i thought it was incorrect and then they would either fix it or say that I was wrong and I'd realize that and of course pay it. If I did what they said every time then why would I leave a good tip, which I always did. Again, that doesn't make sense either. I'm very disappointed to have to write this review for what I thought was a pretty cool place. read more

Disappointed. Went here recently with a few friends. We got there and sat quickly(it was empty except a few men at the bar). We didn't realize food didn't get served until 5 pm(our mistake we arrived at 4:35) but decided we could wait the 25 minutes and chat. At 5, we asked if the kitchen staff was in(we were told they were late and not sure when they would get in). Ok. Still waited. Saw the waitress and a male chatting around 5:35 and asked when we could finally order food. We were now told depended on what we wanted to order?!?! Ok. We choose easy stuff boneless wings and a burger(their Thursday night $8 special). I think it was the cook who finally came over at 5:40 asking what we wanted to order as that would depend on what he could do?!?! We are beyond confused but order our food. It FINALLY gets brought out around 6. It was alright to say the least. My burger was BEYOND overcooked and had zero flavor. The fries were good. The boneless wings were ok. Trying to get the check took lots of attempts to get the waitress despite a still empty restaurant. The back room, for wine and specialty whiskey, was supposed to open at 5 and that was late as well. I understand places are finding it hard to get workers but I'm afraid if they don't get things straightened out, they will be just a bar again. Wanted it to be good... totally disappointed. We walked in and sat at the bar. We watched the bartenders talk to each other, and then watched them talk to some regulars. They walked past us 4 or 5 times without even saying hello or acknowledging us. Won't go back. Somebody else wants the $money$ we want to spend! read more

Chef Nate Cahill puts out some tasty food!! The Kool Ranch Chicken pizza is crispy and flavorful! I added a little Franks sauce and I will now dream of this pizza daily! The fried pickle bites are small bite size spears that are super tart with a crispy, super crunchy, coating. Dip these in their tasty, thick ranch dressing - WOW, dam delish! The wings too are cooked perfectly: tender, juicy and crispy on the outside!!! read more

The old Danny's on Curlew is now Bar23fifty. My wife and I used to go up once or twice a month, not lately. The remodel is Spectacular ! That's where the awesomeness ends. The service is horrific, and the food is below average. The gal behind the bar is horrible, and we're AT THE BAR. Completely un-interested. 7 whopping people in the entire place. Disappears for 10 minutes at a time, then another 10 as she forgets my beer entirely. The food? The only bread in the building is hoagie roll and brioche bun. Server never mentioned that. On a Wednesday ? Wtf. Do NOT tell me I caught them on a "bad night". My wife orders the BLT, it's supposed to be served on sourdough as described or even white bread, no its Brioche for you! I think thats a $10.99 BLT. The fries are the WORST. I had the loaded Philly..decent. Meh. Bartender (Chelsea) never brought silverware, napkins or ketchup, just dumped the food and ran. Typical sports bar. Went there to watch some college football and eat some bar food. Great place to watch a game, food not so much. Ordered wings, pizza and fried pickles. Thumbs down on all three. Wings had none of the flavor we ordered (garlic parm). Fried pickles were a nasty clump of something jammed into a 2x4 serving tray. The pizza, was ok, but for 14 dollars it was the size of a personal pan, four slices, seriously. Server working the bar was outstanding, props to her. So if you go, drinks yes, food no. read more

don't get ripped off by this place and their "specials" - we went for the 2 4 1 deal - they almost doubled the price of the drinks before giving you the 2nd one free - normal things that at $3.50 - cost $6 during the special so you only save $1 ; so misleading and wrong..... nice enough place and staff but will never go back or recommend it since they are ripping you off so much; just do away with the special instead of "cheating" customers into thinking they are getting a deal. read more
