Went here for the first time on a recommendation from a friend. Friday early evening, 3 of us, we were seated right away. The menu was small (usually means they focus on doing less things well, rather than many things mediocre). Beer selection was decent. I ordered the "Hot Honey Chicken Tacos." Was I wrong to expect the chicken to be tossed in hot honey rather than hot honey just drizzled over the fried chicken tacos? I was disappointed when I got what was set in front of me. Also, you're going to give me a mess of hot honey all over these fried chicken tacos and not have wet wipes?? My hands were like little kid sticky afterwards. The other two in our party of 3 had sandwiches. One got fries with their meal. The other got tater tots. The sandwiches came out without the sides. The fries shortly afterwards, but like 10 minutes later the tater tots finally came out after we spoke to the very nice waitress. I guess I don't understand why we can't send out complete meals with any kind of coordination. All in all the atmosphere was good. The waitstaff was nice. The drinks were good. The food was ok but overall it wasn't mind blowing. Oh! And I'm so glad I didn't have to drive or find parking because that was a hot mess in an of itself. You should go try it. You might have a better experience. I guess I expected more. read more

I am back in my hometown visiting family and friends. Everyone I know have highly recommended this place. Upon walking in, I immediately loved the ambiance of the place. The ambiance was great Our waitress was great. I have some interesting food allergies. The kitchen staff did a great job in preparing my meal. I had the burger salad plate. It was delicious and filling. I highly recommend that you check out Creekside! read more

Finally made it out to this spot for a birthday dinner with my wife and parents. I've been wanting to try this place forever -- our son played baseball at Shuttleworth Park for years, so I've driven by it a hundred times thinking, "One of these days..." Well, that day came -- and I kinda wish it hadn't. Started off with a beer -- tasted fine, but it came in what I can only describe as a juice glass for toddlers. I've seen communion cups with more volume. On the bright side, the Buffalo Trace pour was generous and done right -- finally, someone knows how to pour a proper drink. Now the food... yikes. It took so long I thought they were growing the ingredients out back. When it did show up, the plates looked like they'd been hit by a food shrink ray -- portions were weak. Worst offense? The cheesesteak came with zero cheese. I'm not even being dramatic. No melted cheese, no slice, no nothing. Just sad steak on bread. Felt like I got pranked. Only thing that saved this meal from total disaster was Randi, our waitress. She was on the ball -- super friendly, fast, and clearly doing her best while the kitchen was stuck in neutral. If you go, ask for her section. Seriously, she's the real deal. Bottom line: I wanted to like this place -- had high hopes. But unless they step up the portions, pace, and, ya know, actually put cheese on a cheesesteak, I'll be sticking to backyard grills and diner breakfasts. read more

4 of us came in at 8:50 on a Friday night and were told we need to hurry up and order food or the kitchen will be pissed. Ok fine. We ordered. The food was fine at best. We ordered 4 meals and a few apps along with around 3 drinks each. We're laughing and talking with some other patrons when the bartender came running over and said we're not allowed to say the F*ck word. In a bar. It was the WILDEST thing I've ever heard. He was dead serious and pointed to the grumpy owner and said he doesn't allow the F word. In a bar. Also kept saying we close very early when we asked about their game room. We weren't even being super loud and we were there spending $. Avoid this place. So bizarre and unwelcoming and empty. read more

The cheese tasted fake and it was so thick that that's all the pizza tasted like. There was no sauce (if there was it had absorbed into the massive amount of cheese).... Worst pizza I've ever had. My husband asked for another beer and the waitress took his glass, that was still 1/3 full from his first beer, instead of just bringing another one. We were charged full price for one refill both of our sodas, so it ended up being $10 for 2 sodas. The bill came and it was way more than expected. No one was friendly. While we were there, a customer went up to the bar to complain about his order. The chef came out and yelled at him, insisting that he did the order correctly. We will never visit this place again.

It's absolute heaven. They also have a peanut butter mousse pie that I keep telling myself I'm going to try someday, but every time I come here I can't bring myself to pass on the chocolate mousse pie. Maybe one day... although probably not. It's just too good. They have a take out window. Sometimes if I'm in the area I quickly pick some up for desert. It's so worth it.
