Stopped in for dinner and ended up having a really good experience. The wings came out hot, the skin was nice and crispy, and the sauce had a lot of flavor without being too overwhelming. Definitely something I'd order again. Julia was our server, and she did a great job checking on us throughout the meal. We can eat at two Whiskey Wing locations but we bypass the closer one to come to the Countryside location. The food is so much better here. The environment is better. The Oldsmar location went overboard with the arcade and the food is mediocre there. read more

So we decided to try the new place in Countryside. The sign when you walk in says "please seat yourself ". We grabbed our seats. It didn't look that busy as there is only one other table in our section that was filled. We waited approximately 15 minutes without being acknowledged that someone would be with us, or that they were finishing up a party, it was like we weren't even there. After waiting that long in a place not even packed, being acknowledged, or at least informed. We decided to leave. We can't comment on anything else because we didn't even get a dining experience. My date night recently arrived for the first time at whiskey wings countryside about 7 PM. Our server did come over several times to check on us. When we are ready order my date wanted the coconut mojito and I requested a straight up gin martini and I asked if the bar had blue cheese olives, the waitress said yes they did. Server came back few minutes later and said they were out of coconut mojito, so my date ordered the mango mojito. The waitress came back 3rd time and said they were out of mango mojito as well, so my date had to settle for regular mojito. Drinks came back and my Gin martini had no olives. I said I had requested blue cheese olives, the waitress then said they did not have blue cheese olives, I said you have any olives at all? The waitresses shook her head no, offering no explanation or apology. I would expect restaurant and bar this size to have the proper supplies necessary early on a Saturday night. Not a busy night. Bartenders didn't look happy and didn't engage much with customers. Ie no smiles, no how is everything, no can we get you anything else. 6 other customers said the same as we were leaving. Food was just ok, burger overcooked , some lettuce in sandwiches looked like seaweed. No one asked if everything is ok nor did they acknowledge us when the walked by. By far the WORST service I've had at a restaurant for as long as I can remember. Sat down and ordered a beer, and while ordering, a waitress was yapping with a co-worker about someone losing their gun there? Okay, whatever, it's Florida, and I have heard of crazier things before. Weird, but no big deal. Got our beers and waited 30 minutes before we were able to even order food (mind you, the place was near empty), but somehow we were forgotten about? Put in our food order with one waitress. After waiting for an hour, we flagged down another waitress and asked if our food was on the way. We were informed they never ended up putting in our order, despite the waitress who took our order showing off her feet to some people at the bar. After the mad scramble to pull together the food that was forgotten about, we were told we would be comped a round of drinks for the wait. The bill comes around, and we have to tell them we were being comped for a round of drinks for the hour wait because it was on our bill (you would think they would recognize their bad, bad service, but clearly not) Look at the bill, and it's all mixed up between a friend and me. We decided to say screw it, pay the bill, and dice up the difference via Venmo because they couldn't even get the bill correct, albeit what can you expect after one instance of nonsense after another. Would give 0 stars if possible, hell, negative stars if I could. Will not be returning and will be actively advocating for people not to visit this establishment. read more

We went for lunch and was one of four other tables in a very large area, just two servers who stayed behind the bar. They only came out when necessary and weren't very outgoing, only the required words were said. We ordered wings, of course, and onion rings. I liked the wings (medium hot with Garlic Hot sauce) but husband thought they were overcooked. The menu said they get the largest wings possible, but I guess only small chickens were sacrificed that day. The onion rings were definitely frozen, not freshly made, a disappointment. If you like average sports bars, give it a try. read more

New Whiskey Wings in Clearwater for birthday dinner...pretty tasty - had old fashions and spinach/artichoke dip, potato skins and wings with Jamaican jerk rub (very good). Others ordered Garlic hot wings said they were "so so" - couldn't taste the garlic just butter. Had karaoke going on but couldn't hear as the sound system echoed. They need to project questions on tv screens. Prices are average but need to list price of drinks & cocktails because waitress had to look each one up. All in all was just "average" not "wow". Decent size crowd and service of food was fast. There is a happy hour but we arrived a little late for it. I'd try it again. read more

Waitress came over when we got there,, took 3 of our orders left then when she brought our drinks took the others. She never returned the entire time we were there and we had to go to bar to order our own. She did however return later and just put our bills on the table.
