Highly recommend. My Granddaughter held her wedding here and it was so sweet lovey food, and atmosphere indoor and out.

I posted a picture at the end of this review. Each salad included a fluffy freshly baked roll. The only negative was the rolls didn't come with real butter, but instead some oil spread which was not ideal. I also had a piece of their blueberry pie which was amazingly not too sweet not "corn-starchy", which is so often the case. I can only imagine the rest of their food offerings are ample and great! The service was excellent, and the ambience was amazing! The entire restaurant was beautifully decorated for Halloween. The bathroom was clean and handicap assisted. I highly recommend that you stop here for lunch or dinner. I am quite sure you won't be sorry!

It severely lacked red sauce and the meat itself was very bland; we just didn't get that flavorful wet burrito experience we were hoping for. Outside of that, our servers were very good and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself was a pretty good size spot with plenty of seating; a little outdated on the decor but that's to be expected. I will say, the pieces of homemade pie they had sitting by the register way very tempting and I'm mad at myself for not getting one on the way out.

Our server was super sweet and everything on the menu sounded delicious. It's mostly typical bar fare, but they have some unique items like their Cluckin' chips and an emphasis on pickles. We got pickle chips and chips and salsa to start - the pickle chips were awesome! Super crispy and thinly sliced. I really liked these, and everyone else loved the chips and salsa as well. I ordered the chicken fajita wrap with fries and Nate got the pickle chicken wrap with Cluckin' chips. Our food was all hot and fresh when it hit the table, and I loved the chunks of peppers and onions along with tender chicken in the fajita wrap. The fries were just okay - I loved the Cluckin' chips though. They're the longer curly chips that you sometimes see at fairs. We ended the evening with a round of $2 mystery shots... you roll a dice and get whatever shot corresponds with that number. I still have no idea what I drank, but it was a fun experience. I would definitely come back for more food and drinks next time I'm at Lake Chippewa!

I had intended to try pasta Alla Norcina which I noticed last visit but the told me it's on the winter menu (I think that they were on the Spring menu). I spoke with the manager and he said to come back in two weeks and they will switch to the summer menu and that it contains his favorite pasta dish. We started talking about the Pasta Alla Norcinia and I told him my relatives are from Norcia Umbria and that I've made it several times. I told him I use Italian sausage and the manager said that the chef uses actual wild boar sausage. He said the chef has amazing connections for ingredients like this. They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that. It was delicious There are several items on the menu that I have to try. I took a few pictures of the Spring menu and I've added them below. The gulf shrimp is on my radar and I need to try the venison burger. I just need to get past the gyro lamb burger with tzatziki. It's just so good.

They were also doing a deal on their mocktails for dry January, which I thought was cool. The menu is pretty varied with lots of options for meat-eaters--I wouldn't come here if you're vegan or vegetarian. Entrees get a bit pricey (their steak frites is $49), but sandwiches are around $15-$18 and come with fries. I ordered the pesto chicken wrap with a side of mac and cheese instead of fries. My friend got the chicken and chorizo nachos and we decided to split them half and half. Our food came out quickly and looked really good! The wrap was tasty but I couldn't really taste the pistachio pesto. The mac and cheese was incredible--super cheesy, perfectly cooked cavatappi noodles, and very flavorful. I'm really glad I upgraded to that and would even consider getting the full entree size in the future. The nachos were pretty loaded, and a generous portion. I liked all the toppings but didn't really taste much chorizo. These would be a good starter for a group. Overall a very good experience and I would come back.

We went with a fried goat chase appetizer, which I've never had before, and never even seen on another menu before. The cook clearly enjoys using balsamic glaze as this was used on both the appetizer and later on my entrée as well. Balsamic glaze is certainly delicious, but I'm not sure if it goes well on quite as many things as the cook seems to think it does. My entrée was a dish of mushroom ravioli prepared in a purée made with green peas. I noted that the chef used a variety of spices in preparing the purée, to very good effect. My wife ordered the New York strip, and what was brought out looked very good. We both had cocktails, and in both cases the cocktails or well-made. I ordered a Mojito type drink made with tequila. My wife ordered a strawberry Mamosa. I noted the care that was taken in preparing both drinks which tells me there's a professional bartender on staff. About the only thing that needs to be improved is the service. We waited just a bit too long for certain aspects of the meal in a restaurant that was nearly empty. The server was certainly polite and well mannered, but I think he was the only one working that evening. Perhaps on weekends they're better staffed?
