Fish (haddock) and chips
Dara W.

Wow! Such a great place and right off the highway. Plenty of parking. The restaurant is fairly big with lots of seating. We were at a table with a view and loved it. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. We ordered fish and chips and a lobster roll. Everything was perfect. The fish and chips portion was huge so obviously took a to-go box. The bartender went above and beyond to bring over the NA beer options and a chilled glass...plus he gave his feedback on them. It was excellent service and very unexpected. Our server did a fantastic job checking in on us and making sure we were all set. I recommend checking it out because it's worth it.

Everything about this place is great! The staff is welcoming and super efficient, food is fresh off the boat, atmosphere is fun and has great views. The haddock chowder is too good!

Visiting town and locals recommended this spot. It was super busy at dinner time, so we knew it must be good. Didn't like that a lot of dishes were fried, but the food was good, drinks were good and the service was great! The French onion crock was good. However the Tuna Tower was amazing! I'd order that again in a heartbeat. Lazyman's lobsta was awesome. This is a great little sports bar restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Causal atmosphere and lively!

This place is always nearly full so call ahead. Many locals but also frequent visitors eat here. Food is seaside fresh seafood and land options, with a Gloucester twist. Drinks include modern cocktails and traditional beers and wines. Service and cleanliness excellent and nice outdoor space over looking the marsh in season. Lobster Land is Closed for winter ( late November).

My family stopped here during our trip to Massachusetts on Oct 14th and really enjoyed it! The food and service were great, everything came out fast, and the hot lobster roll was amazing!

First time visit, stopped in for a quick lunch on a busy Saturday place was packed. The service was excellent. The food was quick, hot and very delicious. Look forward to fish and chips again and the ambience was really nice to sit outdoors and look over the marsh

The company issued me a $35.00 refund that didn't cover the tip I left. I'll never go here again. No stars.

Fisherman's platter

Saturday evening had an early dinner with my mama at Lobsta Land, I've heard great things and this is my first time here. Got here at 5:30 and was seated at a high top at the bar. Our service was good for how busy it was. Three times we had to wave our waitress over to get refills and one for a problem with our meal (she never checked on us when the food runner dropped it off). We decided to split the fisherman's platter and sub out coleslaw for rice pilaf. The platter was much more expensive compared to places in the area and even Boston. A high whopping $60! I will say, it was good. Very skimpy on the shrimp and scallops. We had three scallops and 4 shrimp, it was a lot of calamari. The food was good but not worth that price for what you get. Maybe I will try something different next time!

This is THE spot! The place can accommodate all party sizes. We went there with some friends and were surrounded by people on dates, families enjoying lunch together and also big group of friends. The energy is fun and relaxing. The staff is friendly and on top of it. They were busy and quick at rotating tables, in the most efficient way without ever rushing anyone. We loved everything we shared, the combo platter, the mussels, the ceasar salad and the seafood bouillabaisse! The seafood bouillabaisse was absolutely DELICIOUS! - even in hot summer weather. I cannot wait to have it again! Their fries were delicious and so were their coconut shrimps! The view, the vibe, the food. It hits all the spots. The portions are generous and the price is reasonable. Recommend it to everyone!

Lobster BLTA

Extensive menu with awesome views of the water marsh when you choose to sit outside. I appreciate the glass windows outside, which helps breaks up the wind, so you can actually enjoy your meal without worry about things flying around. I had a hard time choosing what to get, but the lobster BLTA was delicious. Plenty to lobster and the bun was perfectly grilled. The side pickle was literally the crunchiest pickle I've ever been served. The side of fries filled the void, but I saw someone at the table next to us get the pasta salad, and that's what I would try next time. Looking forward to coming back when visiting family and trying the other seafood dishes on the menu.

Rude letter left on my car after driving 2 hours & eating there with large group

After spending on a huge bill with a group of friends we decided to venture out in one vehicle. I came back not too long to a nasty note. I posted a Google review and this place had the audacity to double down saying it's "impossible for me to have eaten there". They were upset that I was parked there before they open. Who cares!? you're not even open. I drove from 2 hours away! I don't have the receipt but will be posting my credit card report when I get it! Horrible experience! Terrible customer service

Ask the Community - Lobsta Land

When does lobsta land close for the season?

2 Sunday of December ! ☺️

Do they need reservations?

LobstaLand does take reservations though I think they might stop if they get to many. When we went, they had just stopped on reservations for the night but we were able to get in imediately anyway.

Are they wheel chair accessible?

It would appear so but would call the restaurant to make sure!!

Enjoyed the beautiful day, plenty of outdoor seating and seeing all the young baseball players and their families enjoying a meal! Drinks are inside at the bar, bathrooms could be cleaner haha. The food ran about $80 after lobster roll basket, clam chowder cup and two bottled drinks. Good amount of lobster, and picturesque for the amount on the plate. There was however no seasoning or flavor but some folks probably like the plain lobster itself. There wasn't much hot butter on our order, least none that we could really detect. Cooked well but super bland. The clam chowder was extremely watery and bland. Need like 3 packets of pepper and a packet of salt.. Everything else about the space, the view, the seating was great on a beautiful New England day! Staff taking your order at window was nice, pickup your food via buzzer at the further window!

Also seen on menu: lobster roll for $45. Not even kidding. But, a whole lobster for $25 and 2 for $35! Now that's a good deal. And they were good sized! Now that don't make sense. If I hadn't had pounds of lobster the previous week I'd have gotten that but I didn't have clams yet so that's what I picked. There was a live band blasting but luckily we managed to find a place inside on the veranda so it didn't bother us.

It was cool how they had seating at the bar and it's right by the kitchen. Our service was good. Very prompt and polite. Our friends ordered the calamari app and bread. Which the bread does run $4 but so worth it! So fluffy and freshly made. We all ate something seafood related. I definitely thought bigger than my belly. I had the fried fish sandwich with cheddar cheese on brioche bread. Comes with 2 sides: picked the garlic & buttered spinach and a baked potato. The sandwich did have a side of what tasted like their own house made tartar sauce. One of our guests split a cobb salad and another one ordered fish n chips that they all enjoyed.

I even saw someone unloading crates of fresh lobsters, which was fun to watch. The only downside is the walkway to the seating is VERY narrow. Service was quick and efficient. Clam Chowder: Thick, creamy base with lots of flavor. There were plenty of potatoes but not a ton of clams. Still, the creaminess paired really well with the lobster. Lobster: Exceptionally fresh with a slight natural sweetness. Dipping it in melted butter made it even better. I also appreciated that they pre-cracked it, which made it so much easier to eat. Lobster Roll: Loved the buttery bread it was served on. The mayo was light but flavorful, and the sides included coleslaw and potato chips.

Roy Moore Lobster is a very popular seafood spot in Bearskin Neck, Rockport!…read more It's finally lobsta season & I'm glad we got to stop by. The line is a little long but does move quick. They have tables in the back & to get there, you have to walk through this tiny alley way. Note: not many tables available. Be prepared to possibly share a table with others! Here's what we ordered from our visit: - boiled lobsters 1 1/4 lb (2)-- $18/ea - clam chowder (4)-- $7/ea - smoked salmon --$8 - hot lobster roll-- $32 - stuffed clam (2)--$3/ea - Coca Cola We decided to get the 1lb1/4 boiled lobsters. It was $18/each and we got two of them. Looking back, we probably should've just gotten the 3/$50 deal but it's okay. This comes with melted butter on the side. Lobsters were fresh & easy to eat. No complaints here. My favorite was the clam chowder! It had the perfect consistency, not runny & not too thick. It was also pretty flavorful! The only thing I would've liked to add is a little salt but other than that, very good. I'm a lover of New England Clam Chowder & this was exactly what I was looking for! Now, as for the smoked salmon, I would not order this again. I don't really know how to feel about this to be honest but it just was not my cup of tea. I like baked salmon, broiled salmon, and fried salmon, but I did not like this. Very dry & bland. I personally had the hot lobster roll, which was sautéed in butter. Not bad overall. It was not the best hot lobster roll I've had but it was serviceable. I didn't expect it to be so tiny haha. Seems like lobster rolls in general have shrunk. For the price & the size, it's not bad. I've had $50 lobster rolls that were the same size and less enjoyable, so I guess I can consider this one a win! I think next time, I will opt for a boiled lobster instead. Lastly, the stuffed clams were all right. They were okay; more stuffing than clams. The food also wasn't very hot, just warm cold. Overall, not a bad spot to hit up for some fresh seafood. Prices aren't too bad & the food is definitely fresh!
