I LOVE CUBANOS. so when I heard about a new food truck, of course I was excited. I eat every day. I knew I had to track them down. I went today for lunch and holy cow. Was not disappointed!! Actually I was really impressed. The bread is "incredible buttery delicious" -my husband. The fries are way better than you'd expect from a sandwich food truck. The inside of my cubano was the perfect amount of pork, pickles, cheese, mustard, and mayo. Not too much of one thing- perfect. I can't wait to come back and try more things on the menu!!! The Caprese sounds so yum. Plus the prices are great and totally affordable. Not that snobby food truck price you end up paying with other places around town. 10/10. Would recommend. Everything about a Cubano sandwich is a must have. The ratio of mustard, pickles, beef, ham, bread, and love that makes this sandwich juicy and filling. The first time I stopped out I was happy with my purchase.I had their French onion grilled cheese sandwich with roast beef and they're spicy cubano. This time I was lucky enough to get their special the green pig. so the French onion grilled cheese with roast beef is exactly what it sounds like a delicious grilled cheese with sauteed onions and to nice helpings a slice roast beef. For $8 I'll call that asked or given the fact that you get crinkle cut chips in the box.however bear in mind these sandwiches are not for the light of stomach there's a really good chance you could share them.I say that because the sandwich normally takes up 3/4 of the box that you receive your food in. That's not a complaint I'm actually impressed with the place that serves a sandwich so big I only eat one sandwich at and at $8 that's a ridiculous value. The spicy cubano was a good consistency pickles spicy mustard standard cheese ham roast pork and hatch Chiles.don't let the name fool you it's not terribly spicy for people who are offended by heat but it has a great roasted chili flavor and all the standard flavors that you enjoy from a cubano. Today I had the green pig and it was damn Delicious pulled pork mozzarella cheese chimichurri sauce on a grilled bun yet another out of the ballpark sandwich for me totally happy about it and I look forward to dragging my family here probably their next date here at the Target plaza. read more
