The cafe is part of an apartment building that used to be a bank, so there are high ceilings and arched windows. The menu offers your classic espresso beverages as well as seasonal and specialty drinks. My all-time favorite is the dulce de leche latte. I've had it hot and iced. They have a machine that prints out cute messages/latte art on the surface :) The drink itself has a good balance between espresso, steamed milk, and dulce de leche sauce. The filling consists of ground beef, onions, bell peppers, hard-boiled eggs, and spices (cumin, paprika, oregano). The beef is juicy, savory, and seasoned with warm spices for a touch of heat. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and personable. They have a lot of loyal/regular customers (rightfully so) and there's a genuine sense of community here. This is the type of spot that will remember your face, name, and order. It's not easy to find great customer service nowadays.
