Great food and service! We enjoyed Swedish crepes, menudo and super stacker. We got 2 free concha's as an appetizer.

Me and my husband came on 11/27/22 @10ish it wasn't packed they sat us right away. I got the horchata drink it was good it wasn't overly sweet but it didn't taste like how other horchata's taste like but it was good. Now me and husband debated on what to get because we didn't know what to get and the pictures on the menu look so good. I got the chicken guacamole stacker : the picture doesn't do it justice. The picture looked way better than the actual meal. The meal itself was ehh. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worse. My husband got the asada chilaquiles omelette. He said the same thing about the picture doesn't do it justice. It looks so much better on the picture than IRL. He said it was good but that he wished he would tried something else. It did start to pick up at 11:30 it did get noisy in there because there was a huge party being loud for no reason but besides that it was just ok. We can say we tried it and move on to something else. The only reason we came here was because the original place we wanted to go to was closed. read more

This is our third time coming to Loaded Cafe. The food is delightful. The menu is a cushion between Mexican breakfast and American breakfast. They have everything you could want from Steak and eggs to menudo. Our serve Josefina was very sweet and was willing to help us out even when she didn't have to. 1st time here and we were pleasantly surprised. Their shKes id what caught my attention and boy did they not disappoint. My daughter's had the banana nuttella & I had the banana almond cheesecake and everything was delicious. Our sever Jazz was really sweet and wonderful. Shes very courteous, attentive and personable. My girls always like to start conversations and she was very kind in engaging with the entire family making our meal very wonderful experience. She provided exceptional service. This is our second time here and the service is great. This time our server was Ruby and she helped us choose another item on the menu. She was also very attentive and came in to check on us often. First time I got the huevo con chorizo torta and it was delicious. Torta was toasted and slightly crunchy. Needed to try something new today so I went with the 2x2x2. Pancakes were thick and would order this again. My wife tried the chilaqules with red sauce and they were a nice size portion with good flavor. Great new family restaurant in OC. Service was great from beginning to end. The gentleman who seated us was friendly and personable. Our server was great she made sure to get us everything we asked for got our order correct and the food came out fast. The breakfast food was delicious I ordered the sirloin mini and the steak was delicious! My boyfriend ordered the pambazo and that was our least favorite they barely put any chorizo on the inside the potatoes are very large and it's mostly beans and lettuce on the inside. The decor is a bit outdated I think they could've remodeled the inside to make it look more modern. The reason for the 5 stars was for the outstanding customer service and the Swedish crepes so good! This place doesn't stand out from the outside, and it looks pretty American when it comes to the look and feel of the place. But the Mexican food is what stands out. I had the Asada chilaquiles plate, and I was very happy with it. The asada has a great marinade that makes it super delicious! The chilaquiles are good, but coulda used some actual spice. They indicate that it's spicy but it was pretty mild to me. The beans are good and everyone else in my group was pretty happy with their selections. I did try the pancakes and they were delicious and fluffy. I guess they're also known for mini cakes. We ordered a mazapán flavored one and a churro flavored one. The churro flavored one was really good, while the mazapán one was not bad, but not impressive either. It was a bit dry. They have a good selection of iced coffee drinks too. Overall, solid spot for breakfast! I'll have to go back and get lunch there. read more

Best surprise! We were down from San Diego in Anaheim for a hoops tournament. Starving and looking for an IHOP on our way back, gps led us here. It's a former IHOP but much better in my and my 16yo son's opinion. Learning moment of the day was Conchas! French toast made from Mexican pastry. DUDE! I had country biscuit bfast combo he had their version of a Grand Slam. Customer Service was great/friendly, and there was no wait. I came to this place because I had heard so many good reviews all to say it was overly hyped. I thought this place was okay. The place gets super packed so, expect a wait time. They give you free mini concha's but it's one per customer, and after you have to pay. The concha's are very small but they're fresh, and yummy. I was honestly let down on the food. Their serving sizes for food were pretty small, I expected bigger for the price you are paying. One of the things, i got was one of their specialty omelets and it literally looked like they just slapped a square of cheese on it. It definitely needed more flavor and seasoning. One thing, I would recommend is their desserts. Their desserts are really big, and tasty. They had a promotion going on if you post them and tag them they give you choice of your own crepe and they it's small but it's actually really big. I would say the ambience was average. Service was good, but just not my cup of tea. read more

I went here this morning with my girlfriends, as we are always looking for a good breakfast place. The server, Lilly, was exceptionally nice. The have traditionally breakfast fare, along with crepes, and Mexican items. We had French toast, menudo, and strawberry Nutella crepes. (I know we are eclectic in our choices). This place is extremely over hyped because of the influencers on tik tok. I went today for the first time and was disappointed. Our server never offered the free concha's or even mentioned it but all these tables around us where receiving them as soon as they sat by different servers. I tried the ice coffee flight and its was so disgusting the only one I would drink was the Carmel one, they flight wasn't even decorated or garnished like the videos or pictures. The place was empty around 9:30-10 am I could see why. The food was okay but that's all just okay. I had the chilaquiles and asada what grossed me out was the canned beans. I asked for my eggs over well. The server didn't know what that means she kept saying over hard and then she tried correcting me saying I meant over meduim well. News flash lady over well is a style of eggs but she gave me what she wanted. My husband got a burrito he also didn't think is was anything special. They charge a non cash fee that is not posted anywhere or is mentioned. I wouldn't return to this place. read more

My hubby and I went today to have breakfast. The food was outstanding and their coffee was excellent. I'm giving 3 stars because the service was terrible. Our waitress "20 Josefina" was the worst waitress I've ever encountered. She dropped my husband's fork and said she would get him another one. We'll she didn't! We waited & waited so I gave him mine. I had to ask for coffe because she sure didn't come up to refill my cup. I had to ask her for a box because again she never bothered asking if I needed one. Most places do ask if you need a box and refill your coffee without the patron having to ask. When she brought the bill she sure was all over that! I only wanted to tip her $2.00 but I'm not that kind of person. Doing and wanting are 2 seperate things. I gave her much more than she deserved. As soon as we got up from our table she came up to get the check and of course she looked at it to see her tip. She shouldn't have judged a book by it's cover because I would have given her double the tip I left her. Please train this lady on customer service because I don't ever want to be served by her again! read more
