Wonderful lobster bisque with toasted buttery bread. Really no need to upgrade and add more lobster to this one, as it is perfect as is. The Connecticut lobster roll was very tasty but you will need to spend more and go to the XL to really appreciate it. The lobster to bread ratio is not good on the regular size. The lobster itself was cooked nicely- tender and sweet. The bartender was fun and chatty. We will be back.

This place is one of the newer restaurants at Sky Deck and it was fun to sit at the bar. It's a great idea to have lobster roll sliders to be able to sample the different variations, although I thought two of them tasted quite similar and couldn't tell which one was the truffle one since they both tasted like truffle. Service was quick and efficient but prices are on the slightly steeper side compared to other places in Sky deck. Otherwise great option!

Outstanding! Have been waiting for a lobster roll place in the area for so long. But this place is so much more than just rolls. Check out their extensive menu. Place was quite empty when we came in. Chose a table insides ambiance is clean, modern and chill. Elevator access to the sky deck right at the entrance. They have inside and outside tables available. Everything that we ordered we really liked. Black caviar was a nice touch.

Friendly attentive service in a prime indoor/outdoor location at the Sky Deck in Carmel Valley. The lobster is fantastic. Really enjoyed the California style lobster roll and looking forward to trying lobster Mac n cheese on our next visit

    Lobster Roll Feeling Truffly

We absolutely loved the outdoor patio! Nice and romantic and we were lucky enough to hear live music from the saxophone! The folks helping us were very accommodating and the food was so fresh and delicious! It's one of those places you just want to linger longer. The lobster rolls really were top notch and much better than others I've had in the area. The bread is so good and the chips are extra light and crisp.

I visited on a weekday and had the lobster ravioli with a cocktail, both were amazing! The ravioli was cooked perfectly, and the staff is extremely friendly. I will definitely be back!

The sauce was delicious though, but it was just a bit too drenched. The service was OK, but definitely not overly friendly. Started off to a rough start with the live music blaring, I think it was perhaps a teen band. Thankfully, they did end up, turning down the volume, so I could actually hear the friends I was at dinner with. The gentleman host was very friendly, though. I got the wedge salad and it was a bit underwhelming. It just wasn't very flavorful, but it was fine. My friends got burgers which they said were pretty good. Their health inspection score was 99/100 which is great; but that one violation they had was not washing their fruits and veggies. That is concerning to me. Because of that and not being WOW'ed by the minimal dishes I ordered, I will most likely not be returning. Great location though and very cute ambience.

We ordered a lot, which we started with the asparagus fries and california salad. For entries, we ordered the sea bass, fried chicken, and bistro plate. All of them were super delicious! We really appreciated the portion sizes as well. Out of all the dishes, the sea bass was the best. The fish basically melted in your mouth. Lastly, 100% order the butter cake. I was heading back…read moreto the freeway, passed a pizza spot and thought "too bad there isn't pasta" then I saw Aqua Mare, and that they had a happy hour. I can't tell you how many times I've been here since May of this year, and eaten a LOT of pasta, but also some pizza, and quite a few meatballs. I even told my office about this spot and we had 19 people come in. Dining as a couple or just hitting the bar is great, the chef is from.....Italy, I can't remember where in Italy but I recall it's a famous wine region. My girlfriend loves that both the Chef and the owner are Women, and straight from Italy. I really like her food. It is not easy to get fresh pasta, and she serves F R E S H pasta for every pasta (that I know of). There are other things like chicken marsala, and.....seafood, although I can't recall all of them, I know they have a seafood soup because I've pondered it. They do have great clams and mussels in a spicy tomato broth. But I have yet to try the seafood soup. For a large party, I think it's important to remember a couple things, they have a smaller kitchen, so it comes out in waives, but it's not very noticeable. And the price, you honestly can't beat the price. I'm gonna emphasize that last one a lot, you can not beat the price. The view is visible from both their patios and up to areas in their bar. My favorite thing here might be the pesto, and I add salmon to it every time. it's the perfect post workout food.

However, it almost came not to be because when the server came to take our order she said "you can't have happy hour on the patio" (this made no sense as every other patio table, except for one, was vacant). Fortunately a manager or the like overheard the conversation and said that it was okay. We found the corner table of the patio a great place to hang out with the pups and enjoy some food and drink; they had plenty of room to chill, and we could people watch. For drinks I tried their Oaxaca Old Fashioned; which was okay, but I've definitely had better (the OOF at The Remy for example). For my second drink I switched to beer, and I was quite impressed with the La Lupulosa IPA (from Insurgentes). As for food the wife and Itried: - Volcano Tostada x2 ($5 each) -- I wasn't a fan, but my wife liked it (makes sense as she is much more partial to chorizo than I am) - Ceviche ($12)- not to our liking as it was on the sweeter side (we like ceviche to have a nice kick to it; Mia's, like too many others, seem to Amercanize their ceviche for people not accustomed to spicy) - Fish Taco ($5)- it was fine, but not a standout in an - Chile Relleno ($22.50); it was good. - Empanadas x2 ($5 each) -- these were the standouts of the food; we both enjoyed them a lot, and this is what will get us back for their HH in the future. Total bill $100 + tip. Next time we come back will probably add in an entree to share as they list some good ones on the menu.
