I have reached out 20+ times through calling, 17 times through email, and am finally going in person today to the physical store to make this work. If your apartment/condo needs a COI do NOT make a purchase through living spaces. You will waste time, money, and your sanity dealing with complete idiots who have no idea how to do their own job. Absolutely terrible. Delivered damaged furniture and wanted to repair it. If I wanted furniture that needed repair I would have not spent the excessive amount of money I did. If I wanted to opt for replacements, I needed to wait a minimum of 4-6 weeks. One of the pieces didn't even have an eta. They only offered a small discount to keep the furniture which is what I opted for because I couldn't even think about having to deal with the awful customer service for over a month. read more

Purchased rug over two weeks ago with the promise of delivery within a week. Never received any type of email, text or call updating us on when the rug would be delivered. I had to call to find out where my order was. I was given one phone number after another to speak to someone who could tell me when my item would be delivered. After multiple phones calls, customer service tracking down the driver and my order I was told that my rug would be delivered between 12-2pm....Had to call again when I got home at 4pm and my rug was still not here, time moved to 6pm - Driver still not here after 7pm.... Let me start off by stating this rating is solely based on the experience AFTER the purchase, not the product....yet. The store was great, the sales people were great. 5 star experience until.......We purchased our sofa on Saturday 11/11/23 and was told that it is an In Stock item and should get delivered by Dec 5 2023 at the latest (5 weeks). Two days later (less than 48 hours) on Monday 11/13/23, we get an email stating that it has been delayed til Jan 5-12 of 2024 (10 weeks). We are not happy at all. The goal was to have this before Christmas. Also, the customer service absolutely sucks. You cannot call the local store. It's an 877 number and appears to be international representation. So we didn't get any questions answered and basically had the email that we already received, read back to us for explanation. Not helpful at all. Horrible communication and experience. We saw this couch on display in December. We were told it would be in stock in January and they refused to sell the floor model to us. We waited all the way until February for it to finally come back into stock. I was able to place the order and SCHEDULED the delivery for the 24th of February over the phone with a sales person. I had to take an unpaid day off of work so I would be available for this delivery. I called Living Spaces the day prior since I did not receive a delivery window. They told me that the delivery was not scheduled! I then had to reschedule it to the 1st of March and had to take another unpaid day off of work for delivery. I then was notified that they do not have my order in stock "because it is a popular item since it is a sectional and some pieces get sold faster than others". Does this mean they sold parts of my sectional for another order? Now it would not come until April possibly. Been on hold for approximately 30 minutes with no answer from the provided delivery resolutions team. Their communication has been horrible and they have been unwilling to make this problem right. I cannot recommend more strongly that you stay away from Living Spaces at all cost! I waited the standard length of time for a piece of furniture I ordered and upon delivery, it didn't fit in my stairwell or elevator. The options I was given - repeatedly and with no deviation in the customer service script - were to cancel the order, reselect, or refuse the delivery. All options came with a 25% restocking fee, so regardless of the option I chose - which included ended up with no couch at all or a couch that I didn't originally select - I would only receive 75% of my original purchase price as a refund. The customer service agent were horrific. I spoke to a lower level agent and then escalated it to their manager, both of whom only delivered the script, did not deviate, and did not provide any helpful solutions. When I tried to call the store directly to resolve the problem with a manager at a local level, it turns out you have to go through the national customer service line because there is no way to reach a store locally aside from physically going to the store. Some of the worst customer service representatives I have ever dealt with, who never provided a feasible solution and whose only response was that I would be charged a 25% fee for any action regardless of the outcome. Living Spaces delivery process is extremely customer unfriendly and overly expensive. I made an "as is" purchase of $700 and was told I had to make my own delivery arrangements with Living Spaces' delivery provider GoShare. The cost turned out to be $229. Go Share is nothing more than Uber or Lyft for large item deliveries. I had to sit in the parking lot, load the Go Share app, create an account, provide a credit card and then identify the store address for pickup and my delivery address in Loveland. Once that was done I had to "request" a pickup. GoShare communicated well and the delivery was made without incident by capable people but the cargo van was obviously really well used. I will not shop at Living Spaces. Even if you don't buy "as is" merchandise, Living Spaces will use GoShare for your delivery and charge you accordingly. read more

After reading the reviews I went into the Thornton location, brought up my concerns of these reviews and the guy at the main front door reassured me the negative reviews are an extremely small percentage of the total purchases. He also mentioned that people don't ever review when it's a good experience. WRONG, I would have done that to help reassure everyone... too bad this is a crap show with living spaces. We bought new couches a week ago online because in store they all avoid you like the plague, I'm sure if they were paid commission it would have been easier to get help. Delivery day came, delivery guys set up and took the trash only to be told that the living spaces warehouse guys cut the sofa box which cut the front of the leather couch. They called living spaces, as they are a third party company, and got me on the phone with the management. LS manager looked at the photos taken at the warehouse and in our home, said the whole couch needed to be replaced because it was too significant of a rip to repair.(repair a brand new $3000 couch?!) He told me a replacement would be sent on Thursday (2/20). Wednesday night, no call confirming delivery or emails. I called Thursday, 2/20, to confirm there was a replacement coming. YOUD NEVER GUESS IT, there was no replacement order placed! So now the soonest replacement couch we can hopefully get is late March! Over a month away. Super unfortunate. I should have trusted my gut and gone somewhere else. Spend $5k on brand new couches just to be stuck with one that was cut in the front from careless warehouse people. Do not buy here. When I was purchasing my couch the sales associate told me I had 24 hours to make any adjustments or cancel my order. I left the store at 6pm and got home at 10pm and realized the size wasn't going to work. I went online to adjust it from a 45" to 39" but it wouldn't allow me, so I called 9am the next day. They told me I only had until 8pm the day I bought it to make adjustments, so I'd have to pay a 25% restocking fee (a total of $650). If your sales associate tells a customer they have 24 hours they should honor it as it was a mistake on their part. I did not think to read the cancellation policy as the sales person told me what it would be, but provided false information. read more

We were so excited, then quickly disappointed with our new customized couch. It is beautiful and comfortable, and delivery was fine. But we noticed after unwrapping that it has 3 rips along different seams, about 2 inches each. We have tried contacting customer service 4 times now, but waited on hold for over 30 minutes each time. Once, it hung up on us afternoon waiting a while. We are still waiting to get in touch with them regarding this issue and hope it can be resolved. read more

The experience in the store was great! We really liked a lot of the furniture, the employee we worked with was helpful and it seemed like a very smooth process. We ended up buying about $7000 worth of furniture for our new house. They told us delivery could happen in 4 days no problem, which was great as we had guests coming in to town and one of the items was a bed. Within in 48 hours they called to delay delivery. I then took a day off of work for the new delivery date. Anything that was whole and did not require assembly was fine. Anything that needed assembled could not be put together due to missing hardware, the product was defective or they sent the wrong parts. The bed was defective and had no holes for the bed rails so the delivery guy called the warehouse and the bed was now on back order and was delayed for 4 weeks. The dining room table didn't have any hardware so the base could not be attached to the top. They took the bed but left the table letting us know new hardware would be sent. We scheduled a new delivery date and the bed showed up but this time they sent the wrong hardware. They just left the bed in pieces and said they would call when they got back to the warehouse. They also forgot the hardware for the table. So now we have a dining room table that cannot be used after sitting around for almost 4 weeks in our house and a bed that is in pieces. The customer service has been a nightmare and no one has answers. They just keep saying they have to talk to the warehouse and will call us back, which they don't and then we have to call over and over. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! What good is furniture you like if they can't actually deliver it correctly. This is also their "white glove" delivery service. What an absolute joke! I have to say that I initially thought the idea of having a bar with drinks was a great idea. No amount of drinks or snacks can make up for the high prices and horrible customer service. We purchased a console and four bar stools. The console was a floor model that they would not discount even though it had minor damage. The sales lady wasn't even nice about it. The sales lady said it would take an hour for her todo the paperwork and we could pick up the console. We left and came back to pick up the console. We came to the back of the store where the console was ready to be picked up. There was a young man standing with his arms crossed near the console. He made no move or offer to help me load the console into my truck. My wife offered to help me and the console was heavier than we thought I yelled at the young man standing watching us and offered to pay him 10 dollars to help us. He begrudgingly helped us. I had a 20 and said if he had change I would pay him the 10 dollars that I promised. He came back with the change and I paid him. I told him that this was the worst customer service I had ever experienced. He said that he knew they had bad customer service. I was furious when I left. My wife told me that they could not fix it if they did not know about it so she went back to the store to talk with a manager. There was no manager who she could talk with. They gave her a customer service number which she called. The person on the phone was as rude as everybody we encountered in the store. My daughter purchased her furniture well in advance to pick her date for her new home and they were told it would be no problem but come delivery day no one can tell her where her furniture is. I applied for there credit card. I was approved. I went into my bank to check my FICO score. Holly s*** My score dropped 20 points. I went on there website and called one place to cancel the security charge monthly. ???? I asked them to cancel that and close my account.I only opened it 4 days before I found all this out. I didn't even get the card in the mail yet. She cancelled the security charge. But she had nothing to do with my card. I went back on LS Website to get a telephone number to call. In big letters there was a # of a fiance company I thought was LS bank I called that number asked for my SS# and the last 4 of the credit card. When they answered it was a debit collection agency. What ???? They must have been a overseas, here I gave my SS# to whoever. I was P***** I found another # to call I got something about giving me free medical supplies. What????? I finally got to call and cancel my credit card. By auto machine said you want to cancel yes or no???? I had to say I was calling on a fraud. I explained everything for nothing another place overseas. I cancelled my card and asked them to change information on my FICO Score. We can cancel the card but can't change my credit report score. I was at 7.97 and dropped to 7.77. I called the store we don't handle that. I am reporting it to the Auttony General Office. BBB. And Ch 7 news investigation. Although we did end up purchasing a leather sofa and matching chairs, we were rather disappointed with the service. There were way more sales people than customers in the store, yet no one seemed to have a clue about their products or pricing. The sofa that we wanted was priced higher than the exact same one in a different color. So I asked if we could get ours at the lower price, and we waited 20 minutes while the salesman walked all over the store before coming back with an answer. Turned out that the price on the tag was incorrect, as their system had it at the lower price. Delivery of the sofa and one chair that we ordered was scheduled for four weeks out, which was fine. They did get delivered on the day promised, and were in satisfactory condition. In fact, we liked them so much that we decided to go back to get a second chair. Again, WAY more employees than customers in the store, and none of them seemed to know anything about their products. We saw some chairs that we liked and were told that they were leather (they did look and feel like leather). However, the price tag stated that they were "fabric", and on closer examination I was able to determine that they were, in fact, NOT leather. We decided that we wanted to get the same chair that we had already purchased. Since that item had been discontinued, we asked if we could get the floor model at a discount. Again, we waited for 30 minutes before finally getting an answer. It then took another 15 minutes for them to figure out how to write it up. We wanted take it home with us, but were told we'd have to come back in two hours while they moved it from the showroom to the customer pick up area. After being notified that the item was ready for pick up, we went to the store and waited for another 20 minutes before being told that the chair was still in the showroom (ARRRRRGGGG!!!!!). Bottom line is that we like the furniture, and the prices were ok (but not great). However, I don't see how they will be able to stay in business. read more

Frustration! I ordered a reclining chair and a couch on November 24th. The chair color that was in the showroom was not available to order. So I thought, just order the same chair in a different upholstery color. (I got rid of the old couches -placed this order early because I knew I would need the couch and chair due to surgery on December 21.) Apparently simply ordering another option causes quite an issue internally with Living Spaces. Now they are holding my couch hostage (it was in stock!!!!) while someone is 'building' my chair. We purchased 7 pieces of furniture from them last September, five of them had legs that were completely crooked. We have been dealing with their warranty company for 3 months now, and the legs are still wrong. DO NOT TRUST their warranty, so far they are not helping us at all. First they sent only one leg, even though they knew there were 5 incorrect ones. Their tech came out, tried to fix the legs, told me the factory installed the wrong legs, then suggested I just live with it. Seriously? We spent thousands on this furniture, only to be left with items that look like they came from Walmart. Living Spaces is the equivalent of the Dollar Store in terms in quality. "Oh wow, what a bargain!" you'll say. Once the item (bed foundation) is delivered, you'll quickly discover... that it's not (in this case, size) that was ordered. And even though you contact them within two hours of realizing it's not the right size, and their policy says you have seven days to exchange the item, they will tell you that it can't be refunded or exchanged. Ironically, if I had ordered it through the vendor direct, they would have exchanged it...for up to a year after purchasing it. I was on the phone for an hour, placing an order because the person on the other line had no idea what they were doing. they then we're having it delivered to the wrong address, which I called several times to have it corrected. they did not deliver it on the date it was scheduled for, but instead four days later. when it arrived, it was the wrong configuration. I spent an hour on the phone to order the right configuration to only be told that they can't do that, even though I literally see the configuration I want online. Not a good way to start off in a new town, Living Spaces. After many years of doing business with Living Spaces in California, my wife and I drove to the brand new Colorado store in Thornton. A 40 minute drive up the toll road ($20 round trip, approx), we met Jessica who told us LS had flown her in from their Houston, TX store to help get the store ramped-up. Our initial interaction was pleasant and not in-your-face like some stores can be so we were happy to shop for a new leather sectional. After 30 minutes of shopping, we found the right one and decided to take advantage of their 24 Month "same as cash" financing through Synchrony Bank which is something we've done very easily at their Irvine, CA store... After leaving the store, we drove home, measured the space and called Jessica to have her send us the link to complete order. After a few calls to Synchrony, we confirmed that our Synchrony Home credit card could be used for this purchase but it would require Living Spaces in Thornton to call Synchrony directly and they would facilitate the transaction. Instead we got a call from a nasally voiced woman (sounded more like a teenager reading a script) that claimed our previous transactions were paid for with a Discover Card?! Synchrony Home is partner of Discover but you'd think they'd know this?! When we bring this to their attention, the woman just kept speaking OVER my wife and refused to listen?! I have since asked for the GMs name and phone number but was told I would have to go through Customer Service (1-877 number). I'm done. Fast forward, this whole process took three days and they're now telling us we have to return to the store to open another line of credit with Synchrony in order to place our order. No thanks. I purchased a marble coffee table from Living Spaces and upon delivery I immediately noticed the condition of the table. The marble table was scratched and chipped on each of the four sides. On one side in particular it is very clear that Living Spaces attempted to fix a chip because there is brown staining around the area that was chipped and 'filled' in. Monday morning I called customer service and they offered a 10% discount. I told them they should see the condition of the table before offering a 10% discount so they can actually see the condition the table is in. I sent in photos and no response after four days so I called back in. This time , I get a representative who says they did not even open a case on my order. I told her I would be happy to forward her the images. I send in the images and then I am offered a 15% discount. I told her this table was 750 plus tax a total of 814.02. If they offered 15% that is LESS than the cost of restocking. That is also LESS than the cost for someone to repair it. On the phone call they agreed that because it is stone a repair will likely not work . So I told them ok why not refund at least 30% . My reasoning is 1. A repair won't work 2. An exchange would require me to disassemble a marble table and pack it up. I am 5'1 120 lbs I cannot disassemble a table to return it. They said I could pay one of their people to disassemble it. At this point it seems to me they want me to pay to send it back when they sent in the messed up table in the first place. In no other shopping scenario have I been told I would need to PAY to have someone pick up a defected product from my home in order to receive a new one. Living Spaces has an 'as is' shopping program where you can buy items from the floor for huge discounts. I told them with proof of severe damage on this table they should at minimum offer me an 'as is' price if I cannot lift the table to return it let alone transport the table. This is why it was delivered in the first place. Overall I am really disheartened by the lack of 'care' and customer service and I feel more people should know that this is occurring so they do their shopping elsewhere. A customer should not have to PAY to return damaged items especially with a 1 year warranty and a 7 day return policy. Seemed okay to start in the store. We ordered a desk, bed, nightstands, mattress, pillows, and mattress pad. The desk didn't come within the promised few days, and we had to ask the Chatbot to help us get the desk so my partner could work. The other items were on "backorder" and we were told we'd be called in about 3 weeks to schedule delivery. A month and a half AFTER we were supposed to be contacted, I finally get an answer that 3 of the items are not backordered, they're no longer in inventory at ALL and no one told us. We spent thousands of dollars on these items, to not get them. I had to demand a refund on the full list of items that we are still missing. Their refund policy is a joke, giving you 48 hours to get a refund but then their items don't show up for weeks. I was lucky to get a refund. just now NEW i wouldnt even give them one star. Living Spaces is a nightmare to work with. Do not recommend to anyone. We bought a $900 cabinet and came home to find a broken leg and a missing glass shelf. When we went back they tried to say the shelf was an extra cost of $25! ha! do i buy a couch and pay extra for the cushions? i refused to pay it on principle alone. we spent 45 mins dealing with this before they agreed to cover the glass. we ordered a second cabinet at $900 and they assured us it would arrive with glass. well shocker the new one came damaged on the door and with no glass shelf and we've been told the other piece of glass is now not able to be delivered for some unknown reason. I am in my mid 40's and never in my life have had such a ludacris, frustrsting, nonsensical and quite frankly scam like shopping experience. i do not recommend this retailer to anyone and will never spend another dime there. its a sham! i literally feel like im being scammed and they are more than happy to run you around the store searching for non satisfactory answers. they want your money and dont give a crap about your time or being an ethical retailer. read more

Very poor quality outdoor table. Chipping and peeling after 2 months. They will not do anything about it. Do not shop here!
